Where is God? I tell the tots I minister God is in our hearts. In my Catechist learning, God is in heaven, on earth and in all things he made. But then I thought how can He be in evil things or persons.

Amazingly with all of the sci-fy and superhero movies and games we view; people are not ready to take what The Church is teaching and preaching about the Rapture. Although Netflix does have a few movies (not exactly scriptural).

The Parable of the 10 virgins in the Gospels, Jesus is showing us to be ready every day, to go with Him. The "Oil" is the joy of the Holy Spirit who readies us for the Rapture.

We must be born again from above to be in tune to the signs. JOHN 3. It's just like with car insurance: there is basic liability that will NOT get your car replaced in a crash. Christians must have the full package. We're ready for everything the moment it happens. RIGHT NOW, get those you love ready to go with Jesus.

I believe with this pandemic, the powers above our government, are finding out how to keep people corralled. Shut up in homes; afraid to go to church; teach kids at home; etc.

The Lord woke me with a question in my heart, and a Bible verse, and when I read the verse in the Bible, God highlighted also the next verse below it, for there was my answer. God is truly good ... and He hears the cries of His children and He answers them and makes them to rest, and be at peace, and He comforts them. Thank you Jesus.

This chapter relates to the time of David's struggle against King Saul, at which time the various tribes & others dedicated themselves to David to fight against Saul.

Of the Tribe of Issachar, we read that the two hundred chiefs of Issachar who were faithful to David, are described as those who "understood the times & knew what Israel should do". There are various interpretations to this. 1. these men were politically knowledgeable knowing how to discern & use current events to their advantage. 2. that they were known for their understanding of astronomy & physical science. 3. as men of wisdom, prudence & religious scholarship, they knew that the time had come for David to take over kingship.

It is my opinion that given the background of these remarks about the chiefs of Issachar, it seems likely that their skills in understanding the political situation, with the resources of armed men available to David & knowledge of the Scriptures, these chiefs were able to offer guidance to David concerning the next steps that he should take. One of the first matters of discussion was the returning of the Ark of God, for which Issachar may have taken a lead role.

For us today, as Christians we have the Spirit of Christ in us to give us wisdom & guidance in matters of life, both physical & spiritual. When we read & study God's Word as well, we understand what the Mind & Will of God is. Using this knowledge & help, we are expected to keep abreast with what is going on around us, discerning the times we live in thus being careful in our lives & offer guidance to those without knowledge & seeking. Issachar was ready to advise David - we too should be full of God's Word, ready to share the Truth to others in light of the world's events. Jesus spoke of this in Luke 12:54-57, about those who could accurately forecast the weather, but their knowledge didn't extend to a proper understanding of the Scriptures/Prophets about the coming Messiah.

God created you for a higher purpose

In the biblical book of Judges (chapters 13-16) we meet Manoah and his wife, a couple who were unable to have children until God intervened in their situation. More than that, God placed a special calling on their soon-to-be-born son, Samson, even before he had been knit together in his mother's womb.

Samson was handpicked by God to liberate God's people. Samson grew up knowing God's will for his life. His parents made sure he heard the story of how he had been chosen by God before he was born. His marching orders were made clear by the angel of the LORD who had visited his parents. Moreover, God gave him supernatural strength, so Samson had everything he needed to deliver God's people, Israel, from the oppressive hands of the Philistines (see Judges 13:5).

God chose you, and gave you a purpose before you were even born. When God created heaven and earth, he knew that one day you would find yourself right where you are at this moment. You have been created in the image of God, and you were made for a purpose. One of the most important things you can do, then, is to seek God's guidance concerning what your main mission should be, and how you can best fulfill it.

We're not told what crops Isaac sowed in the land of the Philistines. From research, I find that the Philistines grew a variety of crops, some of which are still cultivated in Israel. And these include: sycamore, cumin, coriander, bay trees & opium poppy. The fact that Isaac was able to produce such a great harvest in spite of the extensive famine there, was nothing short of the Hand of God & enabling Isaac to find water deep beneath the ground surface. ( Genesis 26:18-22).

In Luke 21:32, the word generation (Greek: genea), can apply to a 'generation, race or family'. I don't believe that Jesus was speaking about a generation, as of forty years from the establishment of the State of Israel.

After His description of the manifold troubles that will come upon the Earth during the Great Tribulation & the dissolving of the Earth & skies, He says that only after all these things must come to pass, will this present generation (or, race) of mankind (particularly of Israel) finally end. But in the New Heavens & New Earth, only the redeemed of the Lord will inhabit it & where there will be no existence of sin at all, as all that have not repented & turned to the Lord will be consigned to the Lake of Fire (Revelation chapters 20 & 21).

If you're referring to some Christian women who cover their heads (with scarves or hats) when worshipping the Lord, this directive is taken from 1 Corinthians 11:3-10. The covering of the head by the woman (or, in the case of men, to be uncovered), has its roots in God's order of creation & the observance by the heavenly host. This teaching & practise might be difficult to comprehend by us today, but it's stated clearly in the Scriptures for a reason. However, this is generally not observed in many Fellowships today, preferring to appear before the Lord according to current dress trends.

I'm unable to determine from the Scriptures how the observance of this practise is seen & judged by the Lord. It might be one that is added to the many other practises that we Christians fail to observe correctly. The Lord is our Judge.

Samira, since you've received other responses, I too will add to them to give you some balance & confirmation of your belief. What you read from the Bible & from your own understanding of the two great lights in the heavens, is correct. The Sun, being a gaseous star, produces its own heat & light from nuclear fusion of hydrogen & helium gases. The moon, like the Earth, is just a great big lump of rock, & produces no light of its own but simply reflects sunlight. Just as viewing the Earth from the Moon or from space, the Earth will give off light, but again, not its own light, but reflected light from the Sun.

If this were not the case with the Moon, then the phases of the Moon that we see should just be an optical illusion. But the phases prove that there is something hiding a part of the Moon (i.e. the Earth's spherical shadow). If it were not so, then the Moon should constantly reveal to us here on Earth, a fully lit ball, if it indeed emitted its own light.

And Genesis 1:16, the Hebrew word for 'Light' (maor) is translated 'luminary'. This allows for both the Sun & Moon to either generate their own sources of light or to be reflectors of it. God had provided mankind a light source for both day & night, even if it is only a reflected light from the Moon.

Glad to see a brother in flat earth. As this was the beginning of my journey to the Lord. Being led, in a journey, to the truth of our earth. Which led me to read the Bible leading me to Jesus Christ. One thing I've tested myself, as seen, pertaining to the moon shedding it's own light. Taking a temperature gun on a full moon night and seeing several degrees cooler temperatures, on a surface, in the moon light. From what was shadowed from the moonlight. Proving the light from the moon is a cooling light.
