What then shall we say. If GOD before us who can be against us.
  • Charlene Jimerson on Psalms 23 - 8 years ago
Thy shall not want.... to me means God has provided all that is and will be needed. Be content in Him. Don't go after false gods. Temptation comes from lack of sincere thankfulness and acknowledgement that "God is". In God all things are possible unlike with man.
  • Barry on Galatians 3 - 8 years ago
This verse is accurate. Jesus did die on a cross, which was made from wood. Wood comes from a tree. Every sickness every decease Jesus redeemed us from. Declare upon your life according to gallatian 3:13 I am refeeded from whatever disease you are suffering from As every sickness and disease falls under the curse of the law. Repeat it over and over until you believe it and are healed.

  • Linda on Psalms 31 - 8 years ago
Psalm 31:15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. He has been my guide all my life and my testimonies are countless. Thank you Lord!!!
  • Anonymous on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
A colleague told me prepare to die two days after i corrected her of something she did wrong.
The only thing i could do was to eat and chew psalm 91 day after day, time after time and He is still satisfying me with long life. This same person had a quarrel with another colleague prior to this time and that colleague lost her life subsequently. So i knew it has to be God for me to live.

  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 3 - 8 years ago
"Every man's work shall be made manifest:.." (cont.); Where in all the Scriptures do we ever read that God talked down to people or patronized their inabilities? Nowhere! He always speaks in a language everyone can understand, so that it is entirely on the state of the individual's fear of God and whether he has a heart to know the truth that God either has mercy, or else hardens that one.
  • A disciple on Psalms 9 - 8 years ago
"To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben (To Die For The Son), A Psalm of David..." So it was with many of our heroes in the Faith in all ages, that the hardest trials and most painful sorrows mostly come when we're older and nearing the end of our time here. We can be sure that David, a man after God's own heart, felt indescribable sorrow for what trouble his own failures had caused his lost sons.
  • A disciple on 1 Thessalonians 2 - 8 years ago
"Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:" We are workers together with God, and the Holy Spirit uses the lives of the Saints to demonstrate the power of the Glad Tidings of Christ, and to testify to the consciences of all who behold them. Sadly though, many never will find that completion of Grace and Knowledge in Christ.
  • Christ Magnified Glorifying Jesus on 1 Kings 17 - 8 years ago
Day 95 of Bible in a Year Reading. I LOVE this wonder-full account of Elijah and the widow. The woman sees how the food sustains life, but God is not only the sustainer of LIFE she beholds that He is the REVIVER of LIFE. AMEN and GLORY TO GOD.
  • Paul on Tobit 1 - 8 years ago

  • Frank on Matthew 19 - 8 years ago
i comment on v12.it teaches us of the spirit of barrenness.it comes as a generational curse ....mothers womb ....of men curses by people and lastly by design or choice for kingdom of God.The first two needs prayer to be broken. The last i have issues with in this comment. Jeremiah 1 v9 to 10 buttresses my position.we have to pray against the principalities or hierachy of evil as provided in EPHNS
  • Hazel on Luke 22 - 8 years ago
If I tell you you would not believe me how much more should the Lord do for us to believed thank you Lord I believe
  • A disciple on Psalms 4 - 8 years ago
Bill; you know what else seems really inconsistent, is how whenever I talk about walking in truth with a good conscience and without hypocrisy, somehow you think that that makes me the subject of the LORD's scorn as one seeking my own glory or wise in my own eyes. If these things are really so strange to you, maybe its because you've never heard this at your church? Not my fault!
  • A disciple on Psalms 4 - 8 years ago
Bill; Saved by grace, but only having or walking in a speck??? If the fruit is rotten, its because the tree is bad. If we are truly in Christ, truly walking in the Spirit abiding in Him and His Word in us; what? WE BRING FORTH M U C H FRUIT! Now all this fake humility which can't help but sneak an attack against someone that's done YOU no harm, is not grace or humility or piety, but hypocrisy!

    B Good Read ST John 15:1 - 10
Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my namesake: but he that endure the to the end shall be saved.
  • Stephen Botts on Psalms 127 - 8 years ago
"Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD." Amen!!
  • A disciple on 1 Kings 11 - 8 years ago
This very sad chapter points to a very serious danger that lurks seeking to ambush the simple by unrestrained appetites and propensity toward pleasures. Sin is first alluring and deceitful, and then demands utter control in order to overcome and subdue its victims. We are not made to be victims or to act like animals or devils. God has given us the Love of Christ and His Spirit for victory always.
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 11 - 8 years ago
Ann Hering; This is a good example of why God does not allow women to exercise dominion over men, nor to teach in the Church: you do not accurately expound, and you base your exposition on false premise. There was no "transition period" between Law and Grace. Jesus came not to abolish the Law, but to accomplish it! The day Jesus came in the flesh born of the virgin the word of God was completed.
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 3 - 8 years ago
"Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is." Wise teachers do not have any pity for students' hurt feelings or if it's harder for some more than others to learn the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic. In the same way we are expected to have integrity and overcome.
  • A disciple on Psalms 7 - 8 years ago
"Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God tries the hearts and reins (mind, interior self). My defense is of God, which saves the upright in heart." God is not deceived by any false sentimentality concerning the wicked and their works; and He has put a difference between His people and those who will not come to Jesus for mercy and healing.
  • A disciple on Psalms 7 - 8 years ago
"The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me." Integrity: completeness; fig. prosperity; mor. innocence; full, perfect, simplicity, uprightness; the root word for the stones set in the High Priest's Breastplate, meaning, Complete Truth. The integrity of the ground makes for the prosperity of the good seed sown.
  • Harvey plunkett on Daniel 9 - 8 years ago
Jesus is record twice to have commended the reading and understanding of Daniel. Matt. 24 and in mrk. This commendation would seem to imply daniel was, even in that era, open for intelligent understand of times relative to events in their order for sequence: "signs for the times."
  • Mild Bill,saved by grace - 8 years ago
Our "insomuch" is but a speck of a speck, and not seemly to be mentioned as a comparison to the Lord Jesus being the
express image of God.But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.James4:16
