That means the original Hebrew didn't have own in it, it was added by the kjv translators. As to what happened.? To who? Do u mean Adam and Eve? Verse 8 is the fulfilling of Isaiah 6:9. "His name shall be called the mighty God" NOT "My name" NOT the Almighty God and Father the mighty God all power was passed from Father to Son. I love John 8 especially verse 17. Jesus was a separate being from God his Father. Two men walking in one accord in unity. Then latter comes the Holy Ghost and we have a trio and not a trinity.

John 8:16] And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
17] It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

We are now to be the image of the Son of God. After Adam and Eve man are a mom and dad creation we are gods we can create do good and evil. We are now the image of God only through his Son our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

God is wonderful and we must obey his word

I know that the Lord Jesus has forgiven me my sins, and made me clean through His word. Yet I am deeply mortified and grieved when I think of about how badly I polluted myself in sins. I think this is a good sign of true awakening, when there's a real repentance and conversion. When the day comes that God wipes away all tears from off all our faces, then will we be made to forget the pat for ever.

The word of Jehovah God is always right and will always come true.

I like how the book of James contains to every day of our life. Not just yesterday.

Vs.5 highlight the importance of studying God's word. When we pay attention to the commands in the Bible we will know how to act with wisdom and avoid harm.

Good is Jehovah to the one hoping in him, to the person who keeps seeking him.

Jehovah God is the only means of salvation out of this wicked world. As we creep deeper and deeper into these last days, we see more and more how humans can not ring about any sort of hope or help to human kind. We have to put trust in Jehovah God in order to survive Armageddon.

The Bible definitely encourages the act of gift giving and to be generous with such. I know many people apply this scripture to tithes, but when you read the full chapter it goes beyond that. Paul encouraged Christians here to be generous towards those who renounced material possession to assist people spiritually, and also to be generous towards a "relief" ministry.

I give all my worries to the Lord. After all I have been through, I am tired of the anxiety and upset.

"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: so likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors." The point of this parable is NOT to use the fig tree in some kind of symbolism, to mean Israel (for example); but for how when we shall see the "yet tender" evil beginning to spring.

WE MUST ENDURE TO THE END TO BE SAVED!

This chapter is very inspirational as it lets me know that there is no lack in the Lord there is peace, restoration, protection for God is with me. The Lord is forever watching over us.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, His grace and mercy keeps me.
