Jesus said a man must be born again , yet Jesus was not born again , he was born once in Bethlehem and needed not to be born again , because he was and is the Son of God .

Jesus had access to the father by his birth of the Father and also Mary . This is how he can say he is the door to God , and no man can come to God but through him . He and his father are one in that way . But the disciple and others can not understand this . Jesus death on the cross for sins past made the way possible to approach God , the first step , Jesus is the door to God for all men because of his relationship to God . No sin ever between Jesus and God .

I suppose there is so much that could be said . But when you know Jesus and how he brings you to God it's not hard to understand.It makes more sense when experiencing coming to God through Jesus .

Emily Abrams, Spencer is right. You can only be confident in your own relationship/experience with God, and other people in theirs. If you trust Christ to have paid for all your sins, what's left? It is hard for a sinner to accept the grace of God, that is, you do nothing to earn salvation, but you are led of God's spirit to love him in return by yielding to his leading you to make good choices. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance(self control): against such there is no law." Galatians 5:22&23 For as long as a believer is on this Earth, their character is being changed to a likeness of Christ. The more often you cooperate, the farther you go in the changes, despite the old nature which you will not lose until the body dies.

More often than not, believers can point to a time where God made himself known to them as their Savior. Something like a before and after situation. The title of savior becomes something more than just a teaching, but very personal, to you for you, forever.

Comments by Alex about the parable of the sower and his precious seed the living Words of God. Whenever ya read about the sower and his seed remember that great PROMISE that God the FATHER made to Christ his SON. He wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven and God was so passionate about this Promise that he swore by his very self and that is y we have the parable of the sower and his seed. Via this precious seed Christ will be multiplied as the stars of heaven, Its God himself that wants a posterity as Christ was the 1st born of many brethren. thats y Jesus said to whom the word came it made them Gods which is the H.G. The Israel of God. Now unto abraham and his seed was the PROMISE made but he says not unto seeds plural ( natural israel ) but unto 1 seed which is CHRIST the Israel of God, thus its Christ that is gonna be multiplied as the stars of heaven thus the sower and his precious seed thus there is a baby Christ in our near future, as Jesus said the good seed are the children of the Kingdom ( the babes and sucklings ) that are gonna be born in US SINNERS. our fruit unto God etc. B/C of that good seed Christ is gonna be born in US SINNERS Remember the field is the world where that good seed will be sown . Thats y Jesus refers to the H.G as the Children of Promise, Behold me and the Children the lord has given ME. The Promise was that Christ wd be multiplied as stars of heaven. And the H.G. fulfils that Promise as he is the results of our new birth via the seed of Christ the CHILD OF Promise. Long ago Isaiah said a lil CHILD was gonna lead us and he refers to them as the weaned child and the sucking child they will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain. In 1 Corinthians 13:8-13, the Apostle Paul speaks about the relatively short life span of the spiritual gifts, whether prophecies, other tongues, knowledge, etc - gifts that will one day be superseded by 'perfection'. All that the Church has been given has been for its establishment & growth, but we have to confess, the full & complete expression of those gifts has never been fully realized. In the light of Divine Love, these other things will one day become obsolete - Love alone will always stand true & lasting.

In verse 12, Paul speaks about our vision being limited & lacking clarity, as one from those early days looking at himself in an unrefined mirror. But the day will come, says Paul, when our vision & understanding will no longer be limited but clear as our understanding of all things will be made perfect or complete. When will that time be? This is where commentators may differ: suggestions of the complete Word of God given to us (we know more by it now than the early Church which only had the OT Scriptures); others have suggested that when we see Jesus or more likely when we're lifted up from this earthly limiting plane, into the heavenly, when all knowledge of all things will be ours: "then shall I know even as also I am known (by Jesus)."

Dahg Melek, "God's 'Grace' is a specific period of time to make right that which has been wrong. It is not an indefinite, never ceasing thing in which we can continue to do what we have always done and there be no judgement." Your specific time frame is relative to our human station and responsibility. That is a narrow and limited definition of grace, that does not encompass the grace of God. To limit God's grace, is to limit God, which never or ever is possible. Only creation is limited to time specific. To contrast grace to judgement, you must first minimize both in your thinking, hence, the narrow and limited view you present. Both grace and judgement are everpresent qualities of God.

morning how relevent is the tieth today, the bible said we should tieth so that the should be food in the storehouse now where is the store house? the book of Nehemiah show us how the church was ran . The pastors were annointed now the pastors are taking the post as a career our pastors are taking the tieth for self enrichment where else ,the bible is against selfishness us pEOples money meant for GOD differently from the word of God .This make Gods children to make mistake by not paying tieth.

Rick, I believe that the early Church had elevated Jesus Christ to the "level of God". We might not see it in their writings as the Bible doesn't reveal what the Church actually preached to Christians, but shows us what the apostles taught them or on what issues they were taken to task over. So assuming that what the apostles believed & taught through their epistles, we have many Scriptures that confirm that the Godhead includes Jesus His Son.

Some of them are: 1 Corinthians 8:6; Colossians 1:15-17; Colossians 2:9; 1 John 5:7; Philippians 2:5-8.

But if you're referring to the early Church after the close of the apostolic era, then I can send you some quotes from the likes of Ignatius, Polycarp, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Tertullian, etc. So this teaching on the Trinity is not something recent as we are led to believe or from the RCC, but the firm belief of the apostles, of the apostolic Church & the Church in the 3rd Century onwards. You may believe that Jesus was perfect in every way securing our salvation through a perfect Sacrifice, but if He wasn't God in the flesh, then our salvation remains on shaky ground: it had to be God Who gave up His Life for us in demonstration of that pure Divine Love - the provision of any other 'perfect Sacrifice', whether human or animal by God is no demonstration of Divine Love - only of a Divine Provision which could necessitate the need for further sacrifices (as was done in the OT). Jesus was the one & only Sacrifice that could fix man's inherent problem - if He failed, there would remain no other sacrifice available for God to give us.

Can I assume that you also believe that, with God's created (human) sperm, he used Mary's ovum to form this new Man? Or is there another possibility in your mind?

If so, what are the implications for the transmission of the sin nature to Jesus, given that a human seed (which carries the fallen nature) is passed onto children? Of course, some do believe that Jesus had a sin nature & the occasion of temptation by Satan was to cause Jesus to succumb to that nature & become a sinner & hence a failure to be a Redeemer. But I'm not sure of your position, since you believe that a fusing of a Divine Seed & a human seed was involved.

This is regards to Matthew 27:46 & Psalm 22:1. Where did you learn this interpretation from as both the Gospel & the Psalm agree with each other?

Could it not be that in His Humanity, Jesus in agony cried out to His Father longing for that intimacy which He had before, but that the Father for the purpose of not taking away from the full impact of this Sacrifice, remained aloof & quiet. This would have been absolutely exceptional, extraordinary & devastating as Jesus always enjoyed intimacy with the Father, but now the Father was suddenly silent at a time that His Son needed Him most. I might be wrong with this understanding - how do you see it?

This faith and works thing comes up a lot over the years...... I do know one particular verse that says:

Faith without works is dead....... food for thought for sure. Of course then what is works...?

Works can be simply doing Gods word of something rather physical. Giving something to the poor can be works.

Getting up early after working late and going to church on Sunday morning can be works.

Of course works without faith --- would be very hard to have I suspect. An athiest can have works but without faith.

I am leaning about Rapture these last two Sundays during Christians Education. Today we read 1 Thessalonians chapter 4:13 And question was what does the word asleep mean. I responsed by saying. Someone being in Sin without no hope. Answer was asleep means died already of the body and We will be caught up on the cloud. So confused. I know the word I was stumped when ask. Hezekiah put everything in order, as the people would return to God. Everything was in order with the Levite's, priests, and hundreds of burnt offerings. Through all this, nothing is mentioned of the Ark of the Covenant and the mercy seat. Am I missing something here? Had the Ark of God been taken somewhere? The chapter says they saw God and then we have people in the comments saying no they did not because seeing him means they will not survive. Then why would the book say that?

No one here knows for sure. All we have are the words spoken from testimony. We need to stop over analyzing and making further confusion.

Christ came to save the world from sin and death. In a the world you so heartily proclaim, is it not noteworthy to proclaim the salvation that is in the body of Christ. The signs of the times, you need not declare, all you have to do is look into the children's eyes. When a Christ centered lover of the gospel comes around Satan and all his angels flee! Reconciliation may be possible only if we live in the hope of his salvation. We do not know, nor the angels ,when the day shall be. Seems , the biggest problem I see, is that the church does not tell the whole story. It is like , they want you to keep coming back for more! Buy more books , make one think his works are more important then Jesus words!

God is talking about Israel in this verse, when he says he will heal their land.

If we believe that Jesus is the Son of God it's because God enables us to do that . It's not a mental convent only .

Many just can not understand that being the Son of God means that he comes from God and is of God and not of this world in a spiritual way , yet he was a true man by virgin birth . He was empowered by God in a way that was intimate and beyond any mans knowing of before . He demonstrated it so often , like walking on water , calming storms , going through walls , etc etc
