You see that Jesus was every bit as human as you or me, even subject to emotions of doubt and distress. What a teacher! He demonstrates not as rhe hypocrites who say and who does not practice. What is love but the word of the Father which Jesus received and gave to whosoever he would. Their is no respect of persons with Jesus, the Christ. Elihu, waited until his elders has spoken because he gave his opinion. God gives wisdom to the young and the old.

We may see here in Solomon a type of Christ, when He shall come into His kingdom. The men who have conspired to exalt themselves instead of the Word of God, shall be brought to naught; and the earth will rejoice because of the KING!

...We put aside our Lord and Saviour to worship music and movie idols. Sports become so important that the Lord's Holy day is filled with the worship of sports rather than gathering for HIS worship. Oh! its SO easy for us, me and you, to put our Lord aside and find other lords! 'Thou shalt not have any other Gods before me'.

A disciple: "How could their hearts have grown cold towards Jesus?" We can stop to study ourselves. The love of this world does this doesn't it. But what does that mean? How can we study ourselves in this matter? We must be awakened to this sin. We often seek thanks and awe from the world, we seek monetary and material riches, pride, garment ourselves in latest fashions and jewels.....

Psalm 91 has been my refuge. God used this psalm to bring me out of many troubles. We meditated and stood on the words of this psalm. God raised my daughter from death a few minutes after she was confirmed dead through suicide. It has has healed my wife of hodgekins disease (cancer) when she was given up to die.

Verse 23 should always be read together with vs. 24. By itself, in the context of the previous verses, it sounds like David is bragging about his own spirituality. The sower and his seed is the greatest of the parables as Jesus said know ye not this parable how then shall ye know all parables, its his seed that is gonna be sown in us resulting in a birth of Christ in us which is the Child/Babe that is gonna lead us into all truth. The psalmist invited Jehovah God to inspect him and search him out. We should do the same with a view to improve various aspects of our Christian personality and our service to God.

We much bear fruit to be children of God

While going through his suffering, Job is searching his heart to see if there is anything he did that was not pleasing to God. I am reminded of Ps. 139:23

"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled.." We are grateful for the small times of quiet and happiness; yet even in these we know there is certainly evil and trouble coming on the horizon. We have to walk with our hearts and minds with Christ in heaven Who is our expectation!

A verse remembered from childhood- Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Hi Jeffrey; It helps to think of our heavenly Father like a grown up who is kind and forgiving of a child for thinking like a child till it learns and grows up. We have to grow up physically, spiritually, mentally, morally, and emotionally, etc.! We have a lot to be sanctified! Its gonna take a lot of thought and commitment and perseverance, to finish our course as victorious and overcomers!

The Father God ,.the WORD he spoken, and his SPIRIT..and these three are ONE revealed in JESUS who is the Lord who came as a mighty man.. Isa 42:13

What does God consider marriage?

Verse 12: This prophecy foretold that the "waters" of Babylon the Great would dry up. Many people would no longer support Babylon the Great or false religion.

Verse 26: Jesus made God's name known. In imitation of Jesus, we should make God's name, Jehovah, known worldwide.

Verses 23 and 24: It is God's view of religion that truly matters. Those worshipping God must do so with spirit and truth.

Verse 7: Jehovah God is making sure that all those who are honest-hearted and desirable are being drawn to him.
