So you are neither free to keep sinner because Jesus was the sin nearer. And you keep sinning throughout your lifetime. And you are neither free from dying because we all keep dying. And we are neither free from keeping the law because Jesus himself keep the Law ,that he came not to abolish but to fulfill from Genesis chapt.2:1, Exodus 20:where God himself wrote the 10 commandment Laws with his own finger, And Revelation 22:14, where keeping Gods Law is your ticket into Heaven. So we HAVE to keep the law of God and not the Mosaic law the kiiing of sheep etc. to appease for our sins,because the good shepherd died she'd blood himself instead of sheep dying anymore.Therfore all we have to do is pray kneeling ,bowing,laying prostrate on the ground ,or just calling on the name of the Ultimate Sheep-that. was sacrificed

Emanuel: In 1 Tim. Paul says 'Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief'. That does not mean that Paul was still a sinner, or the 'worst' sinner. The very next verse Paul says why he said he was 'chief' of sinners. Because he was the FIRST PATTERN of all that should believe after him. It's obvious. Not possible anyway to be 'more sin full'. Leaven leavens the whole lump!

"And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?" It is no secret to anyone who reads the Bible that there are certain kinds of men who will be offended at the directness of the Lord's speech; especially when it exposes sin and hypocrisy. For the men who were chosen to be the Lord's anointed Sent Ones, the rebuke is accepted as a shaming, in order to push them to grow up and be better men.

"Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaks a barbarian, and he that speaks shall be a barbarian unto me." I feel it teaches us that God will not abide with His children in sin. Yet He is a loving Father and He is holy. He wants nothing more than to heal our backsliding but we must first humble ourselves and pray. No fancy prayer required...just an honest heart and contrite spirit. He uses the weak things to confound the wise.

Vs.19 says that they could not understand the word sewn by Jesus. The next 2 received it but fell aside. Only the 4th brought forth fruit. Romans 3 says there is nobody who is righteous or seeks after God. Jesus said none can come to him unless they are called by the Father. Satan has blinded the minds of all of the children of Adam. Romans 8:29-30 gives the solution to get people saved. Before the creation He predestinated people at random to be able to hear and understand the gospel when HE calls and we decide to reply to Him

In James God doesn't tempt man then why did he tempt Abraham?
Tempt in kjv means to entice but it also means to put into a trial. Clarification is need

Yes forgiven but they didn't immediately go to heaven. But since they were the chosen elect of God they went to Abraham's Bosom. When Christ shed his blood on the cross now it's absent from the body and present with the lord that's my point.Forgiven yes but they still can't go to heaven until The FATHER has been propititated .That's why Christ is called Jacobs Ladder only way to heaven

Dear Frank; What the Apostle is explaining to us is about the eternal existence of the Lord Jesus; in how Melchizedek (of whom there is no record in Scripture about his lineage) was taken as a type of Christ. The term, "..men that die receive tithes," simply refers to the mortality, and therefore the weakness of the Aaronic priesthood because the priests did not live for ever.

This verse is an incredible quote: One of many that when a believer quotes the verse out loud, a rush of the Holy Spirit can be felt. It holds true in the most trying of times. "O Lord how majestic is your name in all the earth"

Something that people miss about the chief of sinners thing, is that the very next verse Paul says he is 'chief of sinners' because he is the 'first pattern' of all those that believe after him. Not because he is the worst sinner. Check it out. It's very obvious. Also, our body's are wasting away every day, but we are growing in knowledge and truth. Keep studying, and look for it, not against it!

Emanuel, may the Good Lord bless you! The word 'forgive' is used 50 times in the OT. 48 times the word is 'salach', which means forgive, pardon, spare. Twice it is the word 'kaphar', which means cover, forgive, pardon, reconcile. (Duet.-Jer.) I was taught the same doctrine you were, which isn't a doctrine, because it opposes itself! It's not 'yes' and 'no', it's 'yes' in Christ! Disciple is right!

Psalm 91 is a psalm of protection for myself and my entire family. Each time that I read and meditate upon GOD'S WORDS OF PROTECTION I feel secure because HE IS OUR ALL SEEING GOD AND UNDER HIS MIGHTY WINGS MUST WE ALWAYS STAY. HIS LOVE AND POWER BRINGS PEACE, FORGIVENESS, PROSPERITY, SALVATION, LONG LIFE AND EVERLASTING LIFE TO ALL WHO ABIDE IN HIS WILL. We are Truly Blessed to receive HIS GIFTS

A lot of attention on Tithing and Offering; but what did Jesus really ever say about it? Tithing in the old times could be done by supporting the Ministers of the LORD according to however God has prospered you; or by supporting the poor, the widow, the orphan, and the Levite within your gates. At harvest time, at Payday; how you do is your business! Only NEVER AS PAYMENT for Church membership!

SIN SHALL NOT HAVE DOMINION OVER YOU means just that! If it no longer has dominion then why would we break under the pressure of temptation? WE DON'T! We speak the Scriptures like Jesus did, and stand tough, and do not sin! If its an allurement of the flesh, CLOSE YOUR EYES, LOOK THE OTHER WAY, DO SOMETHING TO RESIST THE DEVIL! We who know the Lord are more guilty if we sin than those who don't!
