Who is the 'I' in vs. 12? When in the chapter did Paul begin to speak for God? I do not wish to preach but I am called to teach. Barbara; there isn't any Scriptural support for the idea of a Rapture before the Lord's coming. And as far as all these things happening that no one regards or takes warning; this is where we must be patient and persevere. All these things are being sent by God; but the world won't acknowledge that, and call it natural or man made. The reason for the tribulation is that men would repent.

But many; whether through ignorance or misteaching, or through hatred, hostility, opposition and contradiction; put forth everything conceivable INSTEAD OF CHRIST and His Glad Tidings. This is a serious thing. Joshua specifically told the children of Israel in CH. 6:19 but all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are CONSECRATED unto the Lord. Achan would have been present yet he was wilfully disobedient when he hid what was supposed to be the Lord's. This is a warning to those who keep their tithes which is the Lord's.

I tender my comment that the harlot of Revelation 17 is the Roman Catholic "church" and of course any organization or people that join her. They have already martyred 50 million true believers. That's enough for them to be drunk on it and the Vatican and co have not apologised for it nor cancelled their anathemas against any christians outside their fold.

The book of Revelation, are these things to happen after the rapture? I don't understand how sinners can be told what Satan has for them for eternity-Hell-and still they follow Satan.
