Christ, has the power to forgive sins. He does this with his word. Circumcision is what actually happens when your spirit confesses His name and believes on him. Circumcision, becomes the cutting away of our sins, and a renewing of our spirit in Christ Jesus. This is what we mean when we say "abide in Christ". Then again In baptism , we are born again. The renewing of the holy spirit, buried in his death, raised again in his resurrection. These are illustrations of what actually happens to a person that receives the spirit of Jesus Christ.

Does the Bible, say after Israel was made of state in 1948, that the generation of that year shall not pass away before the returning of Christ?

The moon is not reflected light. It is a separate and distinct light source. Sometimes it can be seen that the sun and moon are visible in opposite ends of the sky simultaneously during an eclipse. The Bible contains no errors. Research our flat earth reality. When we stand on the TRUTH of God's Word, we need not FEAR or be INTIMIDATED by ANYONE. In an earthly sense in the early Church, Peter had "rank" on Paul; Paul was the newcomer to the Faith. But Paul KNEW Jesus, and Paul KNEW Peter was WRONG in this matter. Paul PUBLICLY rebuked Peter because Peter was PUBLICLY relegating the Gentiles to a "2nd place status", which was completely CONTRARY to the TRUTH of the Gospel. Paul rebuked Peter not only for Peter's sake, but for the CHURCH'S sake!

What other people were involved in Abrams decision?

How did god demonstrate to Abram the dimensions of the promised land?

How was abram made righteous before god?

How are we made righteous before god?
  • Chris - In Reply on Ephesians 3:2 - 5 years ago
You could well be correct. However, to know who these "ten thousand" were & the reason they were summoned to accompany the LORD, may never be known.

I have heard some say Angels rather than saints , but KJV has saints for a reason .

I can think of one and that would be Enoch that walked with God and was taken I don't find it hard to think there where many more . Angels are saintly as well to be in Gods presence .

But these saints where greatly involved with the word and appreciating it , makes me think that they where not angels but Saints .

I found my answer to the use of Gods anointing oil. Jesus is the new covenant that took the place of the old covenant and to accept the new covenant would make us one with him becoming one with Jesus allows us to become priests for him and to spread the good news in his name which we become anointed thru him and to anoint others in him for the glorification of God the Father and to be baptized with fire rejecting all that is worldly and sinful and accepting Jesus who is holy and pure. So, we do have the right to use Gods recipe for the anointing oil and to use it for the glorification of Gods will as Jesus requires us to. To accept Jesus and reject sin makes us like Sons of God as he is and heirs to the kingdom of the Father as he is.

    Thank You

Mystery Babylon in revelation 17 , most assume it's the RRC ,

Then who are her harlot daughters ? They hold the same teachings perhaps , this is a huge religious system mixed with the world .

We know the RRC excepts other religions and is ecumenical.

Even Billy Graham was in association with them .

The Nicene creed was the beginning of the RRC so how many hold to these doctrines ?

If it's not the RRC then who is it ? It would need to be way in the future, because only RRC would fit the discription currently.
  • Robin - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
I know it sounds a bit unusual to some , but anyone can confess Jesus is come in the flesh , but does the spirit of their doctrine ? That's much deeper and only Godly person can discern it if they know the true doctrine soundly .

Here in Deuteronomy 33:1-3, the reference to "ten thousands of his saints" refers to God's Holy Angels. We get similar references to angels in Psalm 68:17 & Daniel 7:10.

Moses, prior to his death, related his experience at the giving of the Law at Sinai. Such was the greatness of that event, the Power & Beauty of the Law, that in its presentation, myriads of angelic beings accompanied the LORD. Now, it can't be assumed that Moses physically saw all this. But we're told in Exodus chapter 19 that prior to the giving of the Law, all the people had to stay well away from the mountain or they would die, that there would be thunderings & lightnings, fire & smoke & trumpet sounds. All these seem to indicate the moving of God from Heaven with His 'saints' for the purpose of the giving of the Law.

This can be a difficult question to answer depending on how you understand certain Scriptures.

For those who deem that Heaven & Paradise are the same location, they will cite 2 Corinthians 12:4 & Revelation 2:7, where in each of these references, Paul & John indicated that Heaven, the abode of God, is intended.

For those who believe that Paradise is a separate place, they will appeal to the location of departed souls pre-Cross, as in Luke chapter 16. Here we see the rich man being tormented in hell, & beyond the separating gulf, there was Lazarus, the beggar, who enjoyed relative comfort. And in Luke 23:43, Jesus tells the thief on the Cross that he would also go to Paradise with Him. We assume that this wasn't Heaven, as Jesus said that He had not ascended to the Father ( John 20:17). We understand that while Jesus' Body was in the sepulchre for the three days, Jesus, as also the thief, went down into Paradise. But at Jesus' bodily resurrection, those bodies in the graves also arose ( Matthew 27:53) with Him & we might assume that their souls once held in Paradise were now released to enter Heaven.

Some compartmentalize Hades with a section of suffering & another section of comfort. At Christ's death & resurrection, the souls who were in comfort (being noted for their faith & love for God), were released from there & taken into Heaven, the abode of God. However, the wicked still remain in Hades awaiting their final judgement & casting into the Lake of Fire (in the future).

So in answer to your question, both Heaven & Paradise can now be correctly considered as one & the same. But there was a distinction made pre-Cross, as those held in that Paradise (a place of comfort) awaited the great event of Christ's Sacrifice that provided the payment for their sins based on their faith & removed their condemnation. Romans 8:1.

Why cant the holy anointing oil recipe be used for public healing and anointing just as Jesus did during his ministries on earth to heal many dieses and elements. Does God forbid us to use this oil on human flesh? Jesus did...Of course he is God the holy Father. I believe I'm reading the Exodus in the spirit and understand it properly and I do not want to be cut off from him however, this anointing oil can cure many elements and dieses if mixed properly and prayerfully, lifting it up to the holy father himself. I have also found thru Strong's concordance that a lot of the Hebrew words of that age were mistranslated in our modern Bibles and actually have a different meaning.

    Thank You

In the usual meaning in English, 'heave' means to 'lift by effort or force, or, to throw in a similar way'.

In Numbers 18:11, Exodus 29:27, etc., the "Heave Offering", or Terumah (Hebrew), was simply an offering that was made by the Israelites as a present. However, some Rabbis note that in its presentation, the offering was 'heaved' or raised up, or in an up & down motion.

This was distinguished from a 'wave offering', as you may have read of this also. In this offering, the offering was waved (i.e. in a repeated horizontal motion) before being presented.

"Marvel" expresses less than amazement or astonishment. It's defined as a wonder; that which arrests the attention and causes a person to stand or gaze; to pause.

In Luke 2:30-33, the parents "marvelled" about what Simeon and others said about the Christ child.

30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

    31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

33 And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

In the New Testament of the Bible, you'll find the word "marvelled" used in other contexts, but it retains the same definition that is stated at the top of this answer. The following verse is Matthew 8:10...

"When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel."

    Numbers Chapter 21

8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

According to Revelation ( Revelation 2:14), Balaam told King Balak how to get the Israelites to commit sin by enticing them with sexual immorality and food sacrificed to idols. The Israelites fell into transgression due to these traps and God sent a deadly plague to them as a result ( Numbers 31:16).

That was then, today is the now. We have the salvation of Jesus Christ with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to help us avoid pitfalls that lead to sin. We have the Bible to show us how to follow Jesus.

The Book of Romans is a good place to start, but I think John chapter 3 is. When no one wants to be our friend; you will always have a friend in Jesus.

Some people have had real life experiences with the awesome Love of God. I always thought God was way way up in the sky somewhere. I didn't think he could hear me asking for help. But I found out that is not true. He is as close as your next breath. He cares about all of our needs. We just have to begin some conversations with Him...called praying. He talks to people but it's best to be born again ( John 3), so you can get your ears tuned to His Voice.

See if Isaiah 1:18 is desirable to you.

When I first came in here I read a lot of posts on the Testimonies Link. Many have posted how the came to believe in Jesus. Everyone of those is a real person.

You've got it right, and God made it just for us.

    Genesis 1

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
