    Amen Brother Jesse.

    Revised.

I would like to point out something in Daniel 9

In Daniel 9:26 it reads, "and THE PEOPLE OF THE PRINCE THAT SHALL COME shall destroy the city and the sanctuary"

Who destroyed the sanctuary? The Romans Empire!

The Romans that destroyed the Sanctuary is not called Jesus people!

Jesus is not the prince of the Romans Empire!

    That's the Antichrist.

I hold the view that this Empire stands today!

I believe every Kingdom mentioned in Daniel had a demonic prince behind them as we see in Daniel 10:13-21.

We see these prince appear behind the scene in chronological order in the text when studied carefully.

    Daniel 10:21 reads.

"I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

The next prince is the "prince that shall come" is the Antichrist mentioned in Daniel 9:26.

The Prince of the Romans kingdom!

    Blessings."

    (Revelation Part 53b):

    Revelation 14:7 Continued

So here came the guilt. "We aren't doing our job." Some even went as far as to say that Jesus would have come back by now, but we haven't been doing our jobs. We've got to get out and reach the world for Christ. So out of guilt and human effort, not by the power of the Holy Spirit, people are put under this very stressful teaching.

The Lord's already got it taken care of. If it was left up to us, the Lord would never come, because once you've reached the last person in the world, somebody else is born. Nobody's ever completely reached. So, in my own way of thinking, I'm saying that I'm not going to fall for that one!

But you see, God already has it covered. During the Tribulation Period, before He comes back at His second coming, He's going to have the men testifying there in Jerusalem, and He's going to have angels flying in mid-heaven preaching the gospel to people and telling them don't take the mark of the beast, but worship God. All of the world is going to be reached. It is God's timetable!

Hopefully you have figured it out that we can't do God's work for Him, and that you don't get caught up in that!

    (Revelation Part 53a):

Revelation 14:7 - Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God,

You see, people were in between making a decision. I can't eat; I can't participate in the world's economic system unless I get that mark. But you know those two witnesses, those two guys on TV, they are telling me don't take it. And here's this angel flying in mid-heaven telling people do not take the mark of the beast.

Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Now I want to make a comment to you before we get to the second angel. This is very important!

We have various movements that take place within the body of Christ periodically. We've got the great commission going now. Several years ago, a movement started when people said that Jesus said in Matthew 24:14 that He can't come until all the nations are reached with the gospel. They said He wouldn't come until all the nations are reached.

    (Revelation Part 52):

Revelation 14:4 - These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. There have been debates over this over the years. But you will see from 2 Kings 19:21, Isaiah 37:22, Jeremiah 14:17, 18:13, 31:4, 5, 21, Amos 5:2 and many other places in the Old Testament that Israel is called the virgin of God.

And these are all spiritual terms, especially 2 Kings 19:21. There are many of them. That's why in the New Testament, when Paul said in 2 Corinthians 11:2, he says I have engaged you to God, and God is a jealous God.

In James 4:4, James says that to be friends with this world is to commit adultery against God. This is spiritual. We are the bride of Christ. We're the bride in waiting. Spiritually we belong to Him. The 144,000 did not involve themselves in the religious system of the world. They remained pure. They are virgins. They are the Israel that was described in the Old Testament.

These are they which follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. The firstfruits was always the first crop, part of the crop that would come up in the harvest. When the 144,000 were sealed, they were the first of God's fruit, saved, in the time of tribulation.

    (Revelation Part 51):

Revelation 14:1 - And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

John looks up and he sees a lamb standing on Mount Sion. And with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. That's the 144,000 Jews who were sealed back in Chapter 7, that at Christ's second coming, He will gather them to Himself there in Jerusalem at Mount Sion.

Revelation 14:2 - And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

These are not harps. These instruments are called lyres (KITHARAIS), which are guitar type instruments rather than a harp that we would think of.

Revelation 14:3 - And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

    They're saved, they're sealed, the 144,000!

    (Revelation Part 50):

Revelation 13:18 - Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Now I'm sure you probably are already aware that there are many books out there adding up people's names, putting numerical equivalence to alphabet numbers, and adding up people's names to be six hundred and sixty-six. This has been going on for a long time.

But if I may point out that everything that we've studied in this chapter is telling us that there is Satan's trinity (if you would), the dragon, the antichrist, and the false prophet are the shadows of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Here's what I can share on this:

Let him that understands count the number of the beast, and notice this: For it is the number of man, not "a man," not "the man," just man. Adam was created on the sixth day. Six is the number that is one less than perfection or completeness. So, all the way through scripture it was the number of man. Man was created by God, but he falls short of completeness because he's a sinner.

He says for it is the number of man; and his number is 666, not six hundred and sixty-six. You see, it's the number six three times. It's the number of man, and each six stands for one of the three in Satan's trinity. It doesn't add up to six hundred and sixty-six. It's six three times!

And that's the number that a person must take to function in the one world government that's about to come to pass here on the earth.

    Ronald,

    (Part 2):

The antichrist is going to break this covenant he makes with Israel. He will break it right in the middle of the 7-years, and as you mentioned, and I agree to, he will reign for 3-1/2 years. If it were Jesus making this covenant, He would not break it.

Revelation may not mention a 7-year period, but there are things that take place during a 7-year time frame. During the first 3-1/2 years, there will be two witnesses evangelizing in the streets, along with 144,000 Jews who will be sealed, plus, an angel flying in mid-heaven for 3-1/2 years warning people not to take the mark of the beast. So, that's the first 3-1/2. And then, as you mentioned, the antichrist steps in right in the middle of this 7-year period and reigns for 3-1/2 years, the last half of the 7-year tribulation known as the Great Tribulation.

Brother, I know we don't agree on this and we probably won't agree with each other on this one, but it is still nice to share our views and understanding with each other. I would even venture to say that there are views that differ from both of ours. May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly.

    God Bless!!!

    Hello Ronald,

I have to agree with you that many interpret a 7-year tribulation based on Daniel 9:27 because I am one of the many. In fact, it is my understanding that all prophecies concerning the last days are based upon Daniel 9:24-27, which presents the 70th week of Daniel.

I agree that the beast is only given 42 months (3-1/2 years), not 7-years. This will be the last 3-1/2 years of the 7-year tribulation period. I do not agree that 70th week of Daniel has already been fulfilled as you probably have figured out from my previous posts over the years.

My understanding is that the antichrist is the one who confirms this covenant with Israel, not Jesus. In Daniel 9:24-27, we see the word prince twice. The first time is in Verse 25. This is Jesus. He is called Messiah the Prince. Please notice that the word Prince is in CAPS. But then in Verse 26, He is cut off (crucified).

In Verse 26 we see the word prince again. This time, in lower case because this is not Jesus but the antichrist. In Verse 27, it says he, this prince (antichrist) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.

This one week is 7-years. We don't know the time frame, but as soon as the church is removed, as soon as the tribulation period begins, there will be seven years, that is, one week, 1 seven in Jewish literature. There will be seven years of tribulation.

I don't agree that the "he" in Daniel 9:27 is Jesus. It is the prince that shall come after Jesus is crucified. Again, notice the word prince used twice in Verses 24-27. Prince has a capital "P" which refers to Jesus in Verse 25. This prince that confirms the covenant with the Jews is the antichrist.

This would make sense as to why Jesus would say in John 5:43, "I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive."

    National sovereignty and world government

and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. (end of Daniel 9:26).

The very next verse refers to the covenant of the Antichrist so it would seem that war will continue either throughout the Tribulation period or until it begins; based on the wars and rumors of wars Jesus mentioned before the end comes ( Matt. 24:6).

That is bolstered further with the peace; peace when there is no peace which we see in Isaiah as well as Jeremiah. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 seems to indicate either people calling for peace and safety or perhaps more likely a temporary appearance of such since it is followed by sudden destruction.

James states that we war because we want or lust after things ( James 4:1 loosely interpreted). The same principle applies with prayer in the wrong way to consume things on our own lusts or desires ( James 4:3).

As of today; in particular with the Ukrainian "special operation" if even Russia still refers to it as that there is nationalism as the prime motivator. Money talks; as they say so that as we see with the apparent Middle East attempts to continue with the Abraham Accords in further expansion everyone gets a piece of the pie and we certainly see reflections of the Prophet Daniel warning about dividing the land for gain. This "spoil" is what will finally bring down the Russians; Turkey and other northern confederate nations to attack Israel; likely after they feel they are secure and as scriptures state "without walls" with a surprise attack. Consider how surprising it would be if it was literally on horses as the prophet Ezekiel states ( Ezekiel 38:4).

Prophetically speaking the Rapture could be any day now; but it is in God's timing unknown to us; so He could delay it. I tend to think that one world government could exist for quite some time before the Antichrist takes over; in any case in final form his kingdom is for one hour ( Rev. 17:12).

Rev.14.9-10" Wrath of the Lamb" (2 of 2)

" And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done." (16.17)

The everlasting Covenant and Everlasting gospel are intertwined. Consequently the Lamb breaks open seven seals. Seven trumpets and seven vials are set in sequence so we have the first fruits are set apart on mount Sion awaiting the saints to be redeemed from among men. The beasts are also seven in number, "And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition" (17.11) So the mark of the beast is not a onetime shot but is clearly stated in the following passage, "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand," Mark in his forehead is the will to disobey continually; by the same token 'his mark in his hand' is serving the will to do evil' and we have seen the evil in the Christian world where the churches have colluded with evil regimes, so be not deceived, brethren," "The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:/And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

Without holding the two worlds of the Spirit and of the body the imposter churches make the single measurement for the holy city of God and the doctrine of Christ blurred. Hence these heresies.

Rev.14.9-10 Wrath of the Lamb (1 of 2)

"If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,/The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation."

In the divine Will of the Father the sanctified ones are set apart on mount Sion. They are the first fruits. The parables of Jesus were not merely story telling. The Parable of the Tares and of the Wicked Husbandmen were of the harvest. In Mt.21.41 we have "and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons." Fruits in their season would mean that the earth must be ripe for harvest. It is thus the earth is reaped. (1415-16) And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe./And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped." Where is rapture, brethren? God does not require jejune fools in his basket; neither shall gather unripe grapes for his table.

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."(14.12)

In Ch.6 when the Lamb opens the fifth seals we have the altar of souls already set in the will of the Father,"And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled." (6.10-11) Fulfillment of his Will entails the death of his Son and the emblem of the Lamb slain cannot fail. It is thus the wrath of the Lamb is certain in order to establish the everlasting kingdom. "

    Rev.14.3 "As it were"

And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth"

In Rev.5 we have the new song sung as a direct response to the Lamb prevailing upon to open the book. "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof:" They sung, the Spirit wants you to remember that.

The 144,000 which were redeemed from the earth, the Spirit is particular to state,'sung as it were a new song before the throne" The difference is that these following wherever the Lamb goes are set apart before the worlds began so 144 is as significant as they are virgins'. The Spirit adds, "and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth...These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb." From among men they were redeemed and it is the Will of the Father. So the 144 is a compound number as we have the throne of God and of the Lamb which squarely set as the feature the Gospel. God set the life of man as 120 years (Gen.6.3) As with Noah so with all saints redeemed from among men.(12x10) is a command number as 12x12 where both Gather and the Son are in agreement. They are without fault, "And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God." In the divine Will 'These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.'(v.4) As a token this bond forged by the gospel they bear the name,' having his Father's name written in their foreheads.'. Thus they are first fruits."The earth is ripe' and we have the harvest

14.15-19 " And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God." In v.20 The Word is God and his wrath is expressed in terms of 4x4x1000 furlongs.

    Jesse, thanks, brother,

I understand that many interpret a 7-year tribulation based on Daniel 9:27. In Revelation 12, when Satan is cast out of heaven onto earth, Revelation 12:12 says, "Woe to the inhabiters of the earth." He is filled with great wrath. Satan makes war, not peace. Revelation 13:1-5 explains that Satan gives the beast his power, his seat, and great authority. This beast is only given 42 months to reign. The book of Revelation does not mention seven years anywhere; instead, this beast is only granted 42 months from the time he rises.

Daniel 9: Daniel realized the 70 years of captivity were ending and prayed for himself and Israel, asking God for mercy so they could return to their homeland. Gabriel appeared to show Daniel a vision of his people, the house of Israel, and the holy city, Jerusalem. This prophecy foretold when the Messiah would come.

Seventy weeks are determined upon Daniel's people and the holy city. I will keep this short; to cover all this would take many posts. The 7 years are taken from Daniel 9:27, attributing he as being the antichrist, the beast in Revelation.

The entire prophecy is about the coming Messiah; 490 years are given to fulfill the 6 things listed in verse 24, with the judgment for their abominations and the rejection and killing of the Messiah that will be carried out on the city in verse 26.

In verse 26, it says that after 62 weeks, the Messiah will be cut off/crucified. The first 7 weeks must be added, totaling 69 weeks; this would make it during the 70th week. The 70th week has been fulfilled, and due to their rejection of the Messiah/Jesus, the city and temple were destroyed because they overspread abominations. Jesus was the he who confirmed the covenant.

Matthew 23 Matthew 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Jesus caused the sacrifice and oblation to cease because it pointed to Him. Matthew 27:51, the veil of the temple rent, and Hebrews 10.

    God bless,

    Rev.14:1-6 Mount Sion

"And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads."

The Lamb is the emblem same as was introduced before the throne..In Ch.5 he received the book from the Word which was with God. Here we have no 'a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice' but "And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:" The 24 elders and four beast associated with harps are heard and what does 'the voice of many waters and as the voice of a great thunder indicate. We see the risen Christ in the inaugural vision of St John the voice was identical, 'and his voice as the sound of many waters.' The Spirit does not leave loose ends around. He introduced these elements to keep the continuity of Christ as the Word become flesh. As proof of this consider the voice of a great thunder' and it is the gospel of God coming from the throne of God. The Law of the Spirit sets it as seven thunders. We are shown in Ch.10. St John would write but tthe voice from heaven is heard,"And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices./And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not."(Rev.10.3-4). The silence in heaven (Rev.8.1) informs us why. The word become flesh has already fulfilled it. So what we are looking here is the complete will of God and the Spirit is presenting it as already done. What is left undone is signified by the little book. "Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."(10.11) So we are looking at the events from the Word which was with God.

    S. Spencer,

It must feel good to be back home.

    Hope your body adjusts readily.

To be honest, I don't think anyone enters a discussion or study without prior conceptions or knowledge. Being humble to admit this to God when doing this and asking Him to help your understanding of His revelation to us and to change our thinking and approach is important for all of us to do. The Holy Spirit helps us and leads us to learn and come to a better and more accurate viewpoint.
  • S Spencer - In Reply - 11 months ago
    Thanks Gigi!

God bless you! It's easier to go into a study and gather from it when we can set aside all preconceived and traditional teachings.

We have that mentioned a lot on this site and elsewhere but to be called a "study" it has to be done on both sides.

To set aside one's preconceived teachings or doctrines often means to some, "you set aside yours and I will keep mine because I believe I'm right.

They call that a study but it really isn't.

A discussion and a study isn't the same thing though you can learn from both.

In most discussions people tend to hold on to their beliefs.

When studying you have to go to the scriptures and begin taking the scriptures literally unless there's symbols to suggest otherwise.

When the Bible deals with timetables it gives you description of the era and direct signs when the prophecy nears it's climax.

There's more to take into consideration.

As for the vacation the Pastor was a blessing, I was beginning to grow weary of all these vacations. I love being home.

I'm trying to get my body clock to adjust back to the eastern time zone.

I've been on your home state time zone, "Washington" for nearly two weeks.

    God bless you Gigi.

Rev.5.13 "Throne of God and of the Lamb"

"And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."

The Lamb that broke upon the seven seal was presented as the fulness of God. So seven seals seven horns and seven eyes supply us clear indication. POV of both God the Father and the Son gives the snapshot of the Everlasting Covenant as executed. Every creature is giving glory to 'him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever." Rev.22.1 refers to this hyphenated throne :And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb." The river beginning from Eden runs this throne to the end times. This is the river of time.

"And a river went out of Eden to water the garden;" (Gen.2.10) It waters the the world framed by the word so Jesus tells the Samaritan woman, "Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again/But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."( Jn 4.13-14) For a believer blessed of God both worlds of the Spirit of the body shall be as one

We have three other narratives in the book referring to the same where the will of the Father is present and judgment falls upon the ungodly word. Seven seals seven trumpets and seven vials are variations to the empowerment:"Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood."(v.9) Throne of the Lamb establishes truth as the emblem of Melchizedek his Alpha and Omega aspect.

"Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life."(Heb.7.3) Notice the phrase,'but made like unto the Son of God,'is consistent.

    Rev.5.9 "New Song"

" And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;"

The fulness of God in Jesus Christ is established by the emblem so past, present future is in the now of the divine Will of the Father. The 24 elders, the four beast are memorial of the body that God has prepared for Jesus Christ. Thus when the Lamb takes authority of the book this new song proclaims salvation: If any man is in Christ he is a new creation.. So the Lamb prevailed'to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof implies that the everlasting Covenant has come in force. The Lamb standing here is differentiated from the Lamb standing upon the mount Sion by investing him with full regalia here. The Word or the Law of the Spirit is the power and authority and it is what seven horns and seven eyes signify.

"the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints." This body corresponds with the body of a saint though formed from the dust of the ground. This body before the throne have life everlasting so when they declare,"And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth," their certainty is that they exist in the presence of God. On the otherhand does a believer called to be a saint abide by faith and produce fruits worthy of their calling? We are blessed because we are a new creation so we have a new heart. It signifies we are set apart before the foundation of the world. Our prayers are thus presented as golden vials 'full of odours.'These are not medium or intercessors for us but ourselve in the world of the Spirit.. This is man part and the angel part is indicated by the new song."The voice of many angels round about the throne ' also joins in. (v.11)

"And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?/And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon." Here we are looking the same angel but he is qualified as a strong angel. (Isa.9.6) refers to the only begotten Son as the mighty God. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." The Word was with God is seated on the right hand of the Word was God. The Lamb as the emblem of the Father Son relationship is worthy' to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof.' The strong angel is Jesus Christ who shall perform the office of the Apostle in due time.(Heb.3.1)

The Spirit tags Gabriel with a tag. "And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever..(Dan.12.7) He swears by holding his right hand and his left hand unto heaven. The Spirit shows us the mighty angel in Ch.10 with this gesture. "And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,"(Rev.10.6) Here the mighty angel lifts his hand to heaven. What does it signify? This mighty angel is Jesus Christ who lifts hand to indicate his Father in his throne.

Then who is the angel whom Daniel saw? He is angel as well as a man," even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning," (Dan.9.21)The Spirit delineates the single measurement which holds the fulness of God in Jesus Christ. In Jesus christ Gabriel or any other angel i doubles for a saint on the earth. Without this single measure of 144 what doctrine are the imposter churches teaching their congregation? (Rev.21.16-17)?

    Rev.5.1-6 "The book"

"Stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth./And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne."

The Lamb here as well as on mount Sion is shown standing,('and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand'-14.1) What is the difference of this book with that the books were opened in the vision of Daniel?

These books were concerning the four beasts or the ungodly nations and the Ancient of days on the fiery throne was dispensing the law of sin and death. Hence the fiery aspect of the vision. "I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame."(7.11) Subsequent beast in Rev.13 has this mark of judgment."And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed." He still has ten horns which marks him as already judged under the law of sin and death. 'and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.'(Rev.13.1-2)

The Word or the Ancient of days take back dominion from these four beasts."yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time." (Dan.7.12). Season and time. Not the significance of the parenthesis between season and time. This'and refers to the Advent of Christ marked in the vision of John,'there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.'time marks the end times. (Rev.8.1)

The Word was with God in 5.1 is shown giving 'a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.' The Lamb in the midst is the emblem and it is the fulness of God shown in series of seven. (Col.1.19) The emblem denotes "I am Alpha and and judgment Omega, the beginning and the ending," of the Lord. It is sealed so we have the judgment indicated in the vision of Daniel is reset. Here judgment covers from the beginning till the ending.

    (Revelation Part 49b):

    Revelation 13:15 Continued

I'm sharing all this ahead of time so you can see how all this fits together. In order to participate in the economic, political, and religious system of the world, to buy food, and to participate, you have to worship the image. If you worship the image, then you get the mark of the beast. And that mark gives you the authority to function in the economic and political system.

So, there's not going to be someone sitting standing on a street corner saying "Hey, you want your mark? Come on over, I'll give you your mark." You can't get that mark unless you join his religious system and worship the image.

If you refuse to do that, you'll be killed. If you accept that presentation, and you take the mark of the beast, you can no longer be saved! So, he had power to give breath unto the image of the beast, and it comes alive, even though it's not living.

Some people think that it's some kind of a computer that possibly talks and moves. It has life to it, but it is not living. That the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast, that they should be killed.

    (Revelation Part 49a):

Revelation 13:15 - And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast. Now the word "life" isn't the word life. It's the word PNEUMA which means breath. It is also used for spirit and wind. Satan can't give life. He gave breath to the image of the beast.

Remember, the false prophet is saying "You need to make an image of him. That's what we need to do." So, they made an image. In fact, in Daniel 9:27, it tells us that right in the middle of the Tribulation Period, because remember that the Tribulation Period is seven years, but the last half of the Tribulation Period is called the "Great Tribulation." That's where the judgments of God are really poured out upon the earth.

Well, for the first half of the Tribulation Period, the antichrist and his prophet are unifying the economic, political, and religious systems of the world. In fact, he will covenant with the nation Israel to rebuild their temple. And they will start sacrificing again in their temple. And one day, the antichrist comes in with the false prophet, and he puts his image in the Holy of holies, and demands that everyone worship the image of the beast.

    (Revelation Part 48):

Revelation 13:10 - He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Now He's saying he that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: and he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. He's actually telling His people that if you fight back, however you fight back is how you're going to be killed.

Here is the patience, literally the endurance, the remaining under our circumstances (HUPOMONE), and the faith of the saints. So, He's telling them to endure, and to trust. Don't fight because whatever way you try to fight, you'll be put to death.

Revelation 13:11 - And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

Lambs don't have horns. He had the appearance of a lamb, but basically, he's a goat. And his speech comes from the dragon.

Revelation 13:12 - And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

You see, now you have another. This is what is called the false prophet in Chapter 16. He is a religious leader, while the antichrist is a political leader. The false prophet comes and he performs miracles, and he points people to the antichrist, just like the Holy Spirit brings people to Jesus.

Do you see the setup here?

Satan is just shadowing the things of God, only from an evil standpoint.

Revelation 13:13 - And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

And he does great wonders. 2 Thessalonians 2:9 tells us about this. He does great wonders, so that he makes fire to come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, just like the two witnesses did!
