  • Lane on Proverbs 24 - 9 years ago
hello Saint's Proverbs 24 is full of wisdom, and knowledge for the righteous son's and daughter's of our GOD. I know longer want my enemies punish, but to come into the wisdom of LORD JESUS. Mr. Smith, you were right when you quoted verse Hosea 4:6. LORD JESUS, gave us back everything that was taken from Adam and eve. WAKE UP!
  • Lane on Proverbs 10 - 9 years ago
Sean, I too have been dull in the mind. I am so glad that our Father GOD, LORD JESUS, and The HOLY SPIRIT, ways are not our ways. I would have been doomed a long time ago. Thank JESUS, for bleeding our case in the courtroom of grace. AMEN!
  • Peter on John 1 - 9 years ago
John 1 is a very important charter where we can see Jesus as God and God in Jesus wherein the Trinity is explicitly defined and explained. John the baptist also gives it clearly. What more can one not believe this witness and testimony. Truly Jesus is God and John the Apostle gives an eye witness of everything as he saw, knew and testify so that we can believe in Jesus Christ the Lord. amen.

    Thank you Lord, Amen!
  • Amy on Jeremiah 38 - 9 years ago
In verse 4-6 we see how Zedekiah gave in to fear of man and allowed opposers to throw Jeremiah into a muddy cistern to die. We never want to allow fear of men to control our actions.

24 "Ye see that a man is justified of works, and not of faith only." By our works, our practice and doing, our course in life; is our faith made perfect, completed, fulfilled. Like we know it is an Apple Tree because there are apples on it; so we know our calling and election of God because the effects of His mercy and grace wrought in our heart are reflected in our way of life, and our character.
  • Harrell Washington on John 15 - 9 years ago
God is the true Vine, without God the vine will not produce good fruit ,Love and Abide. Thats why I gave God all the praise and Love because God as brought me through a lot of things as a man and I thing God for watching over me.

    Save me lord
  • Bruce on Deuteronomy 28 - 9 years ago
When a person is lost, they have no idea where they're at,they have a hopeless feeling. But when they see something familiar,it's WOW! They'll remember that for a lone time. When a person is saved it's a 100 times better! A Day like no other. Born-again. Born of The Spirit. A great Day of Rejoicing,a Day that will be remembered. The unchanged (lost) says no big deal, that Day means nothing.
  • Irene123 on Acts 8 - 9 years ago
The Bible itself proves one cannot be a 'lone' Christian. Acts 8:26-40 (God's spirit spoke to Philip). The eunuch admitted he needed someone to teach him. That's why God instituted the pastorate and disciples (saints), to be in that place, by prayer
  • Irene123 on Psalms 5 - 9 years ago
There are people on here that say that God wasn't capable of watching over His word as it was being written. Through MUCH devout prayer by the scribes God guided them in the writing. Isa. 55:11; Ps. 138:2; 19:7; 68:11. A God that CANNOT lie, Titus 1:2. Always discount anyone that says anything negative about the Word of God. Do NOT reply; just ignore them.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on 1 Samuel 5 - 9 years ago
Our God is awesome and should be respected and worshiped in awe. You cannot afford to "mess up" with where God has His awesome presence- The Ark of the Covenant. This is why I have been taught by my parents to give reference to the Holy Bible- a sacred Book where the Word of God dwells.
  • A disciple on Deuteronomy 28 - 9 years ago
Hi Lu2677 Thanks for your reply! I too find it very spiritually exhilarating to engage in discussion (and debate!) of the Scriptures. Not only do we exercise our skill and understanding of the Word; (as it is a two-edged sword, and he that waters himself also shall be watered); but it also teaches me how to talk to others and be patient, like I expect the Lord to be with me. Its a growing process!
  • Lu2677 on Matthew 24 - 9 years ago
Irene 123 Re;Rev.7:14,you said we cannot know how the saints are saved during the great tribulation. If you read Rev.7:2and 3 it says the angels sealed them, and that saved them. They were the 12 tribes. It would help you if you would read the whole chapter, or at least read the verse in context.
  • A disciple on Deuteronomy 28 - 9 years ago
Thank you, Irene: 2 Timothy 2:16-17 (Stephen's 1550 Textus Receptus) "but profane empty babblings stand aloof from; for they will advance of ungodliness (without piety), and their word as a gangrene will have pasture;..." What was the connection with Deut. 28? I can think, that the evolution of evil over centuries of defiance toward God and His Covenant, absolutely fills up what the Apostle wrote.
  • Helen on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
I just want to thank God almighty for all is numerous promises upon those who truly believe and call upon his name. Father lord thank you. May your goodness and mercy endures forever, Amen
  • Lu2577 on 1 Samuel 28 - 9 years ago
Irene 123 What scripture says Christ freed the captive dead saints from the clutches of Satan after his ascension. And where did he hold them captive? If you do not substantiate what you say with scripture, it becomes your opinion. Opinions won't save, correct, or edify anyone. You say"it's God's word";what book and verse? From the KJV, reference from one the 66 books, please.
  • Lu2677 on Romans 1 - 9 years ago
Romans1:18-19,V.20"For the invisable things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being clearly understood by the that are made even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse," 21-22

Proverbs 4:7"Wisdom is the principle thing;therefor get wisdom: and in all your getting, get understanding"
  • Lu2677 on Esther 5 - 9 years ago
The book of Esther is interesting. She was obedient and patient and courageous. She was not self seeking.
  • Dave BLACKLEY on Colossians 2 - 9 years ago
Verse 16. I shall agree with Bruce in that Paul was not given authority to alter Gods word and in like manner Jesus himself clearly states that he does not either, have that power. We do not dispute The Jesus bore our sins, God Forbid and that his life was sacrificed so that we may be forgiven. However man does not know sin, had it not been for the laws and statutes of God spoken through Moses.
  • Lu2677 on Deuteronomy 28 - 9 years ago
Irene 123 I have comments here. Would you mind quoting what I have said that is: vain, profane, and babbling so that I can repent. If you don't, I would say your motive for giving 2 Tim. 2:16 is not fitting with the other scripture in that chapter. The others might want to know the same. I see nothing unlawful for my consideration to disciple to answer the questions.
  • Lu2677 on Psalms 5 - 9 years ago
Dilu, Psalms 5:5 Yes, you were wrong. The truth is;God hates the sinner. And in V.9and10 David prays and asks God to destroy them. Most people refuse to believe it, they are in rebellion against the Lord. I hope God gives you wisdom to understand His Truth.
