according to romans we are neither jew or gentile we are one. there is only one high priest Jesus He is the new will.yes Jesus death brought in a new coventent because of man fail to keep the first. and yes Hebrews is for us today Praise God Almighty for the Grace Jesus brought a better promise. First resurrection is after the 1st tribulation when we have past the test and all of God's children will go through the test then we will all be changed in spiritual bodies those that remain on earth to meet the Lord an our relatives that come at the 7th trump, if you have waited for the True Christ you have nothing to fear of the wrath of God that happens at the 7th trump when vials are poured.

The 42 children - KNEW about God, but they were disrespectful to the man of God. When you know God and you revile Him- you will pay for it. The bears were 'sent' by God to destroy the children. It doesn't say what happened to the parents who - let their children grow up this way. Possibly losing the kids was - enough. Parents raise their kids the same way today. I did, and I'm paying for it.

david showed bravery and cunning stepping out of that cave. the words he chose made himself a hero before saul's army. to have him killed then would have brought saul much shame. there was nothing to stop saul from having his army kill david and his men. it would have been an easy kill because they had no way to escape. saul finally realized that david would be king.

Joshua 19 explains how the inheritance of land is divided. Joshua 20 is about the cities named for refuge. Joshua 21:44"and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them,the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand." I don't see anywhere that these chapters are talking specifically (which one) about friend or foe being killed unawares.

Bee, 12 26 15 - the wise men came from Persia, which is east of Israel. Persia was noted for it's astronomers not astrologers , i.e. they were 'wise' men. Nor does the scripture say they were 'kings'. AND - they saw Jesus in a house at 2 yrs. old, not the stable.

Good Steve- Look now at Rev 12:17- Here are they who KEEP the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus- explained in 19:10- which is the spirit of prophecy. Armageddon is a word that means " unveiling" and not some crazy end time future thing. We who are alive will be caught up with those who "sleep" in Christ (dead!). This will happen at last trump at last day just like the Word says. God's people suffered thru persecutions and will either suffer, following His commandments or opt out and receive the mark. We WILL suffer like all the rest. It's ok!

There are many reasons why God does a lot of things and He does it all for His own glory whether out of compassion or to show His power or for our good etc. Let's add John 9:1-3 to the discussion. This is e-home cell we have online I enjoy the contributions. Let's continue to glean through scriptures to build ourselves up in all humility.

As believers we seek God's mercy and blessings every day and when we walk in obedience through his praise and his words we set an example for all nations that the rightousnes of God can be seen from our heavenly Father that gladness show forth and God received the praise.

This chapter is teaching about being kind-hearted and liberal. As God blesses us financially or otherwise we should help others who are in need among us. Prov. 25 'The liberal soul shall be made fat and he that watereth shall be watered also himself'.

The "way" is lifestyle. Walking is ones purpose or plans, standing is to occupy and sitting is to take rest or comfort. To delight is to know, desire and enjoy. The chaff has no purpose but to be wind driven willy-nilly, Jesus our righteousness allows us to stand in judgement and believers rest in the company of the congregation of other believers. God always knows where we are.
