  • Irene123 on Daniel 1 - 9 years ago
Since the day God br't Israel from Egypt, they have been rebellious. But - there was always a 'remnant', albeit only at one time only Joshua 'n Caleb. The church today is the same way. There are people attending faithfully, but - they are lifted up with pride - over their tithing, how long they've been in the church, the offc. they hold, whatever. God has to open their eyes thru the preaching.

GOD,Is Good And HE Will Do What HE, Said ...
  • Maria Morales - 9 years ago
According to Ps80:8, Israel is the vine and branch. God has cast them off their land and has set Jerusalem on fire. This was accomplished by both Babylon and Rome. The land is desolate when the children of Israel are not in it. As it is today. But soon, they will return again to never be removed again. Praise ye the Lord for His mercy endureth forever.
  • Maria Morales on Ezekiel 14 - 9 years ago
God is angry with the elders of Israel for they trusted in idols and wanted to inquire of the true God as well, thus condemning them and the prophets who prophesied lies unto them. Also, when Jerusalem sins against God he will send famine, sword, and pestilence against them and no one can deliver them from this judgement. Nevertheless, God always leaves a remnant. Even now, there is a remnant.
  • Irene123 on Ezekiel 29 - 9 years ago
To think at one time - God BLESSED Nebby of Babylon. I very seldom read in Eze., but I have taken some GOOD verses from it, but never 'noticed' 18. I'm going to see what Henry has to say about it.
  • Irene123 on Ezekiel 28 - 9 years ago
To Charley on Eze.18 - At the bottom of every 'comment' page (or top) there 'commentary' by Matthew Henry. I read it just now and the Lord's spirit let me know what Henry says is - true. M. Henry was 'led' of God; Just like King Cyrus was in rebuilding the Temple.
  • Maria Morales on Ezekiel 13 - 9 years ago
God was angry with the prophets who were lying to the king of Judah and prophesying lies saying there would be peace for Jerusalem when God had spoken by his prophets captivity, famine and pestilence if they didn't surrender to the king of Babylon. The daughters here are witches doing witchcraft which is against the law of Yah.
  • Maria Morales on Ezekiel 12 - 9 years ago
This prophecy is concerning the Babylonian captivity. The king was carried away and his eyes plucked out by the king of Babylon. God also sent them famine and that's why it says they would eat and drink their food carefully. They had to ration it.(verse 18).

I look to this Psalm and think about the troubles and struggles of David. I reach for this Psalm when I need coverage. I have offered it to my son today as he is working through some snipper fire and prosecutorial attacks from the enemy. It is always a fortress for me. Praise God

  • Joyce Ballentine on Mark 8 - 9 years ago
JESUS HAD TO REBUKE PETER, ONE OF HIS DISCIPLES CAUSE PETER DID NOT UNDERSTAND AT THIS POINT HIS TRUE PURPOSE IN DYING FOR OUR SINS! REBUKING IS PART OF BEING DISCIPLED BY GOD SO WE CAN LEARN TO LIVE AND DO BETTER CAUSE OF THIS SINFUL NATURE! HOW CAN WE BE A DISCIPLE WITHOUT DISCIPLINE??? NOBODY LIVING IN THIS WORLD GETS EVERYTHING RIGHT ALL THE TIME! Hebrews 12:11 "No DISCIPLINE seems pleasant a
  • Jacobo on Numbers 16 - 9 years ago
Always be contented with your position and gift of God in your life. Crossing, Envying and Coveting others Ministry is really dangerous.
John Buyan song said He that is down need fear for fall , he that is low no pride he that is humble shall ever have God his Guide.
Great lesson for me and you to learn. Humility is great before God.
  • Leola on Genesis 8 - 9 years ago
It is clear from these passages that the descendants of Cain were destroyed from the face of the earth. After the earth was replenished with people they were scattered at the tower of Babel, and became many races of people. Out of one of the twelve tribes of the Jewish race Jesus descends. Jesus was definitely a Jew. The Jews crucified him, because he proclaimed himself to be their King; Messiah.
  • Leola on Genesis 4 - 9 years ago
This is indeed true as stated, Jesus descended out of the faithful bloodline of Seth, which is called the true Jewish bloodline today. This is why the Jews are called God's chosen people, because the Messiah would descend from this bloodline.
There were other people on earth during this time they just were not a chosen people. Many of them had their blood tainted with the blood of fallen angels.

  • Miriam on John 17 - 9 years ago
John 17 clearly shows us that Jesus pleaded for our case then as he is still doing now before our Father.Jesus extended the love and blessings from God to whoever believes, seeks and acknowledges Him.

Jesus further asks God to bless his followers while still in the world not to take us out of it but to keep evil away from them.
God's love is so manifested by Jesus,Glory to Him

  • Joyce Bush on Psalms 23 - 9 years ago
Psalm 23...You are right, John. I discovered the reality of this "living" Scripture during a very low, intense struggle in my life "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil" Psalm 23:4We have the Lord's promise never to leave us nor forsake us Hebrews 13:5.

To Bryan Kearley on Gen. 1 - Me too; I've tried to imagine God before anything He created, and - I got - scared, or 'hesitant' to go any farther because - we can't. One day we will see Him as He is and also know ALL things. There are also the secret things of God - that belong only to him.
  • Bryankearley on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago

  • Irene123 on Leviticus 10 - 9 years ago
Nadab, Abihu; They were priests for the OUTER COURT only; NOT for the Holy of Holies. ONLY Aaron was to do that service. It says NOTHING about N. and A. being drunk. They were PRESUMPTIOUS. God does not condone presumptuous sin. They KNEW their place. They may have been drunk, but stating such is also - presumptiuos
