God knows what is in the heart, thoughts of people from birth to death. God knows what people are going to do before they do it. God knows before they chose what they will chose. God said Satan has angels. Understand Satan will present himself as an angel of light. Satan will say he is the light! Satan plotted to kill Jesus before his ministry and used these 3 men as scouts. Gods angel intervened.

Under the fifth seal, and under all that which up to now is opened to our view; it is the persecution of Cain against Abel, and Nimrod against the happy and virtuous new world after the cataclysm; the furious rage of the heathen, and the vain imagination of the people against the LORD, and against His Anointed. And so the sixth seal is the Day of the LORD; and the seventh seal silence in heaven.

Verses 9 and 10 show how virtuous Joseph was. He not only kept from doing wrong, but he refused to allow himself to be in a compromising situation.

Isaiah 8:20 - "To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word; it is because there is no light in them." Acts 17:11 "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Insight (cont.); The mother of Jesus was required under the Law to bring a sacrifice to atone for her uncleanness after giving birth. The uncleanness is related to the blood, and our unfitness as a species before God, on account of the alienation and ruin of our nature through sin. Because Mary and Joseph were poor, they were permitted to bring two young doves or pigeons. Matthew 5:17-19

Insight; Have you not read, or perhaps forgotten, that the Covenant God made with Abraham, He established for all the son's of the Covenant for ever? and shouldn't He also who made the Covenant, when He came in flesh, Himself be subject to His own oath? Why did Jesus go to John to be baptized? Because "Thus it becomes us to fulfill all righteousness." Circumcision is a sign in the flesh, of faith.

(7-17); The LORD's city set upon a hill, all Nations have seen: yet who among all their great ones has ever taken to heart what God has done to Israel, so as to consider themselves lest they also fall into His hands! Instead they have wickedly embolden themselves to fill up their world with all that they have imagined to do, and do not repent; and add to wrath by persecuting the already punished.

Even thought John was put in prison for his preaching, he viewed this as an opportunity to show his love for Jehovah God.

(1-6); cont... Now we know the glorious Glad Tidings of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; that He has borne away our sins and made reconciliation for us with God; and that for Jesus' sake the Father accepts us and has cast all our sins behind His back. But what this law teaches us, is that the things that men do are spiritual and binding in their effect; and by God's decree must be so completed.

(1-6); A precept that was spoken of the LORD in Moses; ( Leviticus 26:39-45); tells how WE in the end of days; when we do indeed confess our sins, and the sins of our ancestors, that we will with that humbled and penitent spirit, accept of the punishment from God, and amend our ways and our doings to walk in truth and do right in His sight. The condition of the world won't change until all is done.

Knowledge can increase our power as verse 5 shows. When we have accurate details about a matter we can know how to successfully deal with it and this can increase our strength.

The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have Persecuted Me, they will also Persecute You;if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also. John 15:20./ Persecution will come to a Born-again Believer when they Preach The Way of Salvation. In the Last Days there'll be rockers: Jude:18./Ye Shall be Hated of all---: He that shall endure unto The End,---Shall be Saved. Mark 13:13

No where in the Torah is a Savior mentioned that will die and be raised in 3 days. Their Christ is secular. Their belief : "mashiach" literally means "the anointed one," and refers to the ancient practice of anointing kings with oil when they took the throne. The mashiach is the one who will be anointed as king in the End of Days. V46 is the Christian scripture that has been written.

Dear Charlie; You may have misunderstood: I was talking about the term, "Accept Jesus;" which IS NOT ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE! The proper word is Repent of your sins, and Believe in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! WE do not accept God! Excuse me! Jesus isn't some hobo standing at our back door waiting for a plate of beans, of OUR acceptance! We are the ones who need acceptance, not the Lord Jesus!
  • Insight777 on Luke 22 - 9 years ago
V 36,37, very interesting. Jesus is saying write his gospel down because he is leaving earth and wants future generations to know his Word. Before this point, Apostles were preaching by word of mouth, perhaps because many people could not read. Swords are symbolic, swords of truth 2 witnessed by each other. These swords cut down lies. Jesus, was considered by liars to be transgressing their law.

In verses 11 through 13 we see that humility helped Paul to accept counsel. If we cultivate humility, this will help us to accept counsel as well.

Moses is one of the witnesses because he was resurrected and taken to heaven. How do I know this, easy. All the saved that died before the cross went to paradise and were trapped there, yet Moses appears at the transfiguration (he's no longer in or was in paradise). Plus along with Elijah, he never finished his ministry. Christ was resurrected to never die again, Moses will die twice.
  • BSP on Ephesians 6 - 9 years ago
Verse 19 shows that Paul requested that others pray for him so that he could be successful in his ministry. We should pray for others and we can request that others pray for us.

Mary is touching the most hollowed thing on earth when she held baby Jesus! Can people not see this? Nothing on earth was more pure or loved by God than Jesus. Not Moses or any of his law made Jesus acceptable to God. Giving birth to the Son of God did not make Mary unclean!

  • Insight777 on Leviticus 12 - 9 years ago
When Jesus, the Son of God, was born he was without blemish, spot or blame and so was Mary, that is why God chose her. God never viewed his SON as needing a blood sacrifice on an altar to make him acceptable by God! No innocent sheep or bird had to be murdered so Jesus would be clean. The same goes for Mary! A baby sheep did not save mankind! Moses brought the man made laws but Jesus brings truth.

Verse 6 shows that angels have an interest and are involved in the preaching of the good news.
