There are many things in the Bible that show us the mercy of God. We must remember our thoughts are not his thoughts. Where one gives an opinion instead of being all knowing let's pray that God will show the reader his true meaning for their understanding. Thank you God; for your saving Grace and Mercy.

Isaiah 12 generally shows JEHOVAH LORD is a loving father who will punish you especially when you are going astray and then stretches his loving arm to comfort you.The punishment here is put back on the right truck with him.

Wow! Jesus' death and resurrection prophesied 1000 years in advance and crucifixion described centuries before it was used. I remember reading this Psalm after being saved and finally having the Holy Spirit living in me to give understanding of the Scriptures and was amazed that I never heard this in the false gospel "christian" church I was raised in. Thank you Lord Jesus for dying for me!!!

For with thee is the fountain of life. From his light we can see the light. Jesus is the only light of the world he is the only gateway to heaven only believe that he is the Son of the Living God. Thank you Jesus and i believe your words for you are Faithful. You are my rock and my salvation hosanna in the highest amen hallelujah

am just getting the challenge right,,,that i should cherish every day that God gives to me because it could be the last...its never a guarantee that i will be alive tomorrow

You should not call yourself Evangelist, Mr. Kelly; because you don't really display any kind of an Evangelist's heart toward others, especially your brethren! The Lord and Master would never break a bruised reed or quench a smoking flax; Jesus always has compassion and SEEKS those who are of the truth. The only ones He was severe with were the hypocrites who made themselves hateful and hostile.

But Mr. Kelly; the same John wrote just a few verses away from where you're referring; These things I write to you that you not sin; but if anyone sin, we have an Advocate with the Father...There is a sin not unto death, and there is a sin unto death; and the Lord has authorized whom He has anointed to discern and judge and pronounce in His name: to loose or bind, to remit or retain peoples sins.

Mr. Kelly; A strong confession is a good start, in that it causes us to think about the words themselves. Its important to understand however; (and I only say for purpose of teaching); that we not be misled by a wrongly placed zeal. By that I mean, mimicking and parroting others who actually lived and experienced what they spoke. We should pray to really know the Lord like our heroes in the Bible.

From reading chapter 1 through 10 I feel Wisdom and Instruction cries out but its not the type of wisdom and instruction this world has to offer, it only comes from our father. Once we cry out to God and receive him as our saviour and read his word then the Holy Spirit will teach us what the wisdom and instructions are. They kinda remind me of hidden treasure that only the Holy Spirit can give us

Colossians 2:6 "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:" One of the most famous sayings of our Lord Jesus Christ which everyone knows as the Golden Rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you " should be the first thing we consider, regarding those among whom we live and work every day. And this Golden Rule must be something that really lives and breates and moves inside us. While we want to be truly the blessed poor in spirit, they that mourn, the meek, those that hunger and thirst after righteousness it can only be formed in us by the things that draw out those virtues, like provocations and insults. The same is true if we want to be sincerely the pure in heart, the merciful, and the peacemaker it means encountering people that challenge us regarding that grace. We've often heard about some who get big promotions, and later forget where they came from. If we ever expect to grow up into that supremely great character of virtue and knowledge and self control, of patience and piety and brotherly love and to truly reflect that grace in our hearts by a manner of life worthy of being called by Jesus' name then we have to hold on to that first love, and that first hour's experience through all our days, and as much as it is in our power with everyone we meet.

Acts 13:35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. When Jesus was in the belly of the earth, he saw no corruption, but David did see corruption. Jesus was Holy and Perfect.

Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. Prayer is so important, by praying, we can move mountains.

Acts 11:18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. All the Gentiles have to do is change there way of believing and believe God's way. That's repentance.

Acts 10:13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter kill, and eat. Peter was stuck in the Old Testament teaching of the Messiah. This is where Paul starts to take over later in the chapters. Paul will heal more others and have the Holy Ghost longer. There is a reason for that, only God knows.

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior had chosen Apostle Paul for the Gentiles. This will be the most important time in Paul's life when Jesus speak to him. It will change the world for ever, the Grace age of the Church . Praise the Lord

Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Jesus was standing to come down from Heaven, but when they stone Stephen, the second coming of Jesus was delayed, Jesus sat back down at the right hand of God. The Grace age begins later in the book of Acts.

Acts 6:9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. Stephen had enemies which were large. Stephen was headed for persecution for the death of Jesus. This will delay the second coming of Jesus.

Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? It's always good to give to the Lord, if not, the Lord can make you pay some way or another.

Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Here we go again, Peter is letting the Jews know how they crucified Jesus. Remember Peter did not believe that Jesus was going to be raised from dead, he wasn't there to see.

Acts 3:14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you. What's interesting is how Peter told the Jews how badly they murder Jesus , but never said anything about the resurrection of the Body of Jesus in detail. Also never said anything about Jesus being the Body of the Church. We will find later who Jesus tells about the Body of the Church .

"If your brother trespass against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day say to you, I repent; you shall forgive him..Seventy times seven!" There is righteousness; in the repentance, and in the mercy of the other to release him. Sinners can't prevent righteousness by sinning; but oppose, contradict, fight against, etc. When we bear up cheerfully under wrongs done, its righteousness.

Ron; correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds to me like you don't think Moses (or anyone) could appear unless they were living flesh and bones? I AM lives, and He is the Author of life; but Jesus said that God is a spirit. Besides, as soon as the spirit leaves the body, the body dies; it is the spirit that animates our physical bodies: but spirits don't need flesh and bones to live by themselves.

Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel The Apostles thought they were on the last days. Joel 1:15 15 Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. The Apostle knew the day of the Lord was near. They were living it , but something stops all that, in chapter 7, the stoning of Stephen. Jews rejected Christ.

"The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones..For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. For the people turns not unto him that smites them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts." How many times have we seen someone facing the grave proclaiming, Never surrender! They pride themselves in stubbornness and will die unprepared to meet the LORD.

Mr. Kelly ( Eph. 1 cont.); All these beautiful and powerful words that you write from the Scriptures, I know are the truth, and the only wisdom in this world. But I think that as long as we are still in this present existence, we will not have fully arrived at nor attain to the fullness of the virtue and glory of Jesus our Lord; we will still see through a glass with some obscurity of our nature.

Mr. Kelly; "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." I've had plenty of experience with certain who torqued down on the Scriptures to fit their understanding or favorite interpretation. But really the LORD is not fooled no matter how strongly we protest and demand that we know better; for He see into the innermost parts. Honesty and humility show our faith.

Hi Ron; You may be forgetting a thing or two: Samuel was called back from the world of the dead, not resurrected, but his spirit. And in the same place, the woman said she saw the spirits going up fro the earth. There is nothing in the Bible to suggest that our spirits don't look like us in our flesh bodies; just that they're spirits. Paul was taken up into the third heaven "in the body or out.."

Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. The 11 Apostles were told to stay in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father in heaven. They were waiting for the second coming of Jesus .

The whole New Testament is true and inspired by God. Paris Jesus our Lord and Saviour. Jesus summed up all the commandments saying there are only 2 commandments. Love God with all your heart and soul and love your neighbor as you love God or as you love yourself.
