The next big falling away will be the untimely figs (remnant) when shaken by a mighty wind. Wind is doctrine. Some good, some bad. Apostacy creeping into churches, dulling truth cause many to leave God's remnant They decide the world has more to offer. It doesn't. It's an illusion of satan, spread by Rome's unity lies. God has standards. Lord Lord doesn't cut it. Obedience is required. Study daily
  • Sabbathkeeper on Revelation 9 - 9 years ago
All of Revelation is chronological AND in a chiasm structure. (The old way of poetry), and in this period of time, the locust represent the Ottoman Empire and Islam, which the last 5 mos(150 yrs) ended around 1840. The number of the "horsemen" are demons that came out of the bottomless pit. The same ones conjoured by Rome in the ecumenical movement. Expect more decay in truth because of it.
  • Sabbath keeper on Revelation 7 - 9 years ago
The 144,000 aren't yet in heaven. No one is. Another lie of Rome to support humans being immortal. Only God is immortal and no one has yet ascended but He who has descended. All with hear his voice and come out of the graves on the last day at the last trump. Jesus says this 4 times on one gospel alone. It's part of the same lie as burning forever. It's NOT biblical. Search scripture DAILY to know
  • Ozella Hare on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
On Genesis 1:26, God said "let us make man in our image, after our likeness"... God is Spirit . His image is spirit, He made us spirit, only human. Job 32:8; I Corinthians 2:11, Psalms 51:10. verse 29, he talked to them as spirit to spirit
Genesis 2:7 God formed man, and breathe into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. (not the woman yet) v.20 then he formed the woman.
  • Irene123 on 2 Chronicles 20 - 9 years ago
@ Chr. 20:22 - One of the greatest battles that Judah ever won was won , not with a sword, but with a song, because someone realized how to help Him. When we hear Him at work, when we see Him behind enemy lines, get up out of your despair and worship Him, praise Him, love Him!! Lift your hands, worship, praise - He has ALREADY won for us!!
  • Winnie njue on Psalms 41 - 9 years ago

Is Revelation 11:12 referring to the rapture and after Christians are taken to Heaven will there be people left behind and with still much of the book to be fulfilled.

We don't go to heaven yet. Yeshua comes to take people to a safe place and when everything has passed he will reign here on earth for 1000 years and then we get tested again by satan.

  • John Grays on Malachi 4 - 9 years ago
Jesus did come as Elijah, as in His hour of need He had a visitation by Moses and Elijah. Jesus came to correct the past and set forth a new thing for God's people because of the disorder Satan caused in the leadership of the church. We have yet to understand what God's Will truly is.....
  • Word on Revelation 17 - 9 years ago
Babylon city of confusion scripture tells us Satan will be in Jerusalem claiming he is Christ. Satan as the false messiah can twist scripture faster than any of these preachers out here and he can make it sound so true when it's a lie but you can bet those preachers will jump on the antichrist wagon and bring all their ignorant sheep with them. Now if someone is smart they will hear two witnesses.
  • Gaii Winston on James 2 - 9 years ago
God said the poor we will have always. Therefore we will always be able to work with them. Jesus was with the poor. Most of us a 2 income away from feeling provertity. When I drive by them I give them food breakfast bars. Dollar store gloves, hats soap, We can use the 10 per cent we are to give to God. The nursing homes are full of lonley people. Children suffer from broken homes. Lite shine

  • Irene123 on Leviticus 8 - 9 years ago
Lev.8:7 - "And he put upon him the coat,.....and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him ....."; The garments that the high priest wore reflected his role as the symbol of Jesus our savior. The coat represented the MAN Jesus; the robe represented the DIVINE Jesus, and the ephod represented his giving of Himself as a sinless sacrifice. The ephod had the names of ALL God's people.
  • Marat on Acts 4 - 9 years ago
Your answer Annah to the question: Who was the high priest when Peter and John were arrested at the temple? is incorrect. The correct answer is Caiaphas. See John 18:13, Annah was father-in-law of Caiaphas who was a high priest for that year.
  • Irene123 on 2 Samuel 13 - 9 years ago
excerpt from a book, "Amnon Had a Friend." What is it that overwhelmed all the good things in Amnon's life? His failure came about because of his choice of friends. The power of friendship to make or beak us cannot be overestimated." 2 Cor. 6:14.

  • Irene123 on John 21 - 9 years ago
    V. 6 - tells me - we can do nothing in the spiritual realm, i.e. reaching souls for Christ, which is our MAIN purpose in His life that is in us, without Him - Acts2:38 (v. 37, "what must we do?")
  • Irene123 on Ephesians 6 - 9 years ago
V.17 - We need to take the SWORD 'off the wall', out from under the pomegranate tree (Saul) and take it to the red-light district, take it to the mall, take it into the schools, take it on the job. "If God be for us ..............." So maybe they will threaten you - "who can be against us"? But let's do it with love, not condemnation. To do it with love - we need to PRAY for His blessing.
  • Irene123 on Matthew 27 - 9 years ago
    V. 34 - it says they brought to Him vinegar mixed with gall; He 'tasted' it, but would not drink it - because in His suffering was our salvation. Gall is myrrh - which is an anesthetic for pain. He also could have simply come down of His own power, or called angels, but we would have no salvation.
