The Divinity of the Son of God is a fact mentioned throughout the Scriptures, from Moses to David and all the Prophets; and confirmed by the Apostles and multitudes of Believers ever since. But then comes a little man with a mouth, thinking he can simply deny it all! In John 5 here are a number of statements from the Lord Himself, declaring His Divine Authority and equality with the Father.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly on Ephesians 1 - 9 years ago
Ray: bring me the scripture the flesh that sins and the soul will never sin but the flesh will sin? It does not exist as Jesus came to make us every whit whole soul and spirit and NOT just part of your life. 3rd John 1:2] Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
  • Vic on Luke 6 - 9 years ago
We are not capable of keeping the laws of God by our own human merits, but praise God that we have an advocate that gives us access to the Father subject to our repentance of sin in Jesus Name, we are presented blameless to the Father by the Righteousness of His Son Jesus, blood bought and forgiven, a gift of love from our heavenly father.
  • Monica on Psalms 18 - 9 years ago
It shows there is hope for even the darkest soul. When one feels all alone, and the world is more than they can take, hold on! One is not fighting this battle alone--even if it is mental. God is mightier than all. He is there for each that ask, but that is what he is waiting on, like a shy, timid child in the corner, who wants to play. One must invite him in first, or he will remain in the corner.
  • Wayne on 1 John 3 - 9 years ago
Be careful who you are following! This country is getting wickeder and wickeder. Only Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, can help!!!
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly - 9 years ago
We rule over sin as Paul takes us out of Romans 7 from the past out of that wretched man of sin, in Romans 8 he brings us to the now the present.

Romans 8:1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly - 9 years ago
Romans 7:17-20 Paul is telling us that when sin has dominion over you, you cannot do the things you want to as sin will defeat your plans. Paul refers to Genesis 4:7 what God told Cain. When sin rules over you in trouble.
Genesis 4:7] If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly on 1 Corinthians 3 - 9 years ago
Ray: Romans 7 is past tense, Paul is telling us who he ((was)) under sin. Paul uses the law of divorce and remarriage to show us that death is the only way to be remarried, in this case death is the way to separate from from the devil sin and be married unto Jesus to righteousness. 33 times Paul uses the letter ((I)) to show that you are in trouble if you are walking the way he did in sin.
  • Tanua on John 3 - 9 years ago
    Acts 2:38

Believing only is not all we must do. Read John 3 about Nicodemus!
How can Christians be so blind? Many are. It going to make it because they only believe in parts.

Believing is only the first step!
  • Arthur on Genesis 35 - 9 years ago
What are the question marks before the verse for?
  • Ray321 on Philemon 1 - 9 years ago
Genesis 6 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. . Gal 5:17
  • BSP on Exodus 22 - 9 years ago
Verse 20:The Israelites were to be completely devoted to Jehovah God. They were not to worship any other gods or they would suffer death.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly - 9 years ago
John 1:1-2 man get it all wrong. The word ((was)) is past tense and the word ((and)) is a conjunction joining two separate words into one sentence. John 1 tells us the Word was God = The Word was God's word and NOT God was the Word. God and his word are two separate things as we hold the word of God and not God in any way shape or form when we read the bible. His Son became flesh and NOT God.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly on John 1 - 9 years ago
God and his word is ALWAYS two separate things. Numbers 11:23] And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not. Psalm 107:20] He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Proverbs 2:[1] My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;"
  • BSP on Exodus 19 - 9 years ago
Verse 8: The Israelites agreed to obey all that Jehovah God commanded them to do. They were well aware of the consequences that would come if they disobeyed, yet those chose to disobey and later suffered.
  • BSP on Exodus 15 - 9 years ago
The Israelites sang a victory song to Jehovah God. Singing is a way to offer praise and thanksgiving to God.
  • BSP on Exodus 9 - 9 years ago
Verse 26: Jehovah God made a clear distinction between his people and the Egyptians. The Egyptians should have seen that God was clearly bringing punishment upon them and protecting his people.
  • BSP on Exodus 8 - 9 years ago
Jehovah God continued to give Pharaoh a chance to listen and let his people go, but Pharaoh chose to harden his heart and defy him. This was a very unwise and deadly choice he made.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly on Matthew 1 - 9 years ago
Emmanuel God with us = John 3:16 God sent his Son, he is still with Israel. This is where people mess up thinking God literally with us in the flesh, when it is an interpretation, an interpretation of events. Mark 12:1-11 The vine yard owner sent his Son and not himself as God became nothing in the flesh he sent his Son in the likeness of sinful flesh. Romans 8:3.
  • Stephen on Job 41 - 9 years ago
No matter what Leviathan is or is not, verse 10 sums up what we need to know: None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me? No one can stand before God clothed in our own filthy rags. Only in the Righteousness of His Son, Jesus Christ can we escape His wrath and enjoy His Grace!
  • BSP on Exodus 7 - 9 years ago
Verse 3: Jehovah God is spoken of as making Pharaoh's heart hard here. This refers to God allowing Pharaoh's heart to become hard. He did not for Pharaoh to be hard-hearted.
  • A disciple on Psalms 22 - 9 years ago
Dan; there's no "plot" as you say; and the answer to all of your inquiries does never require "blind faith." The strength and firmness of faith comes out of the capacity to understanding. God gave us a brain to use it! It doesn't contradict rational thinking to live by moral and spiritual conviction; rather it is shown of what kind we are by our course in life. God's name is, I AM; which men deny!
  • BSP on Exodus 6 - 9 years ago
Verse 3: Jehovah God had not fully revealed himself by performing miracles as he had done for Moses. In this way he had not made himself known to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
  • A disciple on John 17 - 9 years ago
Reg; It should very much matter to you to show the appropriate reverence and respect, and see that Christ and God is capitalized when you write! You can do that by holding the "shift" key while typing the C and the G! However one has or has not enough training and practice to write well; it is important that they learn; and I will always push on that: for it will only be for your benefit and good.
  • A disciple - 9 years ago
"Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword..Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not...they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart."There was a false way taken by them that they chose instead of that which the Holy Spirit convicts them to walk in.

Andrew: Why are you repeating my Post?
  • A disciple - 9 years ago
"Thus saith the Lord unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the Lord doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins."We have had great leaders in this country who loved the Lord and spoke by the Spirit; but they were despised! This people that is willing to debase itself morally and spiritually deserves evil!
  • A disciple on Jeremiah 14 - 9 years ago
"And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads." From the Rulers of the Jews to those who control the churches today; having always resisted the Holy Spirit, and refused the obedience and purity of Christ's teachings; are turned away empty.
  • Ray321 on 2 Timothy 3 - 9 years ago
Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Glory be to God to cleanse us with his Holy Word so we can grow in Love.
  • Ray321 on 1 Thessalonians 5 - 9 years ago
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 THE RAPTURE 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 second coming
