It is a powerful chapter that demonstrate God's dominion in everything He created including the earth. He is God and there is no other. He is God and there is none like HIM and He has also given me dominion over all at the day of my creation in Genesis 1 in Jesus Mighty Name!!!

Blessed be the Lord so high.
  • Regina Pinnock on Psalms 124 - 8 years ago
If it had not been for lord who was on my side I would not been standing on the lord Jesus side today I was living a very ungodly life not committed to Jesus living one in church and another way out of church fornicating, But Jesus for gave and restore me, others would have condemn me, but thanks be to God my life is his now and I am forever grateful, to God be the glory I live for him now.

Perhaps the wise virgins knew their spiritual condition needed work that could only be performed under the anaesthetic of darkness?
  • Joyce Joseph on Joshua 5 - 8 years ago
As Captain of the Lord's host am I come. The presence of God was always with the children of Israel throughout their whole journey but at this point the Almighty God had to show Joshua that the Captain who was Jesus Christ himself was with with them.

Emanuel; To ME, it is sin to be a Sports Fan. If someone else can sit with a good conscience toward God, while being barraged by the worldliness and flesh and utterly spirit-draining idle chatter... I have to say I doubt it! I used to enjoy sports as a kid, and am content to leave it with my childhood in the past. I have determined to sanctify myself to the Lord Jesus Christ and the Narrow Way.
  • Bookreadingismything on Romans 8 - 8 years ago
Amen, thank you Jesus! I have repented, with much remorse, for the many things I said and did when I was younger and foolish. I wish I could go back and fix it all, especially for one individual. Way back when we were in elementary school, I did apologize for what I did. as I was deeply sorry. She accepted it, but our friendship was over as her family did not want us to be friends anymore. I don't blame them, as it was all my fault. I was afraid of the ones who bullied her and instead of fighting them off, I joined in because I was so afraid of them they too, bullied me , but that is NO excuse. I wish I could go back and fight them, even if it meant getting myself beat up for it. I would have gladly taken a punch in the nose for her. For over fifty years I have been ashamed and full of guilt, and begged God's forgiveness. I just hope my former friend has a wonderful, blessed life, full of love and God's goodness, and is truly happy.

    CHRIST ALONE take us home
  • A disciple on Isaiah 57 - 8 years ago
Peter; I'm so sorry about your daughter. There are no words to express the pain and sorrow; and little we can do to comfort other but weep and pray. This is an evil world and our time is short; and the ones whom we love are most precious and so very much needed. Our comfort and strength is Jesus, who stands with us; and the Word He has promised to wipe away all our tears. You shall see her again!

  • Randy on 2 John 1 - 8 years ago
A Disciple: I thank the Good Lord and pray for the saints every night, of which you are one! The OT had a sacrifice for ignorance and the NT says there is a sin that is not unto death, which I think and hope is ignorance. (family and loved ones) The error of the doctrine of Truth and the knowledge of Righteousness can be taught to those who will receive His revelation, as we did. Holy to the Lord!
  • Charles Bonsu on 2 Corinthians 8 - 8 years ago
    Amen.
  • A disciple on Matthew 10 - 8 years ago
Emanuel; what is there to defend? I just think very strongly that we should not not let ourselves be drawn into the same idle interests as those of the world who don't know any better. "Little children, keep yourselves from idols." The Lord has called us and sanctified us to be His witnesses, to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, that the Holy Spirit in us should convict men.

  • Flames of Fire on Hebrews 1 - 8 years ago
He made his angles spirits and his ministers flames of fire. Are your ministets truth tellers or fund raisers? Do you long for righteosness or pretend your already saved. Misinterpreters of scripure or learners precept by precept, a little here a little there. Do you feign rapture or deal with the Heart of the matter, without pretence. My experience with todays Christians. Dig it?
  • A disciple on 2 John 1 - 8 years ago
Randy; I think that was a good example you used with Ann to show God's care for us; and also, thank you for the supporting effort with all the times the word forgiveness appears in the Old Testament! There is a wealth of knowledge and history about our Faith and Religion, that has been mercilessly and relentlessly under attack and much destroyed; which is why there is so much error and ignorance.
  • A disciple on Matthew 10 - 8 years ago
I wrote another post, about the topic of whether God cares about the Super Bowl, but it wasn't put up. I know, and we all know, that there are MULTITUDES of Christians who have no problem with watching sports and enjoying recreation and leisure activities. But when is it too much, and ungodly, and something unbecoming of a Saint? As Christians we are NOT OF THE WORLD, and must be separate from it!
  • A disciple on 2 John 1 - 8 years ago
Emanuel; To your question about God putting people to the test; in James it is talking about alluring to sin; which cannot be done to God, and He doesn't do to anyone! But as to the action itself of enticing it is something that God does use in many ways for His righteous purposes and bringing out the best (or worst) in people. For example - Genesis 22:1; John 6:6; 2 Thess. 2:11; 1 Kings 22:22.
  • A disciple on Ezekiel 18 - 8 years ago
In this Chapter it is obvious that man is responsible for his own ways before God. Also that God gives us years of life and opportunities and the power to choose the good and avoid the evil, shows His understanding and mercy upon our childish minds and selfishness, allowing space to consider and repent. We are made to be good and righteous, and the commandment is to prepare us for giving account.
  • A disciple on Psalms 63 - 8 years ago
"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsts for thee, my flesh longs for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary." Being a man anointed and mightily filled with the Holy Spirit; while David camped in the desert, he could use the experience as a spiritual instruction for his hidden life in God.
  • A disciple on Psalms 62 - 8 years ago
"Truly my soul waits upon God: from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved." Waiting upon God implies being prepared and ready in a condition worthy of Him who is about to come. People prepare themselves for important meetings and interviews and do all they know how to be ready to present themselves best. How much more should we!
  • Rev Peter Ratcliff on Isaiah 57 - 8 years ago
Yes, my daughter was taken when just over 3 and a half. We are sure the Lord has done all things well. Our God has prepared great things for us in glory and we won't be disappointed. It puts things in perspective to have had such a loss. Wonderful Saviour!
  • Emanuel Fernandes on Matthew 10 - 8 years ago
who cares if a sparrow dies and hits the ground who cares about the numbers of hair that I have on my head. GOD CARES THATS WHO!. ALL THINGS ARE CREATED BY HIM AND FOR HIM. The homeless person on the street and the preacher in the pulpit BOTH ARE BEING USED OF GOD WHETHER THEY KNOW IT OR NOT THERE BOTH FULLING GODS COUNSEL! We need to study to show thyself approved unto God
  • Emanuel Fernandes on Matthew 10 - 8 years ago
Its not sin to watch sports most carnal Christians would think it is. Im under liberty not grace the lost are under grace. As long as Im not under the power of worshipping it.Besides you missed the point READ not skim my comment. If you think God is not involved or care who wins IN ANY SPORT you dont know God he worketh ALL THINGS into his counsel NOTHING IS INSIGNIFICANT to God
  • Emanuel Fernandes on Matthew 15 - 8 years ago
let the righteous smite me it SHALL BE A KINDNESS let him reprove me its shall be an excellent oil. You want the brethren to rebuke or do you want chastening from the lord which can lead to sin unto death personally I want to be rebuked if its with scripture not with your philosophy
  • Manuelf324 on Matthew 15 - 8 years ago
What we forget as a bible believer is when we rebuke(not scorn which is different) its because we love that person not hate. Heres a verse most kjv bible believers avoid. Thous shalt not HATE THY BROTHER Thou shalt in any wise REBUKE thy neighbor suffer not sin upon him. If you love the brethren you rebuke them you obey God you rebuke them you dont they will get chastened along with you!
  • Librarygal143 on Psalms 8 - 8 years ago
All Glory to God our Father!
  • Bettie c. Jefferdon on Psalms 20 - 8 years ago
I love psalm 20. God is my refuge and my strength. He is a very present help in a time of trouble. No matter what you are dealing with. Just to know that God sees all, knows all and is involved in all that you do is such an awesome feeling. Learning to lean on God is all we need.
