Had to come back! As we are living in the last days in the Bible, this scripture helps me not to become discouraged Jehovah God has made a promise, and that is to give us a cleansed earth. Cleaned from all wickedness and suffering. This encourages me to keep living in a bay that christian should so I can receive that promise.

The teaching of the vision is that "We must again testify" and "be called to witness before kings and governors for Jesus' name sake." The tribulation of the completion of the age, is for sifting and proving the souls of all who dwell upon the earth, beginning with the House of God. If the Lord commands for us to live and remain till He comes, our duty and debt to Him, is to Him Jesus all the way.

Amen, Jesus!

Irene123; you're not understanding the truth about the completion of the age: It is not because God is "unloving," that we will be here till the coming of the Lord; but because He has appointed us to be His witnesses; to endure to the end faithful, to fill up the sufferings of Christ "in His body." Every account in the Scriptures tells us, that these things work toward the judgment of the world.

In the darkest times in my life Psalms 23 has been a light. Psalms 23 is very powerful and encourages me. The words are refreshing and lift my spirits time and time again. Great way to start my day and great comfort to read before I go to sleep.

There can be no peace on earth - until Jesus comes in the millennial reign as our King. Man - cannot do this. Man has made peace overtures, peace pacts, peace treaties out the ying yang - none of them to any avail.

People need to quit worrying about when the dead will rise and before or after this 'n that - and look to their own salvation.

Prove to me that the rapture is made up since 1880

The rapture isn't about individuals being taken to heaven - here 'n there; it's the WHOLE church of the Lord Jesus, worldwide, taken to be with Him forever - before the trib. A LOVING God would NOT allow such horror as 7trs. of trib. to befall His people whom He - LOVES. He's certainly not less than an earthly father. How can you say God is love and then say He will let us go thru that?!!

To Bruce - You've got me curious; at the end of many of your comments you say, "impossible not to know". How is it impossible not to know? And a week ago you said, "changed: 2 Cor. 5:17." what changed?

Because of this unbelief of His people is why in a.d. 70 God allowed the temple to be destroyed. Since then NO blood sacrifices have ben performed. The unbelieving Jews are still waiting for their messiah to return and restore the temple worship; which will happen, but their 'messiah' will be the anti-Christ; the will truly believe he is - messiah.

V. 10 - At this time, after Jesus' new covenant was now in force, the unbelieving Jews were still (ineffectually) observing the O.T. rituals (which blood could never take away sins, those rituals just rolled them ahead for one year). These Jews had no right, in their unsaved state, to partake of the new covenant altar. There were MANY Jews, i.e. apostles, disciples, that believed, but most not.

I've seen several on here that I know are aware of the end of Acts - it has no 'closing', no 'amen', no 'bless you all in Jesus name', nothing like that; it just - stops. Does anyone know why this is?

Cont. - the Lord wants us, as His witnesses. to be calm, to be reasonable with each other, to respectfully listen to each other. Ranting, raving and tossing out scripture for the sake of 'one upmanship' is defeating the cause of Christ; that's how wars start.

V. 2 - Paul spoke truth in v. 1; in v. 2 Ananias commanded Paul to be sote on the mouth, which God stopped. When someone witnesses, in person, by letter, by phone, by PC, - it is wrong to 'smite' them by getting indignant, angry, and saying they are fools, ignorant, etc. In Pro. it says a 'soft' answer, in Isa., Jer.? it says, "Come now, let us reason together, ..... "; cont.

Cont. - you have to sincerely repent; all things done decently and in order - repent, be baptized, receive the holy ghost (evidenced by speaking in tongues). Tongues is how one KNOWS and is a witness to those praying with them that they have re'cvd God's saving spirit. I will be glad to answer any 'sincere' questions about this, and I am not a 'know-it-all'; it's all in God's word.

Part 2 - and I know about Elijah and Enoch, but I mean in the context of having to face a trial. The Holy Spirit will speak through the Elect. They will stand against the first/false Christ. The canon of the KJV was set by GOD; it is HIS book, after all. Anyone who wants to read the apocrypha can do so; it's in other books; so why complain about it ..... ? You still have your freedom to read the apocrypha. God will keep His book, the KJV, the way He wants it.

V. 24 - " ....... in sincerity ...". Those 2 words say a lot. "Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee." Psalms ??

God will fight your every battle long as you seek the kingdom of God first, and know matter what your enemies do God will fight. GOD will put you through testing period as well and if you past the first you will go to the next test and their different level in God. people make sure read his word it's meat and hope in the word of God.
