If it was then I would have to agree with you ,it is very difficult to recognise one own errors.
Yet if I am in error is it any use for someone simply to quote some scriptures that do not address those other scriptures some of which I quoted in an argument that pointed out how much grief the Lord had over the same subject? Yet the response as always is simply to come back with those Scriptures that suit a particular line of thinking . Yet if my understanding of them is wrong and the other right surely they shouid be able to enlighten me? As to why those scruptures do not apply .
I refuse to go into what I call a head banging session so I'll stand by what I said unless another can convince me otherwise .
And if it is argued that the Holy Spirit enlightens then on that ground I'll still stand .
And refuse to 'shout' at each other . My objections should be answered not ignored for replying with the same s riotures that suit but ignoring those that apply but don't is neither profitable to those who do it or to any who might be swayed by such an aproach.
"One is the unseen Will powered by Wisdom and holiness of the word and the other made to earth"
Please read as "One is the unseen Will powered by Wisdom and holiness of the word and the other made to appear."
"For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." (v.40)
What is tthe heart of the earth? The word of God and and it was ordained before the worlds began. The slain Lamb before the worlds began is an instance of it. It is the face upon which heaven works with the earth. Not merely a natural world but we are to see two worlds framed by the earth. One is the unseen Will powered by Wisdom and holiness of the word and the other made to earth. Heb.11,3 explains this interaction. In the Parable of the dragnet we have word wide web of dropped from heaven. This net is power of his word upholding all things (Heb.1,3)
God had prepared a great fish
"Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. This is what was provided for in the Covenant "And God created great whales."(1. 21) God commanded and it was done so the body is 'after our likeness' even as lamb or cattle of the field. In his Son all these are sanctified by 'thy word, which is truth. By the same token the ark of Noah is a body and Noah built it as commanded of God. Sign of Jonah is the death and resurrection of the Son for which the whate served as a vehicle for the word of God. It is not natural world we are talking about but a world made new. The glorious liberty of the sons must deliver them from the bondage of corruption.. What was the purpose of giving the number population of Nineveh and cattle in the last line of the book of Jonah? "and also much cattle? Man and his livelihood as one. Salvation of Nineveh depended on Jonah who is set down in the narrative as the double for the Son of man. Likewise the great fish and the ark of Noah are things 'after our likeness. it is thus a dragnet id made up. works connecting one another so the will of the Father is fulfilled. Parable of the dragnet.
I have said I disagree with dispensationalism.
When you say I am "driving home" my viewpoint, isn't that what you do with your dispensational viewpoints? You have done this many times but I have never spoken of you as you have spoken of me. I have not told you how wrong you are. I have not told you how you do not understand what you are talking about in regards to a specific topic. I have not told you that you do not know rightly about dispensationalism as you have said that I do not know rightly what Reformed/Covenant theology teaches.
I am not upset at all in this process of discussing with others and you. Perhaps you are, but you will have to let me know if this is true of not. I won't tell you what you are feeling emotionally and I hope that in the future you will refrain from telling me how I am feeling emotionally. I think this is fair.
As I have said before to you-there is a difference between not agreeing with a viewpoint-such as dispensationalism- as you pointed out-and attacking it. I do not believe I have attacked dispensationalism. I have stated that I disagree with it. There is a difference. And, yes, it is absolutely OK if I say I disagree with tenets of dispensationalism I have addressed, just as I think it is absolutely OK if you disagree with tenets of Reformed/Covenant theology on this forum. I see no problem with this point.
And lastly, you end your post by labeling me a heretic and anti-semitic. These are really inflammatory and flagrant accusations.
I do not deserve to be called such just because I don't follow you doctrines or thinking. I know who I am in Christ as you know yourself. I would never slander you as you do to me.
Even so, If you wish to continue to explain your thoughts to me, I will read what you write and give it consideration as I always do. I may or may not respond. As I said in my last comment, I prefer to not continue in this conversation because of how you mis-treat me. It is not good for you.
You said you went through Galatians and Romans as you did because it clearly shows there is but one people of God throughout time.
Gigi what you presented in Galatians is not about "a people to God"
Galatians speaks ofa right relationship with God comes through faith in Jesus Christ, not by following the law.
Gigi the entire Bible speaks of Israel and the Church as two separate people and two people of God.
That's why I presented you Matthew 25:33-40.
There is the sheep on his right hand.
There is the goats on the left.
and there is "one of the least of these my brethren!
Those on his right hand, (The Sheep) is a people of God! He tells them "Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Gigi that's one! These are the tribulation saints.
There are those he call "the least of these my brethren! Israel! Gigi that's two!
And the Church is not in this group because this is during the Great Tribulation period and they have already been raptured.
Gigi this would make two people of God presented here in Matthew 25.
It would make three if the Church was included.
You said I mischaracterize you and denigrate you openly.
Gigi I pointed out you misrepresented those scriptures in Galatians when you tried to drive home your point.
Those scriptures you presented was clearly far off topic in regards to this debate.
Gigi you often willingly attack dispensationalists views and you feel that's ok.
And it is ok if you believe they are incorrect.
But you misrepresent scripture often in your arguments and get upset when you are called out on it.
I will leave this conversation with you but I will touch on some things you said in an earlier post and show why I say you are representing a heresy that misrepresent God and is antisemitic.
Good night and God bless.
It is unfortunate that your daughter's fiance oopsed on the photo shoot.
I will pray for God to help them to overcome the disappointment and mistake to go on to a wonderful, beautiful, engagement phot shoot with great pictures to share with the ones they love.
Please remind both of them that in any marriage, even godly ones, there will be so much bigger things spouses will experience and need to forgive and move past things that hurt or misunderstand, or are mistakes.
We have been married 46 years and there have been plenty of matters like this, but we are committed to having a loving, forgiving marriage with the knowledge that neither is perfect or will ever be the perfect person for the other. But we are given to one another by God to grow us in godliness, love, and fruits of the Holy Spirit within a relationship we freely chose and have committed ourselves to for life.
We know that we HAVE to work things out and bear with each other in our sinfulness, be quick to forgive, not keep a record of wrongs, and be patient, looking out for the best of the other in how we decide to react to their failings.
May God bless these two people with love for Him above all else and healthy, giving love for one another. May their marriage be strong, built on communion in prayer, Bible study, always with compassion for the other and hope for God's work that will be done in them throughout their marriage.
n yes Gods ways, who can know them
he said 'Just as the clouds are above you so are my ways from yours' ha
another good one you said rather be a human than a sinning angel, lol oh my gosh
alot of good points there.. another thought on the victim deth deal is those 2 words go hand in hand
wheres theres one theres the other. its a matter for evry human
does death bring about Life thru Jesus
or does it bring more death from the dvl
evryones Freewill choice
Hold onto your faith, keep it by your side.and dont let go..
Amen to your closing comments to the Father

"Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female./"Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female;"
The Law of the Spirit sets God a Spirit in terms of Man and it is Father Son relation where the Word is a sound as well as a sign. The Lamb slain is an emblem in the divine Min. Thus the Law of God makes the Lamb of God as valid as throne of the Lamb which establishes the Son as the fulfilment of the Will. Before we consider the fowls in the air or beasts of the field, let us understand why the Spirit is repeating both species as the male and the female' It is with a particular reason. They were blessed by God in his Son. God as Power principle and female correspondingly Wisdom principle exist eternally in his godhead. Both taken together make up the holiness of God. So the Spirit expressly tells StPeter not call His creation what is cleansed by him as common or unclean.
Reconciliation of heaven and earth in Jesus Christ brings Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, to cite but one example. Man is created in our image and after our likeness consequently bring the weal of His creation under his stewardship. Curiously enough the book of Jonah ends with this verse,"And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?"( Jonah 4.11) Notice here the people are counted in terms of 120. (Gen.6.3) In tresspass offering man is to add one fifth value thereof because the man and his ox is counted as one. Also "But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation."(Lev.27.13)
If anyman is in Christ he is a new creation. It does not alter the Covenant. Man is a trustee of His creation which 'Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption.'(Rom.8.21)
Just thinking on your post and came to these thoughts.
Satan devised sin in his own heart when evil did not exist. He will not be redeemed.
Eve was tempted by Satan. She did not devise sin in her own heart. The temptation to disobey came from without. With this temptation, evil arose within her and she sinned. She chose to disobey and therefore is culpable for her sin. Adam also, was tempted to eat by Eve, and evil arose within him and he sinned, disobeying what God had commanded of him. He was culpable for his own choice to disobey God.
Both Adam and Eve, thought made without sin, freely chose to give into the temptation and the influence of evil the tempter posed to them. So, in some sense they were a victim of the tempter's evil wiles, yet, they freely chose to disobey, so they also became sinful by their own volition. However, God offered redemption to Adam and Eve and all of their descendants with the promise of the Savior in Gen. 3:16. God bestowed mercy to humans, most likely due to the evil work of Satan upon them. But in Satan and his angels case, God did not bestow mercy. To me, God's workings and will in all of this is still difficult to comprehend wholly, but we can know that nothing happens without God's knowledge and also in accordance to His purpose and plan, which is good and just and righteous.
I am glad I am not an angel who sinned. Rather, a human made to receive redemption though Jesus and His salvific work which flowed from the mercy and grace of God. God's justice was poured out on Jesus for us, and now we are justified before God through faith in Jesus, in His perfect life, His agonizing atonement in His voluntary death for the people given to Him by the
Father.
So I shout out "Hallelujah, Praise to the Lord God Almighty who saved me, a broken and corrupted sinner who needed Him before I came to faith and every moment since. His blood bought redemption came to me because of His mercy, grace, and election!

Thank you for sharing this deep reflection. It's a powerful reminder of how all scripture connects to reveal the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
For those interested in exploring more on how we can seek and respond to God's presence in our daily lives, you can find resources at calgaryprayertimes
Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female;to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth."
This phrase'to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth present us literally a face, meaning the working relationship between God and His creation. Thus Cain tells God, "Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid;"(4.14) Here is yet another,"and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God."(3.8) Presence of God is the face intended in our fellowship with God, The word of God sent is 'the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.'. (2 Cor.4.6) This is the gory of God and by which word is defined as seed. When we receive Jesus Christ as our saviour, we believe the Holy spirit has become indwelling and guiding us. The same promise we have guiding us with regards to the fruit bearing trees with seed in itself "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God."(1 Pe.1.23)
God separated the dry land from seas and named the earth, or rather sanctified it. It was in his Son so the day Three has direct bearing on all life forms on the day Five, The fowls of the air are fixed by sevens meaning they are intermediary between heaven and the earth." The angel of the Lord, all ministering angels sent forth for heirs of salvation because of the word sent forth has an emblem which we read,"The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters". Accordingly when John the Baptist held eyes on Jesus,"And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him." Fowls in mid-air are manifestation of the word preserving the earth sanctified. So God has given them gifts which are lacking in sinful man. "Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming."(Jer.8.7)

Please correct this line in the second para:
"By interpreting the Covenant to mean what is a blatant life what has imposter churches achieved till date? The worldly church has come under a great delusion."
as
'By interpreting the Covenant to mean what is a blatant lie what has imposter churches achieved till date? The worldly church has come under a great delusion."
The way I see it, is that man is very prone to set rules for others to meticulously follow, whereas the Lord sees each heart, their needs, their struggles and accepts us as we are at in our earthly pilgrimage, with our desire to follow Him and please Him with our lives. So maybe you were taught that doing anything that is not concerned with spiritual activities or being of assistance to others on the Lord's Day must be avoided at all costs, and so you're seeking other advice. And yes, on a Site as this, you can gain both knowledge and fellowship around God's Word, hearing and appreciating different people's understanding of biblical teaching. I hope you are able to attend a good Bible-believing Fellowship, so believers there can share in your life (and you in theirs), and be of help and counsel as needed.
May the Lord reveal more of Himself and His Will for you as you spend that quality time with Him & His Word, guiding you in respect to home, the children and your work commitments. Every blessing.
Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,"
This commandment was given before the Law of Moses in which dietary restrictions are enjoined upon the Israelites. "For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law."( Rom 5.13; Acts 10.15) Elsewhere we have this verse, "What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common." The word sanctified life forms so on day Five in the Covenant God blesses them in Gen.1.22 and gives the man charge over them. Sin was in the world before the law and fall of man affected the life forms as well. "Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God."
Bondage of corruption was thrust upon them. The Covenant under the Law sets apart beasts that are not 'clean' by two. The two numbers come under the Word of God so'and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.' and because a body has been prepared for them in his Son. For this reason under the covenant the last three days are indivisible. God blessed the life forms whose deliverance from the bondage in turn is dependent on the man (male and female created he them) who is enjoined as a natural continuation of other provisions to enter into the God's rest. By interpreting the Covenant to mean what is a blatant life what has imposter churches achieved till date? The worldly church has come under a great delusion.
"Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female./Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth."
Here we understand that the 'great' flood was partial judgment. Heaven shalll interface with the earth, to which the face has spiritual significance.
Some are good at remembering names or another faces, and memory fails us often but it is passing. If today I can manage, it is good enough for me. Most fears that have had yesterday I find was unfounded. May God give you grace to which you are calle. He is faithful and He will do it,
I understand. I wake up early to have a conversation with God before I get everyone up. I talk to him as I get ready for work in the mornings. I find it is easier to have a conversation with him when I am the only one up or around. Im not as distracted that way.
I don't have many people I can go to for advice on this or even talk to for that matter. It is hard to share my thoughts or actions to people whom do not believe as I do. I have a co worker at work that I consider a friend, but her beliefs are a stark contrast to mine. Most of her beliefs contradict mine. No judgements toward her, I just believe differently. I suppose I am more old school. I was raised in a holiness church. Thats what alot of my family believe. Although I don't strictly wear skirts or have long hair, I still carry many of (if not all) of the spiritual beliefs. This forum is helpful and I find it refreshing to share my thoughts and questions with people who emphasize God as the main part of their life, as do I.
in this case persuasion was for deth n destruction
the act of beguilement didnt exactly make them victims until the result of it.
death is the worst thing that can happen any living being,so how could the first people to receive death penalty be not victims
what would be another word or title for that.truth is all humans are victims of what happened there starting with them.
if were all Not victims we would of Not needed a Savior, to be saved of what,to be saved redeemed of death
Jesus is referred to as a Spotless Victim, because he had to experince death. to save believers.
God said i Give to all a Blessing and a Curse, the blessing is life thru Jesus the curse of death thru the dvl, basically
one is incredibly wonderful n the other is incredibly horrible but all we can do is believe n hold on
do apologize to God an anyone who was offended bout what was said there, like mentioned jst from fresh battle with dvl.after battling often time 6 days a week for 15 yrs, start get a little flustered mad n start questioning things you picked up on partial intent n will soon ask this sight to remove it. i usual post encourage ment n not the opp.that what persuasion does similar to John in prison questioning who Jesus was after baptizing him, the power of persuasion.
Thanks again Gerald much appreciated n Thanks to Seek n meek think it was, hopefully he can see this
Have a good one
I actually have a proclivity for very fast typing and thinking and had hoped that showed that I was mentally sharp (as that has always been part of what they call attention deficit). I have always learned to adapt and accommodate my poor reading skills in my work experiences since college.
I have noticed in the last year more times at work when I forget what it was I was going to do next going to a different spot but in all fairness there is always juggling of several things at once; this doesn't seem to happen at home that often; at least not yet.
Other than reading and writing quickly I have committed the Word to my heart. What I've never been great at is rote memorization; and I'm a slow learner of new skills as my default role as it were.
I know the Lord is with me and whatever happens God will use it as a vehicle for spreading the Gospel.
The Spirit supercedes the mind and the gifts and callings are irrevocable.
