Jesus is God. He's part of the Godhead. Romans chapter 1. When he was being tried by the Pharisees, He said: I and my Father are one.

The Scriptures about the Godhead. Sometimes called "Let Us" in some passages. These scriptures are evidence of all 3 persons of the Godhead speaking to each other.

    Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD so that they are without excuse:"

    Genesis 1:1

    The Father purposes

The Word (Jesus) speaks. ( John 1:1)

The Spirit (Holy Spirit) executes the spoken word. Action.

Jesus is returning sooner than we all think. Matthew 24 and Luke 21 give us specific signs to watch for. They will increase near the end of days

Something else...this world we call home is going to pass away. We know that it's going to end and be renewed to what God created in Genesis. Before we polluted it and destroyed it with greed and technology. 2 PETER CHAPTER 3.

No sense in trying to save it now as Biden dreams he can with boatloads of tax money. God promised never to flood the World again. But it is going to burn up. It already is beginning. See, beloved children, IT IS NOT GLOBAL WARMING. The earth is responding to the WORD OF GOD.

It's coming apart now: forest fires, worldwide droughts, polluted ground water from human belligerence; continent sized floating islands of garbage in both hemispheres. Earthquakes and Volcanos, floods: with increasing intensity. FAULTS once thought long dead will become active. As the end wars are fought, we'll see space objects hit earth, our cities. Food will be used against us to force us to take THE MARK OF THE BEAST, ANTICHRIST. One world currency will be forced on us next. One world religion. Individuality, no more.

    Take the Mark=DEATH

    Take Jesus=LIFE ETERNAL

    Hi Brother Chris,

Thank you for taking your time to respond, and I appreciate your comments, and related scripture.

You stated: "If anyone believes that the keeping of the Law is necessary to be saved, or that both the Cross & strict obedience to the Law is required to be saved, then a clear problem exists."

What is your definition of strict obedience of the law? Is trying our best to adhere to God's 10 commandments too strict? Jesus asks us to keep the commandments. John 14:15. The apostles strived to kept the commandments 1John 5:3. I believe that as good Christians we must also strive to keep God's commandments and in doing so, will help us, to produce the good works that are acceptable to God.

So, I believe that with our Faith, we will be blessed with Grace, and it should lead us toward obedience to God. I believe we agree on this. Where we may disagree is: Faith alone will not assure being saved. Many Christians today believe they can say they have faith and believe, but continue to live in their worldly sin, and they still expect that they will inherit the kingdom of God.

I believe, Jesus says otherwise in scripture, and here again emphasizes keeping the commandments, and producing good work if wanting to enter the kingdom of heaven.

    Revelation 12:12-14

12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Brother Chris, you and I will not be the judge, Jesus will be, and he is telling us right here in scripture plainly, what is required of us, to gain entry in through the gates into the city! In essence, we have the Judge telling us before he judges us - what he will be looking for in us!

    Peace, and God Bless.

The wild beast here at revelation 13 is identifying two beast. (is a Man's number #666...1 John 5:19)

It speaks like a dragon (Satan the Devil is liken to a dragon Revelation 12:7-12.

The Devil and his demons tells lies.- Genesis 3- John 8:44; Matthew 4:1-11.

but believes and shudders- mark 1:23-26; James 2:19 )

Satan Gives this wild beast power, a seat (throne), great authority on the earth. this beast is fatally wounded, mortal wounds (Wars/Billions slaughtered).it speaks great things and blasphemies. (speaks against God, blaspheme his name. (Through the centuries bible translations has taken out God's name. "not this king James". those who translated the bible were not ordinary men but "religious leaders"- Psalm 83:18)

This wild beast was permitted to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them.

( Example:70 C.E Destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans. Hitler Germany concentration camp

slaughter holy ones from 1933 to 1945 etc. Religious leaders supported him and walked with Hitler holding up arms with him) has authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue,

    and nation.

    This wild beat descends out of the earth;

tells others to make an image. (what images can you think of?)

Those who refuse to worship this image to the wild beast is killed.

who are mislead by this man (#666 mark/more then one man) influenced by Satan the devil?

and who is mislead to worship and bow to this image?

All people (Follows the wild beast or with admiration, worships it)

    1. The rich

    2. The poor

    3. The free

    4. The slaves

This wild beast (This Man, a PERSON, He/This mark 666 has authority.

any man who had or has this mark) buys and sells

( Luke 4:6 This Wild beast is very rich from those worshiping and admiring him)

    Shellon Hooten,

Revelation is hard, for one, it is not in chronological order, and not all has been revealed to us. Pray and keep in mind there are answers we may never be given. At this time there have been 3.5 years of tribulation by Satan, the beast, the false prophet, and the great whore Babylon, and Babylon was just destroyed by the ten kings/countries of the beast. ( Revelation 17, 18).

These same ten kings/kingdoms/countries will make war with Jesus, ( Revelation 17:14). They were rejoicing in heaven and "his wife hath made herself ready" and "Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb" ( Revelation 19:1-10).

In ( Revelation 19:11-21) we see Jesus coming with his armies, ( Matthew 25:31) that were in heaven, and the call to the fowls to gather to the supper of the great God. ( Ezekiel 39: 17-20) There are more scriptures on the coming of Jesus, ( Matthew 24: 29-31) ( Mark 13:24-27) ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17), and more. The beast and false prophet are cast into the lake of fire and the remnant of the armies are destroyed by the sword proceeding out of the mouth of Jesus. The power of His word wiped them out.

Then in Revelation 20, Satan is locked in the bottomless pit, to be there for one thousand years, and Jesus sets up His Kingdom and the camp of the saints. So scripture tells us when Jesus returns with all His holy angels/armies, He sends angels to gather His elect. Who are in this first resurrection? The description of them is in ( Revelation 20:4). Are they all that will be saved? Are they the most loyal elect that is given this honor? The key is the white throne judgment, is it only for the lost as taught? Why is the book of life opened ( Revelation 20:12)? Should we not consider ( Matthew 25:31-46) ( John 5:28-29) ( Acts 24:15). Do we overlook ( Revelation 20:15)?

I know this does not answer your question, if it can be answered, but may it inspire study.

    God bless,

    RLW

he (King of Persia) helped rebuild Jerusalem ( Daniel 10:1). yes, if a prophecy hasn't yet happened... it will happen; and it will be fulfilled and accomplished. ( Isaiah 46:10,11)

    Fulfilled Prophecy:

    Destruction of Jerusalem 70 c.e ( Luke 21:5,6; John 4:21)

Revelation was written and represented in signs. meaning using people, persons (Warning examples of wicked people and their actions) to describe the message. for example, according to Revelations 6:1-8:

1.The Red Horse: Peace taken from the earth.. They will slaughter one another (Civil wars, the deadly war WWI & WWII etc.)

    2. The Black Horse: (Famine The Great depression etc.)

    3. The pale Horse: Deadly plague...The Grave/Death ( 1918 influenza pandemic, HIV, Flu, Common cold,

    Covid-19,Delta variant etc.)

Why is the world in critical condition?

Satan was hurled down from heaven and is misleading nations rulers and kings:

    1 John 5:19; Genesis 3; Genesis chapter 6 and 9;

    Luke and Matthew 4; Ephesians 6:11-13; Revelation 12:7-12;

    2 Corinthians 4:4

What is the result of Satan the devil's influence:

    2 Timothy 3:1-7

    Matthew 24

    1 Corinthians 6:9,10; Ephesians 5:5

What will Jesus do since his father gave him all authority?

    ( Matthew 24:14;28:18-20)

    1. Revelation 11:15;20 Chapter

    2. Revelation 11:18

    3. John 5:28,29; Revelation 21:3-5;22 Chapter

    Who is law for?

    1 Timothy 1:8-10

    2 Timothy 3:16,17

    Righteous Judgment

    ** John 7:24 **

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

    2 Thessalonians 1:5

Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

    Romans 2:5

    But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

    1 John 3:7

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

    Ezekiel 3:21

Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

    Matthew 10:41

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

    Matthew 23:28

Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

    John 5:22

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Once I got busted by Jesus for judging. We were street ministering; and all the Catholics would drive by the Catholic Church, tip their beers and holler out the priests names. honk the horn at us :/

The Holy Spirit leaned on me and said quietly but no nonsense..DO NOT JUDGE !

All you can do is fall down and say YESSIR!!!

(cont) in the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts of the Bible. Agape is a higher form of unconditional, Godly love and philia is a lesser form used for friendship or brotherly love. The ignorant criticize the KJV translators for translating "agape" simply as love. The truth is the Greek words agapao/agape and phileo/philia overlap in the manuscripts, and there's no discernible difference between the two in the Scripture. For example, 2 Samuel 13:15 says, "Then Amnon hated her exceedingly; so that the hatred wherewith he hated her was greater than the love wherewith he had loved her. And Amnon said unto her, Arise, be gone." The problem is that both agapao and the cognate agape can refer to Amnon's incestuous rape of his half sister Tamar. Also, backslidden Demas who loves the world with agape love. "For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica;" 2 Timothy 4:10. There's John 3:35 that says, "The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand,"; later John 5:20 says, "For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth." The Father's love for the Son, which is without question the greatest love, is described as "agape love" in one instance and "phileo love" in the other, and by the same author, John. Houston, we have a problem. The point is there isn't a way to know what kind of love each of these Greek words is referring to in Scripture. Context is key. Bottom line, the Bible's been translated into English, and the 47 translators of the King James Bible did an inerrant, infallible job. You and today's scholars and translators, not so much. Knowing Greek is fine for reading and understanding Greek myths and literature, but not for reading and understanding Scripture, which is God's written word. One thing more, I don't care that you consult the Greek to study your Bible, but I do care when you imply or suggest that it's better to defer to the Greek to know the truth of Scripture.

Part I Gospel of the kingdom =

Gospel of the circumcision ( Galatians 2:7; Acts 3:25-26; Genesis 17:9-14)

Preached by John, Jesus, and the 12 ( Matthew 3:2; Matthew 4:17; Matthew 4:23; Matthew 9:35; Matthew 10:5-8)

Justification without works is dead ( James 2:17; James 2:20; James 2:24; James 2:26)

Repentance emphasized along with faith ( Mark 1:15; Luke 3:8-14; Acts 3:19)

John 1:14-15: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me."

This describes Jesus being the Word.

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

This says the Word (Jesus) was God.

Genesis 1:26 "Let US make" (plural).

John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."

Isaiah 7:14 - Jesus is called Immanuel which means "God with us".

God the father is referred to as God. I think most understand this. God also can refer to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I think most Bible readers understand this too. Jesus became a man and prayed to God, His Father. While being man he was still God. This does not mean He was his Father.

So, the human argument ignores scripture and claims Jesus wasn't ever God, because they can't humanly imagine Jesus talking to himself. This is a strawman argument, because no one believes Jesus was praying to himself.

The human argument against Jesus being part of the God head is akin to the skit of "Who's on first." Imagine an orange consisting of skin, pulp, and seeds like the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as described in 1 JOHN 5:7. Someone claims "the skin isn't part of the orange, because it's different than the seeds. Because it's impossible for the seeds to be the same as the skin, so it must not be an orange! Only one of the 3 can be an orange, so the other parts must not be part of the orange."

I also think there's an underlying spiritual battle occurring here. One must ask why someone is so motivated to undermine and discredit Jesus's divinity? Who would be behind such a goal? We know the answer. Tread carefully, stay in the Bible, and pray deeply about this before attacking Jesus on a website of Jesus followers.

    Matthew 18:6, Matthew 12:36-37

Here is a prayer to receive Jesus. Pray this prayer with sincerity of heart

"Dear God, I believe in you and that your Son, Jesus Christ, is Lord. I believe in His sacrifice for my sins and His resurrection from the dead. I repent and ask forgiveness for my sins and I'm deciding now to follow you. Please, come into my life through the gift of your Holy Spirit. It is in the Lord Jesus' name that I ask and receive, Amen."

The Bible says doing these things with sincerity means you are a Christian (Christ follower) and will have eternal life in heaven.

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:13

Use caution in trusting your feelings, as feelings change. Stand on God's promises- they never change.

Open up John chapter 3 and read that story to him.

    God bless you both.

Below are scriptures everyone should read and pray deeply for wisdom and understanding for. Beware of anyone trying to attack, disrespect, or demean Jesus or the name of Jesus. Jesus loves you and died for you. Scripture indicates that Jesus is God. Jesus is not God the father, but God the son. The 3 are all united as 1. There aren't 3 separate gods, there is 1 God with 3 parts as 1 John 5:7 says. We could debunk every one of the deniers' disengenuous arguments, but that would take a lot of space and most are closed off anyway. The same info is also online in countless websites. Satan loves going after any weakness he can find and people keep falling for the same tricks. Christians should simply pray about this and ask the holy spirit to either confirm or convict them on what the truth is. God bless...

    Genesis 11:6-7

Read all of the scriptures and ignore the cultists who stray from God's Word or distort scripture. Even children can understand what these verses mean so I think some adults are just wanting to reinforce what they already want to believe, because it's convenient for other reasons. Is a Christian a real Christ follower if he doesn't believe in the divinity of Christ? That is something we should pray deeply and study deeply about.

This sounds like an intellectually disingenuous question. Even children understand the concept of the Godhead or trinity- it's straight from God's word. If you don't understand it, that's fine, have you tried praying for wisdom and understanding. It's possible some of these comments are games a person is playing to try to pull some away from the truth to his cult-like beliefs not from the Bible. That's like doing the work of the devil. Here's some good reading material for the cultists.

    1 John 5:7

    Genesis 1:26

    Genesis 11:6-7

    John 10:30

    John 8:19

    John 1:1

    Philippians 2:5 - 2:8

    2 Corinthians 5:19

    John 1:3

    1 John 5:7

    1 Peter 1:2

    2 Corinthians 13:14

    Deuteronomy 6:4

    John 14:10

    John 20:28

    1 John 5:8

Not sure how you like these verses in the Bible then, because it clearly says Jesus is God. To deny this is to deny God's word:

1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."

John 8:19 "if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also."

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

    "the Word was God."

That's hard to deny that truth. Let's read that again.

    "the Word was God."

And it sounds like you're saying "the Word wasn't God." The Bible says one thing, you're saying another- the opposite.

Satan is the father of lies and he is no doubt behind every major deception, especially among Christians. A Christian is a Christ follower. Does that term bother you since you deny the above verses about His diety? This twisting of scripture in order to achieve a certain narrative seems awfully like the CNN version of the Bible.

Let's continue with more truth in scripture to refute the false assumptions posted here...

Philippians 2:5 - 2:8 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:"

John 1:3 - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"

Deuteronomy 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:"

John 14:10 "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

    John 20:28

"And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God."

1 John 5:8 "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."

    Hi Chris,

The Apostle John also supports what you are saying in John 5:18 :

"Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God."

Verses showing God speaking to Jesus and one of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove for John the Baptist to witness:

    Matthew 3:17

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

    Luke 9:35

And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

    Mark 1:11

And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

    Mark 9:7

And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

    Luke 3:22

And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, AND a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

    Matthew 17:5

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Following are verses clearly of the Godhead speaking to each other:

The Scriptures about the Godhead. Sometimes called "Let Us..." in some passages. These scriptures are evidence of all 3 persons of the Godhead speaking to each other.

    Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD so that they are without excuse:"

    Genesis 1:1

    The Father purposes

The Word (Jesus) speaks. ( John 1:1)

The Spirit (Holy Spirit) executes the spoken word. Action.

All working together. Jesus came to show us the Father, as Emmanuel.

    Matthew 1:23

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, "God with us."

You may want to note these verses inside your Bible cover.

    Bless your patience, Mishael

Dear God, I believe in you and that your Son, Jesus Christ, is Lord. I believe in His sacrifice for my sins and His resurrection from the dead. I repent and ask forgiveness for my sins and I'm deciding now to follow you. Please, come into my life through the gift of your Holy Spirit. It is in the Lord Jesus' name that I ask and receive, Amen.

The Bible says doing these things with sincerity means you are a Christian and will have eternal life in heaven.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

    Brother Carleton:

I BELIEVE that Jesus did MAKE A CHOICE; BUT:

Philippians 2:13 For it is God (SPIRIT) that WORKETH IN YOU (in Christ, also) Both TO WILL and TO DO of his (the SPIRIT'S) good pleasure.

John 5:30 I can or MYSELF DO NOTHING: as I hear (the SPIRIT), I judge (by the SPIRIT), and my judgement (by the SPIRIT) is just; because I seek not my own will, but THE WILL of the Father (SPIRIT) which hath SENT ME.

John 10:18 No man taketh IT (LIFE by SPIRIT) from me, but I lay IT (LIFE by SPIRIT) down of myself (I can of myself do nothing). I have power (by the SPIRIT) to take IT (LIFE by SPIRIT) again. This commandment ( John 15:10) have I received of my Father.

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, into thy hands (God; SPIRIT) I commend my (the Father's) SPIRIT ( Ephesians 4:4 there is ONE BODY, and ONE SPIRIT......)( John 17:21)

Remember the bible is the words of CHRIST (the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit).

Psalms 56:11 IN GOD (SPIRIT) have I (the SON) put my trust: I (the Son) will not be afraid of what man can do to me.

Jesus gave his body of flesh for us, so we are able to never see DEATH; because SPIRIT NEVER DIES.

You MUST be born of the SPIRIT (TRUTH).
