How would you explain these couple of verses from the book of Revelation if God the Father was also Jesus Christ? Which is what I think you perceive.

3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne.

To denote God Almighty is on the throne here:

4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

Here that the Lamb came and took the scroll from God Almighty:

5:1 And I saw in the right hand of HIM that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

5:7 And HE came and took the book out of the right hand of HIM that sat upon the throne.

God Almighty is my Perfect Holy Father and Jesus Christ is my Lord and Perfect Brother. Saying they are ONE(which may confuse some people) is not of this world here below. It is from above. If people have a hard time understanding it that's ok. As someone else stated that understanding everything is not what is important. Faith and Trust in the Lord is important.

    Peace

Jesus says that we will live in Heaven if we gladly get executed for him.

. . . Does that mean that we actually have to get persecuted?

I read a verse in the King James Bible that I am unable to find. It was in the old testament. It referred to children having an angel watching over them, but I don't believe the word angel was used.

Chris some people love to argue and that is about all they care for. There are some scriptures that agree with both if we use only chosen scriptures. But I am interested in getting people born again- Jesus said you must be born again. Changed into a new creature old things passed away. Stop lying, stealing, adultery, fornicating, all unrighteousness- follow peace with all men and Holiness without which No man shall see the Lord.

God tells Isaac that he will multiple his seed, Genesis 26:3 "Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; " Genesis 26:4 "And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;"

God is God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; Exodus 3:6 "Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God."

Exodus 3:13 "And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?"

Exodus 3:14 "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." Exodus 3:15 "And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations."

Matthew 1:18 "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost." Matthew 1:20 "But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost." Matthew 1:21 "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."

Why are errors in Christianity so important? Can we live with them ? Put errors in a computer and see how it works , to much error and it crashes.

There are no excuses for errors . The Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth , the word of God promises this .

Errors are human and from the devil originally.

I recommend the bible only .

It seems clear to me now that the Vatican City in Italy is the city did that mystery Babylon dwells in. This is significant today because there is reports that the special forces of the United States took out the lights and Vatican City after thet Capitol Hill laptops were confiscated on January 6th 2020.

Mystery Babylon is all over the world and it's spirit is preventing people from coming to the knowledge of the truth.

I am so vigilant to prt that comes from this wicked and evil city comes from this wicked and evil city it stopped.

Comments by Alex about Exodus 3 v 15 God told Moses that his name was Abraham Issac and Jacob and my memorial to ALL generations, God was plainly telling Moses that his Kingdom was a type of Abraham Issac and Jacob that was gonna be multiplied as the stars of heaven BUT THAT HIS Kingdom was 3 Just as Abraham Issac and Jacob were 3 but wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven . Thus an Israel of God wd be on the horizon. That was the great Promise when God swore by his very self that CHRIST a type of Issac that was offered up wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven thus the sower and his precious seed the word, resulting in an ISRAEL OF GOD which answers to the Woman in rev. 12 and her seed which are spirits thats y Jesus said that which is born of the spirit is spirts thats the H.G. the children of Promise the multiplication of Christ in US SINNERS ,i.e our heavenly birth via his seed THUS GODS GRANSONS, th babes and the sucklings Jesus spoke of that wd praise God perfectly. They are Gods Gransons being they are the CHILDREN OF JESUS, Its JESUS that sows that good seed IN US resulting in the birth of the H.G. IN US. Remember his breath was his word thus his seed thus Jesus is the father of the H.G. They don't call him the bridegroom for nothin he has a seed to sow in humanity. Remember that great Promise I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven. Jesus is gonna multiply himself in US with his precious seed the WORD . My lil children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you which is the H.G th CHild of PROMISE , THAT ISRAEL OF GOD VIA THE SEED OF Christ. Gods gransons. The weaned Child and the sucking Children that is gonna lead us all into all truth that isaiah 11 tells us of in that last day. Thus there is a baby Christ in our future, thats y he always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN which is mans kinds fruit unto God the children of PROMISE TH H.G. The woman in Rev. 12 is the direct result of the sower and his seed a baby Christ in US.

When Paul was struck down on the road to Damascus, He received the powerful mercy of God. This has happened to me, all my sins were ever before me, literally making me fall down before Him! I could not resist Him. So overwhelming power! Now , I have been given, what an apostle would need or ask for! What lies ahead I do not know, as always, waiting on Him!

Comments by Alex to Steven S. about the Davidic Kingdom. Steven you say that Jesse was not any part of the Davidic Kingdom when Isaiah 11 says there shall come a rod out of the stem of Jesse which was David and a branch shall come out of his roots a man of much wisdom thats Solomon . But all of this is symbolic of the branch that will come out of the Father which is Christ the son and the branch that comes out of the DAVID the son was Solomon the Granson that God allowed to build the GREAT TEMPLE Symbolic of the Kingdom of God that the H.G. builds in our hearts . God wd not allow David the son to build that great temple but only Solomon the Granson . Which implies there is gonna be an Israel OF God via the seed of the H.G. WHICH IS REGENERATION OF THE H.G. Remember Jesus said the Kingdom is gonna be with in you, This cd not happen without the seed of Christ the word of God as Jesus said the good seed is the WORD of the Kingdom . Thats what the trinity really is FATHER SON AND GRANSON Thats y God told Moses that his NAME WAS ABRAHAM ISSAC AND JACOB. Which was father son and granson . Without this Abrahamic trinity there CD NOT have been a NATION OF ISREAL. Likewise without this heavenly trinity there can not be an ISRAEL OF GOD. And thats y the sower will go forth to sow his precious seed in humanity that Christ might be multiplied as the stars of heaven i.e an Israel of God born in humanity us sinners. Don't cha see that God wd be lying if there is no TRINITY, When he said that his Name was Abraham Issac and Jacob, and Jesus saying he was the root and the offspring of DAVID ,The Root being Jesse and the offspring being Solomon the Granson . Steven God almighty swore by his very self when he made that Promise of multiplication thats y jesus is saying to whom the word came, ( remember the word is God) ,it made them Gods and the scripture cannot be broken. I will multiply thy seed as the Stars of Heaven thus th babes and sucklings Gods grand children, TH H.G.

My personal belief is that one can pray to both God & His Son Jesus Christ. Even though I generally address God my Father in prayer, I also find that I can speak to Jesus, to thank Him & praise Him. Why I say this is because in our new relationship with the Godhead, God is our Father & Jesus is our Brother. Just as one would seek the help & advice from an earthly father & maybe the understanding & support of an earthly brother, we can even see God & His Son in a similar way, praying to them, praising them, & seeking help. And we should also be able to pray to the Holy Spirit residing in us, especially in those times of trial & testing or for strength & comfort.

As well, we see in Scripture that people prayed to Jesus. You can look at these verses: 1 Corinthians 1:1,2 (calling upon the Lord Jesus' Name); 2 Corinthians 12:8,9 (Paul's thorn in the flesh); John 9:38 (Jesus was worshipped); Revelation 5:8-13 (Jesus worshipped in Heaven as God is); Acts 7:59; Acts 9:6 & many more.

And No, you don't need to speak in other tongues to experience re-birth. Re-birth is effected by God's Spirit as soon as you realize that you're a sinner & that the only hope of your forgiveness & salvation is by coming to the Cross of Christ where He gave His Life in your place. Once you repent of your sins, calling upon the Name of the Lord ( Romans 10:13), God hears your prayer (because it was He by His Spirit that drew you to this point of anguish & need to be saved). And 'all who come to Him He will in no wise cast away, or reject' ( John 6:37). God then indwells you by His Spirit making you a new woman with a clean heart with new & holy desires to please Him with your life. His Spirit also gives us gifts, some to speak with new tongues, & other gifts ( 1 Corinthians 12:7-11. Also see verses 28-31), but to speak in other languages is not a requirement or proof of your rebirth experience & of the Holy Spirit in you. A changed life, heart, will & true love for all, characterize a Christian.

God said that Jesus was his Son . If you make Jesus out to be more than that is that not a stretch ? Why did God say Jesus was his son only ? Let's be honest did God lie ? We know He does not lie .

My take is either Jesus is the Son of God that the Bible clearly states many times . The rest is confusion that is not clear .

You can not be son of yourself in any thing . By one's imagination.
  • Truth - In Reply on Deuteronomy 18 - 5 years ago
Jesus is either the son of God as the word says or God that the word does not say .

Jesus being born of God had a relationship with God the obviously was before the foundation of the world , simply because so was God Before and after this world . Not rocket science.

Just some scripture stating that Jesus and the Father are two. John 8:

16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of TWO men is true.

18 I am one that bear WITNESS of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth WITNESS of me.
  • Chris - In Reply on Deuteronomy 18 - 5 years ago
That's very true. Jesus was always called the Son of God, & so He was (& is). But the question really is: but where did Jesus, the Son of God, come from? Was it from the Being or Essence of God, or was He a new human creation (with the fusing of the Divine & human seed)?
  • Robert Malit - In Reply on Deuteronomy 18 - 5 years ago
Brother Chris, the following might help us all to really know who our God is. As Christians, we all believe in God, but at one time or another, we were also exposed to the preaching of false teachers.

JESUS is LORD, God with biblical proofs, no Trinity

Old Testament Prophesy of Isaiah is very important, as his prophecy was fulfilled in the New Testament and revealed the name of God, whose name was kept secret in the Old Testament:

Isaiah 44:6 6Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Isaiah 7:14 - Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

New Testament Prophet Isaiah prophecy fulfilled.

Matthew 1:24 Context 21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    Apostle John in Revelation

Revelation 1:8 - 9 8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. 9I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 22:13 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Revelation 1:17 - 18 17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Yes I'm like you most when my first reaction to this chapter was that God condones slavery? But if I think of it as a Boss (Master) and employee (servants), it is more acceptable. Think about it, there was no capitalism back them. No jobs like we have today. What would people do back then for work?

Great viewpoints that others had where it kept society in check minimizing crime. Eye for an eye, etc.
  • Adam - In Reply on Deuteronomy 18 - 5 years ago
Robert, I literally quoted the Bible and broke it down to word for word detail, but instead you call me a 'twister' which seems like a disrespectful thing to say to someone. Instead actually sharing evidence yourself it seems you dodge and talk about other things to justify your belief. What if the Bible is right and you're interpretation is incorrect? What if you're actually the "twister"?

1 John 5:7 - is so simple a child can understand what it means. I know what it means. Do you? Have you prayed about it with an open heart and asked God to reveal His truth to you?

1 John 4:3 - The Bible says someone who doesn't believe Jesus is from God has the spirit of the anti Christ. That is a very serious matter.

Have you looked up these verses and prayed about this?
  • Chris - In Reply on Deuteronomy 18 - 5 years ago
Thanks Rick. Of course, I understand that certain 'English' words needed to be used to closely interpret the original language & at times there would be limitations to its intended meaning simply because of the nature of languages. But I believe that we do have as best a translation as possible that can be totally relied upon & with ample supporting Scriptures throughout which we can use to cross-reference to learn the meaning.

But if you sense that words have been added or subtracted from the Bible to suit someone's whims & fancies, then we fall into the same trap as our Islamic accusers who believe that the Bible has been altered using the same accusation of addition & subtraction. When I ask proof from them, all they have is to compare it to the Quran & have no idea what biblical Scriptures have been changed or when the changes occurred.

I realize that you're not suggesting that, but that in a lesser way you suggest that there are word usages in the Bible that may not be in the original. Then again, the request has to be declared, 'Where are the changes in the Bible & how have they affected the Truth shared or our understanding of them?' I've re-looked at my references ( Colossians 1:16,17 & John 1:1-3, if these are the ones in your focus), & stand by in my understanding as given in the Word. What I would however like to read from someone, is that some other Scripture(s) has been found that should alter my understanding, to which I would be compelled to give due consideration. But thus far, with all my efforts (bar Robert Malit latterly), none have come forward. Disappointing.
