This verse shows that God is willing to forgive if His people decide to turn their lives around and follow him. God's forgiveness is dependent upon our true repentance.

Can someone please help me understand? In verses 26-30 God creates man and woman and they are told to multiply and fill the earth and are instructed concerning the benefits He has made for them. But in chapter 2 vs 7 our creator forms Adam because there is no one on earth. I've always been confused by this but embarrassed to question God's word. Thank you for sharing.

    V. 6. If, when giving tithes and offerings, you desire to increase giving, cheerfully and lovingly, to the Lord, talk to Jesus. He will make the way for the increase, even if in small increments. Giving your income and finances to Him will allow Him to work with them. AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED at His working with your finances. He will do as He says. He will make sure you never lacking. TRUST HIM

Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes out from the mouth of God. Seek ye the Kingdom of God first and everything will be added unto you. Jesus and his words is our life. Without obeying his words its impossible to please Jesus and to have faith from him. Prayers are vital but praising and worshipping God are more important to meditate . Thanks to the blood of Jesus amen

    2 Chron. 7:13 - If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; Jer. 3:3 - Therefore the showers hath been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain;

The lord says He always has an escape for temptation when u are tempted
  • Angela on James 1 - 9 years ago
I think verses 12 -15gives a clear explanation about how we fall into temptations. When we leave our fist Love and steer away from the Lord ,the devil is allowed to temped us and the lust of the flesh is weak and we fall and separate ourself from our lord. Spiritually we have a hard time getting back to the Lord because of the consequences of our actions. There is a hope though repenance .

  • Irene123 on Jeremiah 30 - 9 years ago
Who sets on what throne - is not pertinent to salvation. That's all God's business - AFTER we are saved - Acts 2:37 (what must we do?); 2:38.
  • Irene123 on Jeremiah 29 - 9 years ago
    V. 7 - seek ye the peace ...........for in the peace, ye shall have peace. What a beautiful thing! It's the same as Matt. 5:9. Only 'the children of God' seek peace. Others say they do, but they haven't the strength of His spirit yo continually do so.
  • Searcher on Ecclesiastes 6 - 9 years ago

    Dear Kabarie,,

The best interpretation I can put on this verse is that if a man works hard and overcomes adversity to create benefits for himself and his successors, what he creates, including monetary wealth, should be available to him to enjoy, not to some other person who has done nothing towards the creation of the benefits, e.g., immigrants ('strangers').
  • Linda Gordon on Psalms 23 - 9 years ago
I love to read Psalms 23. When I was a little child my mother would say this verses all the time around the house. She said it do much, i learn the words listen to her. She would tell me to recite this verse everyday. One of my favorite today.

To Joe - We have right to do certain things which in themselves are not wrong as God has permitted, however we should consider others whose faith might be weak for that your liberty and we should not let what is lawful for us become a stumbling block for them. What we do should build them up and help them in their walk with the Lord. Hope that helps.
  • Irene123 on Daniel 6 - 9 years ago
To Simon - The Jews always prayed toward - JERUSALEM; so the direction didn't matter.
  • Irene123 on Daniel 5 - 9 years ago
To Insight777 - it wasn't of Belshazzar that the robe 'n chain were put on Daniel; it was God's doing. In the next ch. Darius sets Daniel up over the princes - one of only 3. Daniel kept his walk with God - to be a witness to his own people as well as the gentiles. And God caused Darius to honor him. Nowhere does it say Daniel didn't want this. He knew he could use it for God's glory.

Joshua, Caleb - only 2 out of the THOUSANDS that left Egypt. These 2 are the 'type' of remnant for today that will be saved at the rapture. Out of billions - only a Joshua/Caleb remnant.
