There shall be no more condemnation of Life, but cleansing of life made new, begotten of God, also the heaven and earth shall be made new, by the Glory of that continued cleansing.
  • Ed on Daniel 10 - 8 years ago
vs 14 the end is not the end of time but the end of Daniel's people, the end of an era. The Christian era begins with the Messiah, King of the kingdom of God.

Day 70 Bible in a Year Reading. It is as if Samson, though very flawed, used himself as an instrument of retribution even to his death. He allowed God to give him great strength and took care of his body and his desires, but he did not allow God to always penetrate his heart. Yet, he is listed in Hebrews as a man of faith. What could have been if he had totally consecrated himself to God?

  • Servant of God on John 13 - 8 years ago
Where I go you cannot come, for this world is a place of becoming. We are not yet what we are meant to be. So God sends to earth for us models of perfection, as teachers, examples of his mercy, speakers of truth. How rare, on earth to hear truth spoken! But it is written in red, in psalms, in the teaching of Moses, and others. But on earth in this our day the truth tellers are few, if any. Oi

  • Michael on Genesis 8 - 8 years ago
I love this web site. I use this and my physical bible for a message every week. This is encouraging, after being cooped up for a year, Noah still waits for Gods word, then, after God opens the door , Noah worships first thing by building an altar. Praise the Lord.
  • Debbie L. Bates on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
Jesus Christ our Lord is the only way, the only way to Salvation!
Know him, teach on him, honor him in all we do! Amen
  • Ugwuishiwu Samson on Leviticus 11 - 8 years ago
Dietary instructions of God to the Israelites is just to remind us of our peculiarities to Him as people. Christians should abstain from all practices repugnant to God not necessarily the food or meats we ingest.
  • Jude on 1 Samuel 13 - 8 years ago
verses 19-20 are relevant to the gun grabbing gun/weapon control plan of people in power, and those who would not let us defend ourselves, our families, and others
  • Neil, in Canada on Revelation 20 - 8 years ago
Re Rev 20:12...."the books were opened...judgment based on what were in the books"what are the books?
    Jesus said earlier
"...the words that I have spoken, they will be the judge in the last day"
Where do we find the words that Jesus has spoken?
Primarily, in the Gospels( better, see the red letter edition of Scripture)
So , unbelievers will be judged on their unbelief, the sin unto death

  • Christ Magnified Glorifying Jesus on Judges 12 - 8 years ago
Day 69 of Bible Reading in a Year. Excellent history of the period of the judges who "ruled" Israel. It is fascinating how the "land" has and is still so very important even among the gentiles. The identification of people with the land for the Israelites revealed a history (though frequently broken" of trusting God to deliver them from their enemies and their own flesh.
  • A disciple on 2 Timothy 3 - 8 years ago
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" MAN DOES NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE! Our life is NOT made up of the things we possess nor does filling up our outward decorations and idols make our character after the image and likeness of God. It all comes from the Word of God! Our whole duty is to keep God's commandments, HIS WORDS! Read them through: constantly never let them depart from before your eyes. Pray them in, examining yourself by the Spirit's convictions that we really be "of the Truth." Write them down, study them, and learn what the words mean, so you can accurately understand what kind of man or woman God expects you to be. Work them out in every thought and intent of your heart, in word and deed, being honest and sincere, and very courageous. If we are to be made into the image and likeness of God, it can only be by His Spirit, through His entirely inspired Word put in action. THAT'S FAITH, AND THAT'S WISDOM!
  • A disciple on Exodus 21 - 8 years ago
If these would be the Laws in our Countries today, how much less crime and evil would be! It doesn't mean we have to bring everyone to judgment for every little thing; but smaller matters could be dealt with by neighborhoods and communities, there would be definite boundaries that would make people think twice. Add to that, when all Nations a made disciples and have God's Spirit, how much better!
  • Mark on John 10 - 8 years ago
Those who were in leadership could not understand they were face to face with the coming Messiah, which was held in the scriptures given to them to teach and be an example. Jesus is not calling us all gods. He is making a reference to their inflated sense of authority in relation to their impending judgement of supposed blasphemy.
  • Sylvia on Romans 12 - 8 years ago
Feed our enemies even though we know who they are, because the Lord will take vengeance
  • Rhode Island Pastor on Proverbs 11 - 8 years ago
A thought in respect to Proverbs 11:30: He that winneth souls is wise.

Satan is selfish and an adversary, and although his time is short, he tries to get as many souls to follow him and end in the lake of fire.

We bible-believers, in contrast, ought to be UN-selfish, as ministers of reconciliation, knowing our time is short, ought to get as many souls to follow Jesus Christ. Opposite of Satan.
  • Steve Bartlett on John 14 - 8 years ago
What a great source of comfort the writings of John 14 is. Thank you Father.
  • Timothyschnell on Romans 9 - 8 years ago

  • Kylie on Daniel 6 - 8 years ago
God will deliver us from our adversary Satan, the roaring lion ( 1 Peter 1:8). This is a fulfilment of Proverbs 11:8, "The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead." Daniel is an example of a true sanctification: even his enemies could not find any fault in him, "forasmuch as he was faithful".
  • Gabrielle.s.simons on Job 1 - 8 years ago
did you all even know that Job had ten kids?
  • A disciple on Luke 23 - 8 years ago
"And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom." This man had eyes to see beyond the present realities, and the facts done, to the eternal realms that preside over time. He understood that whatever men do in this life it could not hinder Christ from His eternal glory and purpose for coming into the world. As long as we have breath we can be of the truth and repent.
  • A disciple on Proverbs 1 - 8 years ago
"Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: for that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: they would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices." There is no SIGN given to those who refuse knowledge. Mt. 13:11
  • A disciple on 2 Timothy 2 - 8 years ago
MJF; I think that you try to say is, Don't be a hypocrite; i.e. putting forth a misleading appearance in order to conceal one's true nature and character. Next to that will have to be an honesty about one's own worthlessness and utter dependence on God's mercy; like the example of the Pharisee and the Publican praying in Luke 18. God loves truth; and has no respect for holier than thou impostors.
  • A disciple on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
Irene; "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." As children of God we will recognize our own family, and its always little slice of heaven whenever we're together; whether for Meeting, or just a few minutes. Sorry to say, but this has rarely been my experience in a Church.
  • A disciple on Luke 23 - 8 years ago
"..And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required." Thus it has continued to this day, and so the wicked are embolden to fill the world with their wicked ways, and pursue their fantasies and perverted imaginations of a world without God and without His Anointed. Psalm 2 describes this that has been in the world since Cain.
  • BSP on Job 15 - 8 years ago
BSP: From John Gill's Exposition of the Bible: ... he trusts none of them with themselves, with the redemption and salvation of their souls, with the regeneration and sanctification of their hearts, and with their preservation to eternal glory; he has put those into the hands of his Son and Spirit...
  • A disciple on Luke 23 - 8 years ago
"And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves." How does one become friends with someone so vile and unrepentant as Herod? And that, especially over the matter of the judgment of what to do about Jesus, and how is delivered up without cause by the who hate Him and want to ill Him without cause!
  • MJF on 2 Timothy 2 - 8 years ago
There are many false preachers, teachers and Bible scholars in the world; be "ware". Some have the gift of speech.. We must remember that the Lord is not impressed with gifts, but with those who live holy and righteous lives. Live what you teach or shut up! People need to see a living, walking, talking, loving and godly example in those professing to be holy Christian's. Put difference n life.
  • Obbie Beal on Revelation 6 - 8 years ago
