Adam 130 Seth 105 Enos 90 Cainan 70 Mahalaleel 65 Jared 162 Enoch 65 Methuselah 187 Lamech 182 Noah 500 = 1556 100 years building the Ark (the 600th year of Noah's life) = 1656 After the Creation was the Cataclysm. Adam died 46 years before the birth of Noah. Enoch Preached 687-987.

Someone asked, How do you get 1656 years? By adding up the years till each son mentioned was born; e.g. "Adam lived 130 tears and begat Seth..Seth lived 105 years and begat Enos.." (etc.) That's the number you have to keep adding not the length of their lives. Afterwards you can add in the years of their lives to see who was still alive and for how long. Shem lived for 35 years after Abraham died.

Hello Donna; Seeing that Cain and Abel were the first generation after Adam and Eve; the boys would have known full well the story of what happened, right from the Originals themselves. The LORD saw that Cain completely omitted from his accounting of himself before God the whole truth of his present condition being intrinsically connected to the coming of the Saviour. God cannot respect that kind!

John 6:44 Says No One Comes to Christ until The Father Calls (a Tug on The Heart) You call that a False Gospel. The Pharisees also spoke Evil. Your Post say you know The Bible but need Salvation. God speaks again and again, once I have spoken, and twice you will hear it. God is still speaking to His children today. To your point about Daniel's determined consecration to God; considering his circumstances, and how he was so firmly resolved in his faith and his integrity of heart toward God; we get a better idea why God so loved Daniel and counted him as the rarest kind of men among His saints.

Bruce; Last Call! If any preach ANY OTHER gospel let him be accursed! The Lord Jesus Christ said, "Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven." And then He goes on to say, that it is in the doing of "THESE MY WORDS" that prove us to be wise unto salvation, or morons who lose everything and perish!

Cross Faith (cont.); Yes! Putting on the WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD means, THE ENTIRE WORD OF GOD! Many fantasize and pretend they have a walk with Jesus because they go to a certain church and parrot their favorite preachers' lingo; thinking that they are serving God, while their responses indicate that the Holy Spirit and sound understanding of the Scriptures is completely foreign to them and a threat.

I agree that the leavened/unleavened bread do show us our physical and spiritual nature. We truly need to render our hearts to Christ such that He can do a good work in us. The Old and New Testaments are related to each other. We see Christ throughout the entire books but more so in the New Testatment.

This is the blessed Word of God!
