  • A disciple on Ezekiel 27 - 8 years ago
Ever since men first thought to make themselves a name and build a city with a tower to defy the heavens, the deceits of their heart for a global alliance of Nations has not departed from them, and has been the thrust of all their wars. "The bricks are fallen, but we will rebuild with hewn stone." At one point God removes His restraint, and then will their own confusion be their ruin and end.

Demonstrated in real time the love of God. Jesus was mostly reclusive, preferring the love of God to the blasphemy of man. When they tried to make him king, he fled. He knew what was in man. Religion has it's place but mostly creates division. Look at the wars around the world and the political partisanship in this cou try which in angry enough to end in war. God is supreme, and knowing
  • Son of David on 1 John 3 - 8 years ago
I love Jesus, the Christ more than most. I have absorbed the whole bible as to put things in context and I am sure that noone can proclaim salvation before the judgement. That is my complaint around every collective idea, especially the "born again". Are they more likely to understand the truth because of one verse 3:16? Please understand that Jesus, the Christ did not absolve sins but per se

verse 20-Two points: The son was always a son before, during and after his departure. He didn't waste his being a son. He wasted his connection, benefit, relationship, enjoyment of being a son. He didn't return asking to be a son again. He was hungry. His hunger is what brought him home.
The main character in the story is the father. He ran to his son and welcomed him home before his son spoke
  • Moses on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
Genesis is the book of beginning and so it is, so it has been and so shall it be, the seventh day is a day of rest and worship, we should endeavour to keep it holy, in appreciation of the goodness of God, in creating us with all the blessings he has been bestoring on us each day as we wait for the coming back of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Charles Bonsu on Galatians 2 - 8 years ago
    Amen.

A Disciple: Could be that everyone's name is in the Book of Life, but the secret is to not be blotted out. The way the world is going, I do believe that only a Remnant will be saved. There must still be 10 righteous, but hard to tell watching the news! Read some of your past entries and sure is good to know you are teacher of Righteousness! Holy to the LORD! Thanks for Lord's words on my family!
  • Randy on 1 John 3 - 8 years ago
Hey there Greg! The law of the spirit of life and truth has made us free from the law of sin and death. By the law we are made free from the law. Dead to sin...free to marry another...His righteousness! The flesh profits nothing because Jesus condemned sin in the flesh for us. Took it out of the way, as far as the east is from the west. Now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! HOLY
  • Peter A. Okebukola on Galatians 6 - 8 years ago
Eternal truths- And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
  • Lilian on 1 John 5 - 8 years ago
For there are three record on this earth the God the word and the Holy Ghosts these three are agree in one. Jesus and Abba Father speaks one word and one wisdom Jesus is God who came in flesh so that you and me will have life in abundance praise you Jesus amen
  • A disciple on Job 2 - 8 years ago
It's really sad how easily it is for the enemy to get us distracted from the Spirit's speaking to us through the Scriptures, by causing accusations and tempers to fly! Here is such a tremendously important Word of God; and the devil just has to rattle one or two up; and the blessing is gone! Please, Oh PLEASE, Brethren; try to care a little less about your precious feelings, and allow forgiveness!
  • Sandy on 1 Kings 11 - 8 years ago
A disciple... Yes, Jesus is the savior, but you have to be saved and baptized. Jesus doesn't just save people because of he's the savior. You have to want it and earn it. Its a Gift from God. God has to know in your heart that you want it and earned it. God knows our hearts better than we know our own hearts.
  • Tina kemp on Nahum 1 - 8 years ago
I think it is very good book my preacher preached from this book telling us was his first time to preach it i found it shows Gods power and reveals what he will do for those who don't stay in his laws and word he gives chances but the people of nineveh just fell back to wicked ways. • God has my heart on 2 Samuel 2 - 8 years ago
David did according to god will when God spoke to David. As we all should in stead we all do our own will that y this world is so mess up to day if we would learn by David and the word of God.And walk the right path.We mite not be were we are to day.May be we need God to return and rebuke us to bring us repentance
  • Harold on Exodus 14 - 8 years ago
My memory, somewhat challenged, I freely admit, tells me I either read or heard that chariots and parts thereof have been found in the Red Sea. Any comment on that anybody?
  • Ben on Matthew 4 - 8 years ago
    (4:8-9)
Satan here says he can give Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. He does not appear to be lying—Jesus does not say that he isn't able to give these. This then implies that Satan owns all the kingdoms of the world (see also Psalm 2). Government was first founded by Nimrod as a rebellion against God (according to Josephus) and continues to be against God. This has libertarian implications.

In Verse 12, Paul was addressing the women in this fashion because they were most likely disrupting the services because of questions. He said later on that they were to ask their husbands at home. Also you cannot usurp authority as a woman IF you are asked to teach, preach, evangelize, or even Pastor a church. Usurp means to commandeer or do something w/o the right to do so. I pray this helps you
  • Alex on John 3 - 8 years ago
Disciple the mystery of the kingdom of God is Christ in you thus our new inner man is the H.G He says i will baptise you with the H.G and fire. When he breathed on them they received tHE H./G. simply b/c his breath was his word.his seed. the H.G. is the multiplication of christ in us via his seed. THATS Y HE REFERS TO HE H.G AS THE PROMISE.THAT PROMISE BEING THE VERY MULTIPILCATION OF CHRIST IN US

"Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous." (cont.) Every saved Christian knows that in Jesus Christ alone is ALL our righteousness and fitness for the presence of God, and that we are in ourselves good for nothing: but that is the point here! We are not left alone by ourselves; but God the Father in His great love WANTS US!
  • A disciple on 1 John 3 - 8 years ago
"Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous." The passage in Psalm 14 which many use as a blanket to throw over everyone indiscriminately is about the unsaved and rebellious, the disobedient and the fool, the ungodly who take their portion in this life, who deny the LORD and will not hearken to His Word; NOT the obedient Elect!
  • A disciple on 1 John 3 - 8 years ago
Son of David; your post was hard to understand: please explain what you mean by, "Who can claim a covenant old or new" and "Faulty thinkers search for salvation before the judgement!" It sounds like you either don't know the Scriptures or are not a Saved Christian Believer! May we help you with some of your questions?
  • Alex - 8 years ago
ACTUALLY GAL 4 V 19 SUMES IT UP when he says my lil children of whom i travail in birth till Christ be formed in YOU which are the SEEDS of christ that are gonna form Christ in us, A birth implies a Child is gonna be born in us VIA HIS SEED which are his WORDS.Who is my MOTHER ? Them that hear the Word and keeps it which implies a birth of christ in us. thus the KINGDOM will truly be within US
  • Alex on Galatians 4 - 8 years ago
We are not the true heirs its Christ that is the only true heir but we can be a JOINT HEIR if we birth christ in our hearts, thats y he is saying you must be bornagain,88 TIMES HE REFERS TO HIMSELF AS THE SON OF MAN IMPLING MANKIND NEEDS TO BIRTH CHRIST IN HIS LIFE/HEARTS, Jesus said all that th father has is mine, and all mine is thine and all thine is mine etc, THUS HE WAS THE ONLY TRUE HEIR
  • Alex on Galatians 4 - 8 years ago
Disciple OUR NEW Innerman is the result of his Seed, the WORD sown in our hearts that initiates a birth of Christ in us, which is mankinds fruit THE SON OF MAN WHICH IS spirit,(the H.G.) • Charles Bonsu on Galatians 1 - 8 years ago
    Amen.
  • Spenner on Galatians 2 - 8 years ago
It is such a wonderful experience to be Crucified with Christ. In 2004 on the day Pentecost was celebrated I was rebaptized in the name of Jesus ( Romans 6:3-8; Acts 2:38).This was the result of revelation.Sadly many are only baptised in Jesus' titles( Matt 28:19)and not his Name. The Lord Jesus is the head of the church why is his name not used in Baptism?
  • A disciple on Jonah 2 - 8 years ago
Jonah repented from inside the fish, and was then vomited out. Whatever he was before he was thrown into the sea; he wasn't anymore! Jonah's calling and anointing came again, and his word was with power! I love the story of Jonah! What a great and bold Prophet! He went to the Capital heathen city and the most terrible people in the world; and the Word of God pronouncing their doom broke them!

Dolores (cont. 2); Now we all know how the Lord warned us that if we didn't abide in Him we would be cast forth as a branch and wither; and if we did not do what He says our house would fall and we would be denied entrance into the kingdom of God. And for one who was so much filled with the Spirit and used to write Scripture how terrible for Solomon to end up that way! Let us also beware and pray!
  • A disciple - 8 years ago
Dolores (cont.); I noticed early on, when first getting to know the Bible Stories that many of the champions of faith wandered away or failed in their latter years; and it really made me wonder how they could still have been accepted by God and even centuries after referred to as examples of faith. Then I began to see a pattern in the Prophets of a time of forgiveness and healing after the wrath.
  • A disciple on 1 Kings 11 - 8 years ago
Dolores; I once heard a very respected man of God once say, "Who would you be more likely to see in heaven; Solomon or Nebuchadnezzar?" The king of Babylon's conversion is a marvel of God's power, no doubt! But Solomon was for most of his life greatly loved by the LORD and a type of Christ in His kingdom and glory; but was fallen away! Isn't Jesus the forgiver of sins and the Saviour of the world?
