Dear Geraldine; Jesus said that He came NOT to abolish the Law, but to completely make it full! Up to as far as if the heavens and the earth should pass away, NOT ONE Yode or one Tittle shall pass away from the Law till ALL be fulfilled. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus; so that our life should establish the Law, to teach and convict others by the Spirit and Light of His Nature in us!

25-26 The Lord Jesus Christ will make Himself known to the House of Israel by coming in power and great glory to execute judgment and vengeance upon all her evil neighbors which despise her. The whole Testimony of the Scriptures is Christ the King of Israel and of all the earth: when Jesus makes Himself known to His brethren, then will the Nations also be delivered from the covering of darkness.
  • Anne on Job 22 - 8 years ago
Job is being accused of some hidden sin and is being admonished to repent. Only
God knows the heart of man. Let us therefore hold on to our faith in Him when the accuser comes to cause us to doubt. ( 1 Peter 5:8-10).

You are right, I tell my wife, who has difficulties, that we are saved, we are His,He died and rise to ascend after a time, to His Father's right hand. We are to live as His witness to others of his great love for us, and know He wants to be near to us daily, intimately as our God.

Paul is explaining how the law was brought about in the lives of israelites.it was there to retain and keep the close to God as they were corrupt generation . but before them there was no law and people of that time knew wat was wrong and right as they were descendants of adam and eve who ate the fuit of knowledge. therefore even we do know whats right and wrong ,lets do the right not bcoz by law
  • Spenner on Galatians 3 - 8 years ago
My prayer for the church is that we would all become "one" in Christ Jesus. If we all "Put on Christ" by being "Baptised into Christ" (Acts2:38)there would not be all these different denominations, and different doctrines.Let us "build upon the Apostles and the Prophets with Jesus Christ as the Chief Corner Stone" (Eph2:20)
  • Jennifer Harvey on Revelation 13 - 8 years ago
Just know that Jesus Christ is soon to return for the saints! Let's be ready!

Emanuel: The Schoolmaster mentioned in Gal. 3:24 refers to the Ceremonial Law; not the Ten Commandments. Why would Ap. Paul list 17 moral sins in Gal. 5:19-21, which would bar the entrance into God's Kingdom? After all, which of the Ten Commandments is OK to break? I know; you just like better the Day of the Sun instituted by man, than the Saturday Sabbath, instituted by God. See also Rom. 7:7

Anthony: The Bible says all HAVE sinned(past tense) and fallen from the Glory of God's Grace. So one cannot say they 'have no sin' without deceiving themselves. The Bible also says that we are to put to death the sin full nature by believing the TRUTH and studying the Scriptures diligently. Did not Jesus say He took away our sin? Isn't that the TRUTH? Repent means a reversal of opinion. Lord Bless

He blotted out the handwriting of ordinances, that was contrary to us and nailed them to His cross.

Let no man judge you in meat
or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, the new moon, or the sabbath days, which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ.

And when Christ, the only begotten Son of God, shall have down hell death and the grave, He shall, in front of all beings in Heaven, turn to His Father, and submit Himself, and His authority, to the Heavenly Father.
  • Randy on 2 John 1 - 8 years ago
The last verse of Mt.25:46 says "but the righteous into life eternal". Sin is all unrighteousness and a little leaven leavens the whole lump, even if we keep the whole law but offend in one, we are guilty of all. So the only way to be righteous is to STOP sinning. Doesn't the Bible say to come to our senses as we ought and cease from sin? A disciple I know you know the Truth, and I thank the Lord!

Comment*When we walk in the spirit as he is spirit his nature is made manifest in us because we were regenerated from being in the hm by his precious child and the old nature was taken away that is we have to crucify five things daily on the cross,
    the world,
    the devil,
    sins and transpases,
    flesh and
    law
God will nt do for us we to do it ourselves in jesus name

  • A disciple on Daniel 7 - 8 years ago
"As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time." Daniel 7:12 This is one of several Scriptures which alludes to the Lord NOT coming to destroy men's lives, but to SAVE them; and of a time to come when the world will be able to enjoy life under the glorious reign of the Lord Jesus Christ with all His Saints.
  • Randy on 1 John 3 - 8 years ago
Son of David: God hath from the beginning chosen you to SALVATION through sanctification of the Spirit and BELIEF OF THE TRUTH: 2Thess2:13 To give knowledge of SALVATION unto his people by the REMISSION OF THEIR SINS. Luke1:77 Jesus has saved us by TAKING AWAY ALL OF OUR SIN. Where their is REMISSION, their is no more offering for sin! When you study scripture, look FOR it! TRUST IN HIS SALVATION!
  • A disciple on Acts 10 - 8 years ago
Hello Chuck; so what do you think that means, "In the Name of the Lord JESUS?" And without straining to falsely spiritualize, do you think it overrides what the Lord Himself said; "...In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost?"
  • Chuck on Acts 10 - 8 years ago
Notice Peter commanded Cornelius to be baptized in the name of Jesus , just as he commanded the Jews to be baptized in the name of Jesus. Also the name of the Lord is Jesus. So the Jews and gentiles were commanded to be baptized in the name of Jesus. It is very plain to me.

Sandy (cont.); How about the innumerable people who really were good but didn't know Jesus or the Bible? How about those who were cruelly slain from their mother's womb? How about all the countless people like Lazarus who only had evil in this life? In Luke 9:54-56 Jesus shows us a lot about His generosity of forgiveness even on those who for now don't receive Him. Let's leave the judgment to God.
  • A disciple on 1 Kings 11 - 8 years ago
Sandy; I'm glad you replied! You are so right; however, read in the Prophets and you'll see that God has a plan to restore all the ancient peoples and Nations to their former estate, minus the wicked and the devil. Also, think about how Jesus said we would reign with Him on His throne: over who are we going to reign? The Nations of the saved! Not every single soul on earth ever is going to hell!
  • A disciple on 2 John 1 - 8 years ago
Hi Randy; Thanks for the nice note! To the question of everyone possibly being in the Book of Life to begin with I don't know. It does say that there's an evil seed who go astray from the womb speaking lies; and some like Esau, the LORD hates. The fact that He sows in all kinds of hearts but only a smaller part respond worthily, also makes me doubt that possibility. Mt. 25:31-46 is important.
  • Chuck on Acts 2 - 8 years ago
Remember the question that was asked of Peter. What must we do? Peter told the people what they must do:acts2:38 and who else should dothis:acts2:39
