Psalm 91 is a complete prayer! You can take each verse and pray extensively with it. We cannot say we are dwelling in the shadow of the Most High and relish or feel comfortable with a sinful lifestyle.
I also strongly believe that using this Psalm to pray constantly can bring one out of a life of fear into a realm of all round peace. Try it, it works always.

I love the comments and i love his psalms 91 my brother encountered me to read it everyday i fell and things change i found that it is nothing like staying connected with God the only way you can know him is read his word he will do just what his word say it wil do.

I fought to live with these words in my heart.

As you read just take God at his word and simply believe the words on the page. Paul says that the gospel that he preaches is not after man. Believe what he says. Verse 4 had been in many of my devotions lately. I have been praying about a situation for nearly 4 yrs now and I get discouraged at times. One devotions on this talked about being content and the Lord will eventually provide what we need. So I am learning to be content while I wait.

Only people who heard the words of God and obeying his words will receive life in abundance. Without hearing his words it's impossible to please him. James 4:4 is speaking of some of this.He definitely wasn't speaking of Himself.As you live so are you in this world.You need to study the chpt. 4:11-17

"..... and I and the lad will go ....... and come again to you." This was just br'ot out in this a.m. Bible study. Abraham had FAITH in God, but did he realize what he said here? Or did God put those words in his mouth, un-knowing to Abraham? Abraham actually raised the knife. I just feel that Abraham didn't realize what he had said; and 'feelings' are not a good interpreter of His word.

My friends you cannot earn your way to Heaven by obeying or abiding in the will of God. We are sinners and we need a savior. Jesus died and rose again to give us eternal life and he promises that all who ask him for salvation will be saved.
