Donna Everett; 1 Timothy 2:12 "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." Genesis 3:16 "Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." That women are to be subject has always been, up until modern times.

  • Ella Williams on Psalms 127 - 9 years ago
I need help from the Almighty God. In my trouble I call unto the Lord for that is where my help comes from. Hear me Oh Lord for I am in trouble. I looked to the right but there is no one, I looked to the left but there was no one. I looked to you for you are my strength and my refuge. Thank you Lord Jesus
  • Ray321 on 2 Thessalonians 3 - 9 years ago
2 Thessalonians 3:14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Some brothers in Christ might not have all the answers to the Word of God, but if that brother is willing to pervert the Word of God, then we must have no company with him. We still have to love and pray for him in the Lord.
  • Ray321 on 2 Thessalonians 2 - 9 years ago
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition This verse is talking about the tribulation that the antichrist will reveal himself. It will be easier to fall from sin in the 7 year tribulation then the Grace of age we live right now.
  • Wayne on 1 Corinthians 3 - 9 years ago
    V. 4 and onward shows that whosoever divides up the body of Christ, the Church, is still carnal, ruled by sin. There are no divisions in God's church, never has been, never will be. The Church of God,always, will be triumphant. There is a remnant on the narrow road that will not, ever, be deceived.

BSP, Christians dont have indifference or greed.
  • Wayne on 1 John 3 - 9 years ago
Vv. 1-3 states only the pure in heart will arrive in heaven. So follow the scriptures and get pure or lose out for eternity.
  • Ray321 on 2 Thessalonians 1 - 9 years ago
2 Thessalonians 1:2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Let Jesus Christ have all the glory with the power of God. Always loving Jesus.
  • Ray321 on 1 Thessalonians 5 - 9 years ago
1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. This verse is talking about the Rapture that will happen before the tribulation. The second coming of Jesus will be in the tribulation when he come down on the Mount of Olive to save the believers. Zechariah 14:2-4
  • Ray321 on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 9 years ago
1 Thessalonians 4:16, Jesus will shout with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God, to meet the saved believers in the Lord dead or alive in the clouds. This is the Rapture that will happen first, then the 7 year tribulation will start. The second coming of Jesus the Angels will sound the great trumpet, Matthew 24:31, and the Angels will snatch away the wicked, Matthew 23:41-43.
  • Candace Driggers on Hebrews 10 - 9 years ago
I want to insert that a church is a individual person, not a building. Also another thing I will add is that a I have the gift of healing and this is how I clear karmic debt and offer over to God the Father a living sacrifice. By

I need chapter and verse in the Old Testament that talks about a woman not standing/speaking in the congregation or assembly. I am not sure of the exact wording. But in other words, women are not to preach. They can teach but not preach. Please help. I have searched and searched but can't find it. I know I have read this and I don't want to misquote it. Thank you.
  • BSP on John 15 - 9 years ago
Jehovah God loved his son very much and Jesus Christ shows that same love to us in return.
  • Ray321 on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 9 years ago
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: This is one of the mystery that Paul explains, the Rapter. Now the 7 year tribulation is a another event, they will be a snatching away of the wicked. Both are different.
  • Ray321 on 1 Thessalonians 3 - 9 years ago
1 Thessalonians 3:12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you. If we get loving one another and share the gospel, we won't have to worry about wolf's in sheep clothing. Let us increase our Love and Faith in Christ Jesus.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly on Ephesians 1 - 9 years ago
Christians are growing and growing in iniquity and NOT in the truth. Ephesians 1:4 without blame, ((without sin)) before him in love since the foundation of the world. We are to be without blame ((without sin)) as all sin is of the devil period and all sinners will burn. Verse 5 being predestined the answer is found in Romans 8:29-30.

Jesus for told that the least of his brethern would be the greatest........Paul was the least of the apostles (the brethren) ( 1 Cor 15:9)
Peter warned of those who would twist Pauls words to their own destruction ( 2 Pet 3:16).
  • Tikki on 3 John 1 - 9 years ago
I find it interesting that John referred to himself as an "elder".
In the book of revelation the "elders" who were in heaven (spiritual realm- Rev 1:10). Ended up having to cast their crowns down at the feet of him who was worthy (Jesus- Rev 4:10)
The apostle Paul was the greatest apostle, due to the fact that he received the good news via the spirit of truth , by revelation ( Gal 1:12).
  • Ray321 on 1 Thessalonians 2 - 9 years ago
1 Thessalonians 2:14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: Notice Paul did not say follow Jesus, but the churches of God which in Judaea. The reason is to not confuse the gospel of Paul. Paul wanted the his teaching to stay the same .
  • Ray321 on 1 Thessalonians 1 - 9 years ago
1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. It was very important for the Gentile Church of Thessalonians to follow the gospel that Paul preach and wrote. They also follow Paul.
  • Ray321 on Colossians 4 - 9 years ago
Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. I have to remind myself, answering everyone with guidelines and with Grace. God is Love, there for we must Love one another.
  • Ray321 on Colossians 3 - 9 years ago
Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience. Paul was warning the Church of Collosians that they should be dead in Christ and not sin, or God will take away there life on earth. The disobedience Child of God was still saved but will be going to Heaven sooner.
  • Ray321 on Colossians 2 - 9 years ago
Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses 5 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. We will still sin, but God will give us a new body.
  • Ray321 on Colossians 1 - 9 years ago
25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: Paul is a minister to the Church of Collosians, ministering the secrets that Jesus told him. Now the mystery is revealed.
  • A disciple on 1 Peter 2 - 9 years ago
"..THE COVETOUS WHOM THE LORD ABHORRETH" This is a part that many might think strange, or inconsistent with the New Testament dispensation of mercy and grace. But such thinking is really inconsistent with the moral excellence and love of the truth in God. Our lives do not consist in those things we would lust after, or possess, or how through them we would hope to be admired and accepted by men.
  • A disciple on Psalms 15 - 9 years ago
Pamela; The Worthiness here spoken of refers to a clean conscience, and a good and right heart that receives the Word, and brings forth the fruit thereof; which is the character and behavior made in the image and likeness of God. I encourage all of us to read carefully 2 Peter 1, about what it means to walk with the Lord, and not stumble! and how to "prove ourselves worthy" of His Calling upon us.

Andrew Kelly (cont.); Furthermore, Jesus and the Father are ONE; who are you to say the opposite? He that sees the Son, sees the Father that sent Him. How does one dare to let words like that find a place in his heart to accept them; (what you said about the Lord); don't you even feel guilty or afraid of such things? If you think that you accepted Jesus as your personal Saviour, you missed it man!
  • A disciple on John 5 - 9 years ago
Andrew; Its always amazing to me at what gall some have; so easily to blaspheme the Lord Jesus! While pretending religion, you take an opportunity to give your mouth to the devil and say such a thing about Him who is above all heavens and all the earth and to whom every knee shall bow! I am disgusted by the casual uncleanness and easy kind of "spurious" Christianity that comes out of the churches!
