it is almost 4:am in the morning. I can't sleep so I decided to get into God's word. The first verse of this Psam tells me not to be scornful and to stay away from any group or persons who are scornful. Praise God for His word! It is a comfort in the middle of the night when you can"t sleep.

As we approach the solar eclipse I thought of vs 45 when darkness fell from 6th hour to 9th hour. My thoughts will be on this as the eclipse takes place. One of the best sermons I have heard lately was about the fact that the worst that happened to Jesus that day wasn t most likely not the physical toll he took but the period of time that his father had to turn his back on his son.

We have been given every provision of His grace, and the authority of His name, and a Sacred Charge to be His Representatives, His Servants, His Disciples, His Friends, in the sight of the men of this world: this means being a Worker and a Soldier who must become expert in his business!
