Remember, Matthias replaced Judas as a discipline, so still 12.
When living & serving in Pakistan, both men & women who chose to wear the national dress (called, Salwar Kamiz), had the cut of the clothing exactly the same as each other, except for a possible design printed for the woman's dress & a light shawl tossed over both shoulders. So I feel that the Deuteronomy 22:5 reference should not today be viewed as the sexes interchanging clothing, or a woman requiring to wear pants for work or leisure. The point was that the clothing worn had to be clearly acceptable as normal attire for the sexes & that the man shouldn't 'disguise' himself to be a woman & vice versa, as pertains to those classed as 'transvestites'. In India, I saw this often on the trains, where such men wore women's clothes (saris), to aid their begging efforts.
So I understand the Scripture being directed to those who purposely wore another's clothing for reasons other than what is considered normal & acceptable in society. I think the more pertinent issue today however, is how we dress for the beach, or how we try to present ourselves to the opposite sex in a seductive way, or wearing expensive clothing to convey class distinction. The world might consider this absolutely normal, but does God see that way & whether His children follow their example?
I'm almost 70 lol. I have a theory that if we sit too much, our bodies rebel and shift around to the front of us.
Tight clothes are like tattoos: they don't look cool on elderly bodies. Ponder on that.
Only 8 souls survived: Noah's family.
The evil ones had no bodies. Bodies Drowned. (There's a chapter where they rail on Satan for getting them killed.) With no bodies they became Demons.
In the New Testament, Jesus cast many out of afflicted peoples, body and soul. If you think..So What?... they can still get inside people who are not Born Again.
They wander until they find some kind of living thing to get inside. That statement is validated in Ephesians 6:11-12, Eph. 2:2, Isaiah 24:21-22 (some are imprisoned); some are in high places; Michael had to fight one so Gabriel could get a message to Daniel. Isaiah 14:16, satan isn't big & handsome. Ezekiel 28:23-19.
Satan has a will and he uses it to hurt people.
Often people blame God for the bad things that happen. If people today have idols in their lives (porn on the computer, gamble online, horoscopes, etc.) There are specialized demons that inhabit those things. We open the door they use to come inside our lives.
One even followed Paul around, hindering his meetings till he turned and cast it out of that woman! THEY ARE INVISIBLE!!! We never have drinks and smoke pot alone.
Maybe we should turn our focus away from nephalim in Genesis and lay our eyes on how to identify demonic activity in our lives, family, friends, mean neighbors, violent video games etc. ask yourself: what Fruit am I seeing?? Is someone depressed or suicidal? That's a spirit of death. Drugs, alcohol, pot=spirit of bondage. Learn these things. You could be praying to set clueless people FREE to follow Jesus.
Please think about this. Remember people who died way too early. Some of you commit to pray every day for Military who will be returning home soon, to find jobs miraculously, find new friends, be blessed for serving. Hold their lives Precious within your heart and spirit. Let's love Larger than just ourselves.

If your work boss provides a standard of dress for employees, we obey that requirement. Especially if uniforms are provided. For most people our dress should be modest and represent Christ.
Worldly people routinely dress to find dates or hook ups. Avoid that. We dress for Jesus.
I know what Paul taught and it was good for that time, and for this time we are living in. Just be led by the Holy Spirit and there will be no confusion.
I'm often saddened by the parents that end up on Dr Phil with their teen children who dress like male/female prostitutes. An entire hour is spent on how do I regain status as the parent?
I'm a parent and a Christian. You do not ever budge an inch on what the "World" demands we do: versus what God says about modesty and basic intellect. YOU CONTROL THE MONEY. If you lose control, you will lose the child to the worldly world. You sow the seeds of rebellion and co-dependence. You want to be "loved" by your kids: they need your money to look like their worldly, popular, friends.
They are trying to belong to their peer groups. Not Jesus.
I taught my son frequently that it takes a lot more courage to be a LEADER, than it does to become an aimless FOLLOWER. I didn't nag or drill his head. I challenged him. I rewarded him with praise for right choices and living.
This is our reward for launching a child of God into the world. They meet less obstacles than the kids who never learned how to live leadership skills. Leaders learn from other leaders. It's not hard to do. The Bible teaches it.
If the church and the parents fail to teach it: how else are they going to learn it?

As to Revelation 19:16, there can be no certainty as to where & why this inscription was placed there. A reasonable explanation could be that as the Lord Jesus, the Lord of Glory is seen coming as a horseman, outfitted for battle, his outer clothing (vesture) may have been an extended, fairly heavy tunic that was normally worn. This vesture had His Name inscribed on it & it was written on the tunic at about thigh level. It was common for notable persons (kings, warriors, etc.) from olden days to have their titles inscribed on their clothing & this might be seen of the coming Warrior King in the skies. But all this is only a supposition.
1Beloved, do not trust every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they belong to God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2This is how you can know the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ come in the flesh belongs to God,
3and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus*does not belong to God. This is the spirit of the antichrist that, as you heard, is to come, but in fact is already in the world.
4You belong to God, children, and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
5They belong to the world; accordingly, their teaching belongs to the world, and the world listens to them.
6We belong to God, and anyone who knows God listens to us, while anyone who does not belong to God refuses to hear us. This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.
I have never read in the bible where Angels can manifest in human form. Nor have I read that they could materialize. Angels are in spirit form and can appear as a human but not materialize, therefore do not have the ability to have sexual relations with humans.
Why does most still believe that the sons of God mentioned in 6:4 are angels and the offspring are Nephilim. And that the renowned are the Nephilim?
Can people view the scripture as the Nephilim are just present during the time the male humans(sons of God) and female humans(daughters of man) had intercource.
Their offspring are human, and the renowned men of old are in reference to famous people mentioned prior to Gen.6:4.: the sons of God?
I have not viewed any other theories that suggests this.
Good luck in your search.
Blessed are the peace keepers.
Is jesus literally saying man should eat his flesh and drink his blood
John 6:57 "he who feeds on me" translated to he who believes him/accepts him/and participates in Eucharist...will live
However, if you mean that you both have divorced & she has gone to another man & has subsequently left him, then you cannot re-marry her. There is no New Testament instruction on this matter (that I can remember), but certainly an Old Testament directive by God concerning a man finding uncleanness in his new wife (i.e. she was found to be impure/not a virgin), & he divorced her for that reason. Subsequently, after her second husband dies or divorces her, her first husband is warned that it would be a great sin to receive her back into marriage with him. ( Deuteronomy 24:1-5).
Both parties in this instance, would do well to continue to remain single, bring all their matters, hurts & needs before the Lord, & then press on in the pathway of devotion and service to the Lord. Even though such marital problems can bring on much hurt & distress, the ministry of God's Spirit is very real to bring about healing, forgiveness & full mental & spiritual restoration. Many people often bypass God's requirements, treating the sanctity of marriage with disdain, and sadly do so to their greater hurt.
So my thoughts are: did the Apostle have an OT Scripture in mind when he penned these words. I refer you to Deuteronomy 21:22, "And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree...". My sense of this 1 John portion, is that John's focus is on PRAYER, rather than the sin. He begins this subject from 5:14, giving us confidence that God will hear & answer our prayers if we don't ask amiss but according to His Will.
Then John goes on to give an example (v16) of a brother committing sin which does not lead to death. If the Deuteronomy passage is referred to, then we see a sin (crime) against both God's Laws & the Law of the Land. The Deuteronomy account shows a rebellious, gluttonous & drunkard son, who for his crime, was taken to the Elders & was subsequently put to death. And that 'sin' was worthy of the death sentence under God's Laws, & to John's readers, who were under Roman Law as well, were also subject to civil law.
So, what if a brother then offends in that civil law, which might also affect God's Law, is the offence committed worthy of the death penalty? If not, then prayer may be offered on his behalf for God's forgiveness & for the brother's release from civil prison. But if the brother has sinned which is deserving of the death penalty, then the full force of God's Law & civil law stands. One cannot assume that this was a premeditated crime (can a true Christian even embark on such sins?); it could have been accidental/unintentional, yet determined as intentional, thus bringing on the legal requirement. As also for blasphemy & partaking of the Lord's Supper unworthily as sins - it is futile to pray for all such situations.
