The mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations
But now is made manifest to His saints.
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in You, the Hope of Glory!
Whom we (need to) preach warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
    O lovely GodGrace
  • Benjamin Nimmo on Psalms 118 - 8 years ago
Psalms 118 defines the works of God. The Lord our creator, covers us eternally. There is nothing man can do for us or to us that can ever change our spirit. Taking refuge in man, has no merit. God can do all things except fail. For the Lord is Salvation, and abiding by him, we shall receive the graciousness of his glory.

Dear friends, may I testify to the awesome and sustaining power of this verse. I was diagnosed with a rare incurable cancer at the end of 2016. But in the Lord Jesus I have found complete contentment and peace. My treatment has not always been successful, in fact one set even did harm but the Lord has cradled me in peace all the way. I cannot praise Him enough for His loving kindness.
  • Daniel on Matthew 5 - 8 years ago
All of Matthew chapter 5? Or something more specific? It starts with the beautitudes, then different subjects. :)
  • A disciple on Daniel 2 - 8 years ago
Jonathan (cont.); All the references to the final kingdom upon the earth describe similarly, one that controls and thus devours the whole world; strong and cruel as iron, but at the same time mingled with the filth of the flesh of the ungodly, thus being in actuality weak and brittled. That sure sounds like the condition and nature of a certain kind all over the world right now fighting for power!

Jonathan; like you, and I'm sure most who study and want to understand the words of the prophets regarding the completion of the age and the Lord's coming; I too have wondered about individuals and empires and times, as to how they might be the fulfillment of the Word. But I've started to understand that the entirety of the Word reaches from beginning to end, and is Spirit and Truth.
  • A disciple on Mark 7 - 8 years ago
Mable; You bring up a very important part and hard to be understood. The Lord Jesus has kindly and mercifully received us and accepted us by our faith in Him; and He has made us "every whit clean" through the Word which He has spoken to us. And he that is washed needs not anymore, but to wash his feet. We are in the sanctification and growing-up process, unto the discipline of the mind of Christ.
  • A disciple on 2 Chronicles 30 - 8 years ago
Dear Brother Steve morrow; O HOW FITTING THIS SCRIPTURE IS! If the Lord's priests who know these things would call assembly of the entire holy congregation of the LORD, old and young, men and women, and all the children and little ones, to come and stand before the LORD to seek His face in repentance; even to the very last second before Jesus comes; He would have mercy! But they in pride WILL NOT!
  • A disciple on Revelation 14 - 8 years ago
Word; Yes, "the disobedient children go into captivity" is a part of the word here, but there is so much more that goes with it, which is for OUR LEARNING upon whom the end of the age is come. It is strongly advised that we DO NOT first run to the writings of Commentators, but to the LORD and ask Him to give us understanding, and then get quiet and wait. How else are we going to learn? 1 John 2:27
  • A disciple on Exodus 40 - 8 years ago
"On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation." All of God's ways are perfect from the beginning and are brought to pass each in its proper time and place. First is the Tent set up, and within the Tent first is set the Ark in its place, as it were yet in the dark. Then is set the Table and all its things in order, and then the Lampstand.

Verse 26~God's Word is likened to water and it has cleansing properties. Just like we would use water to wash up everyday we should use the figurative water of God's Word to cleanse our minds and hearts everyday.

Disciple Isaiah 28 speaking of the whole House of Isreal going into captivity because of idolatry and then speaks of the whole House of Judah and theirs. God does give us wisdom on how to learn the truth and that's to read the scriptures line by line or in other words start at the very beginning chapter by chapter and read the Book. I'll check The Companion Bible and Moffet for more info. Word
  • Joshua on Ephesians 5 - 8 years ago
The term Melchizedek is Righteousness. True representation of Christ meeting us where we are. No matter what we have done accepts our offering as did from Abram ten percent. As Melchizedek is not condemning Abram neither is Christ condemning us. We are blessed instead. Thank you Jesus our high priest forever.
  • Mable Arrington on Mark 7 - 8 years ago

I love this scripture. I work with a lot of evil and negative people and I know this passive will cover me. This is my favorite one
  • Jonathan on Daniel 2 - 8 years ago
The fourth kingdom of Iron is the Roman empire, which conquered the world with its "iron" approach. After the fall of the Roman empire, ten kingdoms came out of it, thus "ten toes". The fact that it is mixed, iron and clay, points to the strive to unity in Europe (marriages at first, later Napoleon and Hitler, now the EU) But it would never truly become a united power again.

  • Lucy on James 4 - 8 years ago
The book of James is a good book to read, but we must go back to the beginning, where it all began and where we became as one, it was God that destroyed the earth and all that was on it, and then began again with Noah and his family. We are all the same the only difference is male and female, and good and evil, remember Good is God, so we should try to be good to one another.
  • Daniel on Proverbs 9 - 8 years ago
    This is Wonderful
  • Prophet Tom on Revelation 4 - 8 years ago
This chapter reveals a great deal. First go look at the stones described. they are the color of fire and are spotted and patterned in snake and Leopard prints. In chapter 13 it reveals the sea of glass that is the floor of this heaven. If beast protect the throne that have wings = the number of elders. given all the sign and that they want worship 24-7 proves Devil. 10 horns = ten crowns all fall.
