At a disciple, Jesus also can not lie when he said the FIRST resurrection is not going to happen until after the beheadings.... HINT: the dead in Christ are the martyrs! Revelation 20. Paul said the dead have to rise first and Jesus said that the first resurrection is AFTER the tribulation. How can their be a pre trib rapture.

Jesus said this is the first resurrection. This means that you can not have a resurrection prior to this without calling Jesus a liar. If Paul said the DEAD IN CHRIST have to rise first, and Jesus said that the FIRST resurrection is not until AFTER the beheadings, there CAN NOT be pre tribulation rapture? Jesus and Paul said the exact same thing.

Day 74 of Bible Reading in a Year. These last 4 chapters are so revealing about human nature. Our desires, priorities, feelings, ego, drive etc. Praise God for His mercy and patience in my life. May Jesus be glorified.

Jesus NEVER talked down to anyone, no matter how much WE might think that they couldn't understand. Jesus told a woman who had already five husbands, and was presently with a man not married, about what knowing God really was, without talking down to her or trying to simplify the truth. "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." Speak the truth as the Spirit directs and NEVER talk down to people. God knows how to cause His Word to have effect on a man's heart!

The seed of the devil are all they that will never stand in the truth, and will seek to fulfill their desires for what is forbidden, like their father the devil. By the Lord Jesus yielding up himself to the hands of sinners (the seed of the devil) He has broken the head of the serpent. The seed of the woman refers to Christ coming in the flesh.
