Also yes the anti christ is a real man that appears to have been slain and comes back to life , but it's a lie , probably never died .
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Wesley's Notes for John 5:17
5:17 My Father worketh until now, and I work - From the creation till now he hath been working without intermission. I do likewise. This is the proposition which is explained # John 5:19 |- 30, confirmed and vindicated in # John 5:31 and following verses|.
The first situation involved when one of our cooks was at a meeting and dressed with her hair different; and I remarked how she looked like she could be the daughter of the other cook. Once we started work she asked if I knew who she was and it took 45 seconds for it all to click after being off for our summer break (she has been here since about spring of last year).
Now some of this could be due to other issues; and coffee drinking; etc. which apparently is good for memory overall but can accelerate dementia. Of course if the Lord comes soon it won't matter anyway but since my Dad has the condition since I'm 61 it isn't impossible that I have early signs of something serious. I'm going to discuss this with my general physician soon; I am not going to draw too many conclusions at this point but of course prayer is appreciated. I am fortunate in general to be financially in a pretty good place but of course this would be a game changer.
I would also appreciate prayer for our church's yard sale tomorrow; the main reason it's going on is surplus stuff taking up space as it used to be a much larger denomination. There are old decorations and old CD's and the like; and we are going to put out Gospel pamphlets. I have to start very early tomorrow and help a friend of mine who thankfully is able to avail the use of my Pastor's truck to move his artwork (only about 5 pieces). My Bible study this AM reminded me that it is easy to lose focus on what is important as I purveyed the surrounding chapters in the verse of the day (if I remember correctly Matthew 11 and 12).
I do tend to have high blood sugar and that could be an issue as well; I have found out me and bread don't get along too well either.

That God turned a curse into a blessing by taking that curse upon himself is true but insider all the blood shed by man in his incessant wars even from the murder of Abel to the present day as a consequence of that disobedience . All the walls and towers that have gone up since the Tower of Babel into armed and fortified cities one against the other . Even up to the present day . The world is littered with the ruins and carcases of how many ' world orders'? Proving that man in of and by himself cannot bring a true a proper order to this world and every kingdom of it is founded upon bloodshed ,treachery ,murder and war including the Uk and if Great Britain turned out different it was only by the grace of God yet as a nation that has turned its back on God it is returning to its base form " For how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?
Adam was not a victim .
The last Adam was not a victim either though He is often portrayed as a pathetic mother fixated victim in many a graven image.
" No man taketh my life from me He said . I have power to lay it down and have piwer to take it up again .
The Love of God is no sentimental wish washy 'support' the Love of God His face like a flint to go to Jerusalem" swear great drops of blood to ensure He fulfilled the will of zGod as promised in the garden . Endured every stroke for with each stripe we wouid be healed . The chastisement of our peace was laid upon Him . It was not the nails that kept Him on the cross it was the Love of God fir our sakes and f that Sin might receive its mortal blow and the enemy of man's soul wouod be cast down .
For by one man's disobedience all die .
But by one man's obedience all shall live .
For is it not written " By one man's disobedience all die"?
God did not declare him innocent .
What have you done God saud have YOU eaten of the tree I told you not to?
When men sin they always get someone to sin with them and also blame everyone else but themselves .
Adams reply? " The woman thou gavest me.." it was yiur fault God ..
God did not see it that way for this is not a matter of opinion but of righteous judgement .
Then God dealt with Adam and while showing him mercy by giving him a covering of animal skins showed the consequences that flowed from his disobedience the first that the innocent dying for the guilty . For the animal had to be sacrificed to give them a covering . Is it not written " love covers a multitude of sin"?
Then Hod turned to Eve she in turn blamed the serpent but God found her guilty and showed what the consequences of her actions would be but still showed mercy by giving her a covering .
In the garden they had been blessed and had had free access to the tree of life . But now they were cast out of the garden and under a curse .
Then God turned to the serpent who said nothing being the instigator of it all .He was shown no mercy but was judged but was told that his inheritence was the dust of the earth and that his downfall in the end would be by another man born of a woman but not of Adams seed .
But thanks for pointing out the fact that in offering to Adam the forbidden fruit she in effect saud the devil spoke the truth and God lied fir look I'm not dead!
She propagated the lie of the serpent " ye shall not surely die"Thus changing the truth into a lie" For God saud " in the day ye eat of it you shall surely die " just by adfingb'not".
But man " looketh on the outward appearances God looks on the heart" Adam disobeyed God and obeyed his wife .
Stopped walking by faith and walked by sight .
So Adam sinned in a different way , he allowed eve to seduce him , not fulfilling his responsibilities as the leader . V15 For Adam was first formed , then eve . So both sinned in the end .
The last line, "God shall let fools get away with lies" Should be read as
"God shall not let fools get away with lies."
"And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days."
Here we have multiple of three so the judgment meted out to the earth under the heaven were pendent to the day decreed for his Son. The ark as a body has three stories and those abiding in Christ by faith observe the body, spiirit and soul dedicated to the Lord. So observing Jubilee for a believer is total sanctification or none at all. Ananaias and Sapphira shows us the deceit practised by those who serve both God and mammon. "But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?/Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God."( Acts 5.3-4) The Spirit incorporated this incident as to the pious humbug that false teachers played in the time of Jesus in order to elicit praise of men.One midguided young man played the fool trying to be a spokesmen for the jackals and paid for his folly. He is the Theudas of our time. "Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought." The number Four refers to the word perverted by one for his pwn ends. It is thus the buzzword 'Je susis Charlie Hebdo' now appears, a variant of it in the While evangelical circles. As Gamaliel said,"Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:"
Whatever cuts into the glory of God shall be struck down instantly without remedy and you shall hear such sudden reversal for those who lay their hopes in man. The Angel of the Lord struck Herod and we are yet hear news that makes you ears tingle. God is not mockedbrethre, Who made the mouth of man but God. God shall let fools get away with lies
"
It was a golden opportunity for Paul to tell them that Sunday is the Lords day etc . Yet Sunday can no where be found in the whole chapter. All Jews , The Holy Spirit , the Gentiles acknowledge the Sabbath as it is the Lords day , by practice . Thanks for your consideration.
In Matthew 16:16- And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
(the Son of the living God.) This is interpreted Jesus is God. Why this is important? I will come back to that.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church.
Jesus is telling Peter "on this basis (Jesus being God) will set the cornerstone for the foundation that the Church will be built on.
Hebrews 9:22-24 reads "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Jesus was the only perfect sacrifice that could present himself as that perfect Lamb from God that could atone for our sins.
Peter says in Acts 4:11-12 "This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Jesus wasn't a descendent from Adam where he carried sin in the flesh as all of man kind.
He was brought foward by the Spirit of God. Matthew 1:20-21.
Hebrews 2:14 reads "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Listen to Jesus in John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I hope this helps
2 Corinthians 6:10
"As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things."

Here we shall consider the significance of day Three in the covenant. "The body of the ark is made of gopher wood. This explains why God commanded "And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so."(v.9) In harmony with the light was good and the Law thus settles the point, God divided light from darkness. God's judgment thereafter is ever in terms of day and night. The two 'great' lights to rule day and night respectively explains this verse."And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights."(7.12) God does not judge anyone but has left all judgment to his Son. Within the Ark the same separation between the dy land and seas is maintained. Blessings under the covenant are not curtailed the dry land or the Earth supplied to their needs,"And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them." (6.21)
While the rain finished off the wicked from under the heaven what does it signify for those whom God found righteous. Mercy is it not? Without faith what is the covenant of seven days?"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.:(Heb.11.7)
Those who refused to enter into God's rest were damned. Noah entered into the God's rest and his faith condemned the world. Number Six is in the relation of the breadth of the srk to its length. 50x300 cubits. Multiples of three makes Noah relate to his own generation. In his Son he 'became the heir of the righteousness which is by faith.'
Height of the ark is 3x10 is abiding life of the righteous in his Son. "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Rom.8.1-2)
By all means, do whatever is necessary for you to do on the Sunday, since that is the only day you have off, but I would urge you to lay time aside to attend your Church Fellowship and the reading of God's Word. I know it's not easy with two kids plus working full-time, but the Lord will make a way for this to happen when you put Him first. As you would never neglect your children and giving them a clean home to live in, so you should find the time also for the Lord and prayer, even in those quiet hours when the children are asleep. May the Lord guide you and help you in this matter.
And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits."
God is particular as to the ark as he was with the tabernacle in the wilderness. Tabernacle of God among man has only single fit which is in his Son. "The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." God deals with sinful world, which is specifically made distinct by this verse,"And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die."(v.17)
'From under heaven' and what are the thoughts of all flesh? In v.6 we read," every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." Is not our own times a proof of it?
The covenant in seven days works continually so separation of light from darkness is the only criteria where one should look for the body of Christ. In this forum we have debate between dispensationalism and Covenant theology both dubious merchandise and the point contention is 'who is more honest? How believers are sidetracked because they perish for want of vision. It is what the Law of the Spirit has established in the first two chapters of the book of Genesis. God has set apart the sanctified ones each group tagged with 144,000. The mid-air is where the tabernacle of God among men shall be installed. Judgment of the world by great flood is partial.
Firstly Covenant is about God blessing His creation in his Son. Considering Noah as a double for the Son we have the ark as a microcosm of the kingdom of his dear Son. "And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth."(Gen.1.22) Noah is a steward for the creatures as Adam was. Breadth 5x10 in cubits relate to the length in cubits.
He is the human Father of all Mankind and gets the respect of a floor mat, when was the last time scene a sculpture or famous painting of Adam. or credit for being the first and every persons Great Grandfather
with some regret, evidence to substantiate my claim, when mr trickster who is known for tempting.

Thank God tho , Know one can turn a big mess into something more Beautiful than what God can
the focal point of this message is to maintain Adams innocence; he was a victim and victim's are innocent for the most part
I as responding to Lbooth's post about there being two people of God -Israel being earthly and the Church being heavenly. That is why I went through Galatians and Romans as I did because it clearly shows there is but one people of God throughout time.
I am not frustrated at all in this conversation.
However, I wish to exit this one with you because of the way you mischaracterize me and denigrate me openly. This has happened with you repeatedly, so when you fall back to this in a conversation I will exit the conversation with you.
Thank you for that explanation. It makes more sense now. I was asking for my own benefit. I have two small children and I work full time. It seems the only day I can find to deep clean my house is on Sundays.
When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness we not that He didn't dispute Satan when offered all the kingdoms of this world. It had to be so as to Satan's temporary domain over these things or it wouldn't have been a temptation at all. Of course he was totally defeated after probably anticipating Christ was defeated on the cross; only to have the resurrection 3 days later. The true victory happened the second Jesus drew His last breath on the cross when He said "it is finished."
Ultimately; despite almost wiping out all of mankind numerous times in history our enemy is in a defeated position. His complete failure is demonstrated in the fact that it is impossible for even one soul that he has worked so hard to attempt to keep in darkness can be held back from salvation if God so chooses to reveal Himself to them through His Son and of course through the power of the Holy Spirit. Once the statement in John 14:23 comes to pass the Godhead lives within a person and sin no longer can prevent what Romans describes as sancrification and glorification ( Romans 8:30). The process of a born again soul inevitably heads toward this eternal heavenly state and there isn't anything the enemy can do to change that.
We of course are not ignorant of his schemes; and naturally the accuser will continue to find ways to attack us at every opportunity. It is clear though that today even with the wickedness of men at unprecidented levels we see more and more people detransitioning; for instance and coming out of the occult; drugs; and other deviant behaviors as God clearly calls them and works in their lives. It seems we see less of those who we may consider less controversial these days coming to faith and that no doubt is in no small way related to the watered down Gospel today which won't press people to confront their own sick hearts ( Jeremiah 17:9); and desperate need as Jude says to be taken out of the fire.
Yes even nice people need God.
I considered this concept and perhaps gave a fleeting commentary a couple years back on this site in regard specifically to the Ezekiel 38 war and how much was going to happen because of the weapons of warfare man possesses and how much is direct divine judgment by God and natural phenomenon such as volcanism; earthquakes and even the great torrent and hailstorm God directs on His enemies. I can certainly see how a sort of hybrid attack could occur with this war because that would be a way the enemy could get in the gate; if they literally used horses and old style equipment a mountain attack down into a plain could certainly entertain an element of surprise.
I realize there are many verses which certainly could indicate nuclear war; particularly in the pestilence for instance that could occur as a result of either radiological or biological weaponry in the 2nd through 4th Seal judgments and the destruction of Babylon the Great which is destroyed by fire in one hour. This sounds like a directed attack; but a lot of other stuff even the trumpet judgment where a third of earth is wiped out seems to result directly from demonic hordes. Armageddon could start out that way also (with the Ezekiel 38 and perhaps other peripheral events concurrent events or things leading up to it). Overall; however we have to keep in mind that God has a specific series of judgments; and in the Ezekiel 38 war whenever the exact timing of it is results in no uncertain terms in the enemies KNOWING who God truly is.
I have suggested that the 1/6 who survive it could be instrumental in seeing the return of children of exile by kings of the earth quoted in Isaiah. If this involves Russia and associated nations it means more may survive from there than anywhere else as it appears some make it into the Millennium. Those in Armageddon no doubt in the valley of Meddigo have taken the mark; and are drawn there for total destruction.
Hosea did this and not only that had to pay to get her back after going astray. We also have the lineage of Christ from Rahab known as "the harlot" yet is included in the Hebrews 11 section often colloquially quoted as the "hall of saints". There is yet another incident where Tamar apparently was trying to keep the lineage going so dressed as a harlot and there are other like examples in scripture. The bigger picture is israel and it's spiritual infidelity; but we also see how God can use anyone (He also used Ruth a Gentile who kept the family going with the concept of the "kinsman redeemer" with Boaz.
As to the second question let me quote from Zechariah 11:17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened. There are other passages that show that this indeed is the Antichrist seen in Revelation 12 or the Beast that rises from the sea along with his counterpart; the false prophet from the land.
I am a premillenial as well a pretribulation rapture believer (with some further details I won't get into now). The event therefore shouldn't be something we will see; however we could see someone perhaps ahead of the confirming of the covenant; likely initiated with the Abraham accords but expanded and enforced. It would appear that is the first seal of Revelation; and it is in the trumpets when the 2 prophets are killed and there are 2 more woes (likely right before the sixth trumpet); as at that time there will be an appearance of resurrection of Antichrist who will probably offer immortality to the world and convince everyone their stuggle with the 3 and a half years the 2 prophets judged the earth with is over and that he came from the bottomless pit (I suggest that Apollyon then possesses him).
A lot to grasp for now. I can get into more at a later time.
Agape
Also,
Does The New Testament tell us that the anti-Christ will appear to pass away, assassinated maybe, but come back to life? That's how we know he's the anti-Christ?
Thank you,
Kathy
I'm calm as always but honest in what I see in what you bring scripturally.
Gigi you said It seems to you that I want to discuss what will happen when Jesus returns and you do not want to talk about that at this time and you did not realize that this was the narrow focus of this thread.
Gigi you have been responding with pages to this very topic!
(Heavenly calling to the Church and The promised future Kingdom to Israel. (The Gospel of the kingdom!
Those scriptures you presented has nothing to do with that!
I'm sorry if you are frustrated but it doesnt seem like you represent either belief and how they differ well.
In other words it seems like you study Covenant Theology to represent it to combat Dispensationalism but you don't quite understand it.
I don't study Dispensationalism to become one.
I'm a Dispensationalist because I believe the Promises to Israel will be fulfilled to Israel in a literal Millennium here on earth after the Church is raptured.
Those covenants and countless Promises in the OT is to be literally fulfilled to Israel and not the Church.
I believe in a literal 1,000-year earthly reign of Christ here on earth.
We have been expressing this for atleast a month, and you are saying you didn't know that?
Gigi you said scripture explicitly teaches God has one people and that is the Church.
How many groups of people do you see here in Matthew 25:31-40 and who are they?
There's the sheep on his right hand,
There's the goats on the left.
and there's "these my brethren"
Gigi please tell me who are these three groups of people.
Blessings.
Please know that I am very calm in all of this discussion. if you are not, then I hope you will come to such a place.
It seems to me that you want to discuss what will happen when Jesus returns. I do not want to talk about that at this time. I did not realize that this was the narrow focus of this thread.
If you wish to speak your mind on the eschaton, I welcome that, but I don't wish to discuss it back and forth with you at this time.
It seems to me whenever we get in discussions along these lines, you default to telling me how I am wrong, how my knowledge of certain topics are wrong and how I err in interpreting Scripture.
I just encourage you to read up on Covenant Theology as I continue to do as well as on Dispensational Theology. I have spoken here of what I have been reading pertaining to your segway into Replacement Theology and I think I have accurately represented how Covenant/Reformed Theology views Replacement Theology.
If I have misrepresented dispensational theology, please let me know and refer me to resources that I can check into because I don't think it is wise to just go by what I or you say here.
I need to head out to swimming lessons for Rosie soon, so I have to get her fed and cleaned up.
Have a good evening, S. Spencer.
Pt. 4
Romans 11 nowhere says that ungrafted Israelites will be among the saved of vs. 26. It is with Gentile believers and Israelite believers that God causes the two to be one new man which is the household of God ( Eph. 2:11-19; Gal 3:28-29).
It is my hope and prayers that in this generation, God will bring a multitude of Jews into the household of God by faith in Jesus, to become members of this "one new man", the one and only household of God, the true Israel.
These are my understandings from Scripture. I believe that the NT interprets the OT and therefore, what was promised as earthly and fleshly blessings to Israel in the OT is described as salvation and eternal life, spiritual blessings in the NT, with the OT earthly promises being the type and the NT re-interpreting of these same promises being the antitype, the fulfillment.
Blessings to you Gerald. I only responded to you because you posted to me. I want to be thorough in describing my understanding because it is too easy to get into arguments over "sound bytes" of doctrine, which I want to avoid. I welcome your replies.
