God protects all those people that are believers,Joshua knows that God is his source of strength, and courage, his armor against the world. We're commanded by God not to be afraid or week, confused,He didn't say anything about trying to be these things.God wants only good things for us.God loves me, and you,He is always with us.We can be like He said.So Be it,Amen

The word I received on 12 05 16 was Zephaniah chapter 1 verse 10. The Lord is saying through the Prophet is on that day there will be screams and crying every where as there is going to be catastrophic destruction. The day of the Lord is coming.

For me the lesson here is God will always be ready to take us back into His care even though He chastiseth who He Loves . Applied to daily living we should lean not to our own understanding, but first aknowledge Him and He will direct our path.
  • MARIA on 2 Samuel 1 - 9 years ago
My view about Saul is this:he knew that his time was up.He'd come to the end of his reign.you know that you are finish when the good Lord's rejected you.the Amelike man, I think was acting with mixed motives.1.He could have easily tell a different storyabout.or find a better way of explaining the situation. So I think that David saw through his story and realized that it did not add up.

James 1. He states his God and the Lord Jesus are his reason to live. James is their servant..
I feel I am the same ...I am a prisoner and am told what to do my Father the Lord Jesus. I am a happy servant and am proud of my master and all he stands for. If any circumstances are sorrowful It is for some good. I trust always.

Save his people? The Jewish people know the Old Testament. Most don't believe in the birth of Christ or the New Testament. They're still waiting for their messiah! Very few believe in the blood of Christ. He WILL save his people who are Jews Romans2:29, called John6:44, baptized Luke3:16
What difference? 'll Corinthians 5:17. The Final day! Revelations20:15

  • STEPHANIE on John 10 - 9 years ago
Irene-If you haven't already and if you truly want to go through that door (Jesus Christ), surrender your life to Jesus. Ask him to be your personal Lord and Savior. Be baptized in water. Go to church more. Show more love and compassion as Jesus did. As John 14:6 says, "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life."

  • Garry Tinger on Psalms 37 - 9 years ago
Amen Friday 12 9 16 5:08 MST For the earth is the Lords and all who dwell there in! It is better to be understood than to understand. Leaning not on my own understanding. Trusting to obey His will for my life one day at a time ... Saved by his grace through faith!
  • Lynn on James 1 - 9 years ago
Count it all joy . . . Every temptation is persecution from the adversary. Satan's goal is to bury the word in the confusion of living. However rejoicing in temptation allow us to remember the word to perform it in the temptation.
  • Carol ross on Luke 1 - 9 years ago

  • Irene123 on 1 Corinthians 16 - 9 years ago
This does and doesn't have to do with this chap. This is a short quote by Tyrone Edwards (1809-1894). quote: "The highest attainment of the spiritual life, is to be able at all times and in all things to say, "thy will be done." That's what "Amen" means. We say it SO OFTEN - without even thinking about what we are saying. God's answer may be just opposite of our prayer. Father knows best ........
  • Felicia on Psalms 88 - 9 years ago
Thank God that when we are in the valley of the shadow of death, God is still there, even if we might think He has forgotten us. But praise be to God that when He brings us through, we are refined like pure gold. This end result motivate us to endure really tough times in our walk with the Lord. Thank you Lord Jesus, that indeed it's the living that praise you and not the dead. Hallelujah!
  • Irene123 on Deuteronomy 1 - 9 years ago
Deut. - What a PRECIOUS book. It's so full of God's love, patience and wisdom. Somewhere in Deut. it states that His commandments are not grievous - and is reiterated in 1Jn.5:3. And it's SO true; His commandments are so easy to live with. And - CHEAPER! I save $40 a week since He delivered me from tobacco 3 yrs. ago. I give that to Him every week.

Vs 4 - We are baptized (immensed) into Christ through the work of the Holy Spirt. A Circumcision not made by hands. (Col.2:11-12). Through the Law we understand what sin is ( Rom. 3:20). It converts us (turns us around). Psa 19:7. The Law is a SchoolMaster to lead us to Christ. (Gal.3:24). Through Repentance and faith ( Mark 1:15), we are Born from Above ( John 3:3), and delivered from the Law. Vs.14
