Understanding the word diverse, mixed or unblance weights and meassure.
Meaning short changing or cheating people who are unaware of the actual cost of something. God don't like that!
Ex: buyers something from the market and it weighs one amount, but when u get home u find something in it that added to the weigh and measure! Bummer
  • Rebecca on Genesis 2 - 9 years ago
Why does Genesis 1 and 2 seem to contradict? Or is it that chapter one is like the thesis in the beginning of an essay while chapter 2 elaborates and goes into more detail of what the first chapter said?
  • Irene123 on Psalms 28 - 9 years ago
    V. 2 - ".....when I lift up my hands ....."; We do this and during every service, at least once, I can feel the very slightest 'pressure' on my palms, especially when everyone is feeling His presence and praising Him. He wants us to be in 'unity' in our worship of Him, to have no divisions nor angers among us, to LOVE one another in the beauty of His Holiness.
  • IRENE123 on Psalms 26 - 9 years ago
    v. 12 - :.....In the CONGREGATIONS will I bless the Lord." Heb. 10:25 - ".....not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is." A Christian walk with God/Jesus is not a solitary - as many 'pretend' to believe. You cannot sit on a mountain top and 'meditate' on God DURING Sunday services. God sees such and He deals with them, but some won't 'listen'.
  • Irene123 on 1 Samuel 17 - 9 years ago
You have to just love David; Ps. 20:17 - ".....but we will remember the name of the Lord our God." 1 Sam. 17:45 - "....., but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts ....."; (who is the 'phillistine' to defy the armies of the living God?!"). I love it, I love it; HALLELUJAH!!!
  • Irene123 on Psalms 14 - 9 years ago
    v. 1 - We need to pray, pray really and sincerely pray for the 'fools'. Pray with REAL compassion - which compassion ONLY the Holy Ghost dwelling in us can give; we cannot 'conjure' it up ourselves.
  • Irene123 on Psalms 13 - 9 years ago
To Elaine - on Ps 13, 3 mos. ago; that was just beautiful ..........
  • Irene123 on Psalms 11 - 9 years ago
To Goodness - Why do bad things happen to good people? As far as living in this world is concerned, before we are with Him in Heaven - everybody has to experience the good and bad; for the Christian the bad helps us grow in Him; for the bad it (hopefully) helps them to see Him; Matt. 5:45; Eccl.2:14,15; 8:14; 9:11. These verses will help you understand.
  • Bill Lambert on Psalms 2 - 9 years ago
Psalms 2 refers to Jesus, who is King of kings and Lord of lords, the Alpha and omega, the First and last, the Beginning and the end. Jesus is deliverer: from all pain, sickness, sorrow, and death. The children of God are they who put their trust in Him and who sin not.
  • Librarygal143 on Psalms 10 - 9 years ago
Amen! Thank you Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever!
  • John Bryan on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
I love the promise in Verse 15: If we keep our gaze set on Him, He will deliver us and He will honor us. That's how much God thinks of His creation, that He will honor us.
  • Irene123 on Psalms 10 - 9 years ago
To R. Johnson - You posted this on this Sunday; had you been at my church today - you would have heard His voice, loud 'n clear. I'm not judging, being a 'smarty', none of that. I sincerely wish you and so many others could have been there. It was POWERFUL. GLORIOUS, every good aspect of God you can imagine. It was our T'giving service.
  • Bruce on Luke 4 - 9 years ago
You should read that part of job and you'll see he never asked. nobody said anything about the power of God. you're in denial of Satan's power! he destroys lives with his power! That's why you need the armor of God. if he have no power we wouldn't need armor! We would be living in the Garden of Eden.

  • Lilian on Psalms 10 - 9 years ago
Those who praise themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will be praise. What a promising and faithful God we serve. God's words are very important to meditate day and night so that we will be reminded on everything we do Jesus has a power into his words. Blessed are those who believe the Son of the Living God only thru Jesus we are redeemed pardoned and forgiven.Praise you Lord

  • Elizabeth on Psalms 23 - 9 years ago
My dear mother and greatest cheerleader in my life suffered from Pick's Disease from her 60's until The Lord took her home at age 78. As her only daughter and caregiver seeing her through was such a hard journey for us both. Every night we (tried) to end the evening with Psalms 23 in The Old King James version and, although she could not communicate otherwise, she repeated this Psalms with me.
  • Edmo Ribeiro on Psalms 23 - 9 years ago
    On Psalms 23.
It is the most beautiful passage in the Bible.
It shows that I an not alone and no matter what are the circumstances of life.
    Jesus said: " I am a Good Sherpard " .
Jesus's loves me an care about me. Now I know for sure that I am not alone anymore.

In verse 26 what do you think the words "let US make" and "after OUR likeness". Both imply more than one or plural.

  • Irene123 on Luke 4 - 9 years ago
To Bruce - I can see you WANT satan to have his own power; Jesus is bigger than that, Bruce; Jesus is God and He is ALL powerful; if God created satan - you know God is ALL power - and satan as none. It's just - common sense. "Come, let us reason together ..............."; God wants us to use our common He gave us. And - why do you think satan was there before God that day? To ASK ...........

  • Bible Reader on 1 Corinthians 8 - 9 years ago

But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. 1 Corinthians 8:6 states one God and his name is Jesus.
  • Eric on Psalms 10 - 9 years ago
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
