I have been looking for such a commentary on the King James version of 1611 for a long time. This interpretation is simple and makes the reading of the word that much more meaningful to me. Thank you.

Would you really stone your own child to death for suggesting their might be truth in another god? I cannot take this as advise or wisdom. Please, can someone explain.

Matthew 24,Christ told his disciples of the destruction that's coming! When you see it flee quickly! It will be a horrible time. That took place about 40 years later. Given suck means the mothers carrying nursing babies. Just like the Holocaust they were fleeing in the summer in the winter with little kids, nursing babies what a horrible time to be a mom! It's going to happen again in the end time

I ALWAYS ask God to bring me back when I I stray and to lead me in righteousness. Psalms 27 he's the strength of my salvation and in Isaiah 41 he supports me with his right hand. I really love my God and Jesus Christ my Savior.

Jesus said John 3:3,5 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

    You must be BORN AGAIN
  • Ricardo - 9 years ago
Michael you must be baptized. The proper way is Acts 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
This is how you are born again.
  • Ricardo on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
To Michael read this Mark 16:16-18 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with NEW TONGUES;They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall reco

And that's why Peter said in Acts 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

In Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his NAME Jesus.

In John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

  • Ricardo on Acts 1 - 9 years ago
The Holy Spirit is Jesus. In Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said in the NAME. These 3 TITLES have a NAME. Lets look at the scriptures for the NAME. In John 5:23 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
  • Bruce on Matthew 7 - 9 years ago
Authority to judge? He doesn't say don't ever judge but be careful how. v:2-5,to who v:6,watch out v:15,how will you know v:16. Just like sheep will get tangled up or stuck in mud. Don't say I will never be in that mess I would never say or do that! I'm glad I'm not like you! For by what judgment you use you will be judged. By their fruits you know v:20. Don't push them deeper but lift them up!

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Nick: John, baptized Jesus knowing he is The Savior!
John is Now setting in a dirty smelly prison cell, probably bruised and bloody, where the food isn't so great. Wondering, is this the one? Is there another? So he sends his disciples to ask are you the one? The flesh needs confirmation.
Blessed assurance He is the One !
    Peace like a river!
  • Felicia on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
To R. MacDonald We all know that God is One but we say God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. "Let us make man in our own image after our likeness" can refer to God's majesty. Verse 27 becomes singular again it says "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him male and female created he them."
  • Maria Morales on Ezekiel 16 - 9 years ago
The first thing I noticed is that Abraham was from Canaan which must mean he was black. God is comparing Israel to a whorish woman because of her idolatry. She took on the idols of the heathen. I'm not sure who Sodom represents here but Samaria represents the N.Kingdom. V.60 says He will have mercy on them and establish an everlasting covenant with them when His fury towards them has ended.
  • Felicia on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
To M. Butler Romans 10:9-10 says "That if you shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
  • Felicia on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
To Lillian You are right, God created every person but scripture says all those who will believe in His Son Jesus only them are the children of God. Otherwise they are God's creation. Jh 1:12 One needs to believe in Jesus Christ and to receive Him as their Lord and personal Saviour without which they are not children of God.
  • Maria Morales on Ezekiel 15 - 9 years ago
According to Ps80:8 Israel is both the vine and the branch. Just like the wood after it has been burned is no good for nothing so would Israel be v.6. Jerusalem was burned literally by Babylon and Rome and the Israelites were cast out of the land and God gave them over to their enemies. Soon he will save them from their enemies Lk1:68 for He is good and His mercy endureth forever.
  • Ella Armwood on Ezekiel 8 - 9 years ago
Be not deceived, for God demand that we do not worship Idols ,Abomination unto The Lord, for He is a jealous God,do not provoke He.Stay in His word, and live.
  • Dennis on Deuteronomy 13 - 9 years ago
Do not be deceived by the harsh nature of the 13th chapter, and do not accuse God of being like other gods which are no gods. If you get anything from the inspired words of this chapter, realize the awfulness and wickedness of idolatry and God's hatred for it. Through the harsh penalties, God is graciously showing to any and all who will heed where idolatry ultimately leads, eternal death.

Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
