Tsegazeab zemichael; Greetings to you, Brother, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is so important for us to learn from Jesus what kind of man to be in this world. So many things attack us out of ambush, and the flesh and the devil roar and threaten; but GREATER IS OUR GOD AND SAVIOUR WHO IS IN US! Hallelujah! We need His strength, and we have it! We need His encouragement, He loves us!

Darrell; I'm sure there are some very smart old books where we can get a good and thorough answer to that question; I speculate that they were simply two names, like, 'John Smith,' or perhaps it was something in the languages? Good question! I like that Moses was still humble and respectful toward his father-in-law, and of his spirituality; receiving his guidance and wisdom in handling the people

I love this whole part when the Lord Jesus talks with the twelve at the Last Supper: so very important for us to know. In these pages (Ch.13-17) is described all our commission from Him, and all that we are to expect till He returns. What especially stands out to me is how the Holy Spirit dwelling in us is the One who convicts, teaches, speaks; we are the vessels through which God seeks the lost.

Lu2677 (cont.); It is our duty for love's sake, to have mercy on one another when addressing faults and sins. Addressing of the fault and sin IS AS IMPORTANT and is part of being brothers! Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him...go and tell him his fault..if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. We want PEACE!

Its NOT the Scriptures! Its the MIS-use of the Scriptures to continually find fault with others, WHO HAVE DONE YOU NO HARM! Typical self-centered, "don't you dare correct ME" response! May I direct your attention to Hebrews 12, which, IF you read it carefully, clearly makes the connection between keeping one's self clean and right with the Lord, and receiving correction..."chastisement" as a son!

If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. Yes, Lord, I thirst of you daily. Give me to drink from the spring of living waters.

The formula for enjoying God's favour as David did is in verse 61: "Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments."

Some of the explanations are very deep so you have to read it very carefully.

In 2012 I went to the beach 2 years after the bp spill. I got sores all over my body. Being a diabetic my foot got seriously bad. But all through that I never ince blamed God. I knew who to blame. In January 2015 to April 2016 I had 6 major surgeries. It was because of God i got through it all. It reminded me of Job. Faith gets you through it. God is love. Satan is pain.

1 Timothy 4:13-16. V.13"Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine." Hebrews 12:5 Very good advice. Exhort; To incite by argument or advice, to urge strongly, to give warnings, urgent appeal. The apostles did it. I am willing to do what the Lord says in his word to do. It is urgent, the Lord might return tonight. I have compassion for those that lack understanding.
  • Lu2677 on Acts 14 - 9 years ago
Paul and Barnabus in; Acts 14:22 "exhorting them"," through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God." To use your words; "tantrums when faced with people that want to kill you." If you buckle and wine because of what "little ol' me has to say, how will you endure til the end?
A word of "exhortation" should be received with gratitude to the Lord at least.
  • Villa Harris on Ephesians 4 - 9 years ago

  • Insight777 on Matthew 11 - 9 years ago
There are 3 main religions today that believe in Abraham and the promise of the kingdom of God for their followers. These religions differ in doctrine so they oppose each other. Violent believers in their God of Abraham fight the others trying to take the kingdom of God by force. The door to the kingdom is Jesus, the Son of God. The violent do not believe Jesus is Savior so they are not saved.

  • Insight777 on Ezekiel 13 - 9 years ago
V18, this is a parable of the future war and the pillows are parachutes soldiers use to drop into battle areas to hunt the enemy. The kerchiefs are the woven technology in the helmets, statue. This infiltration causes pilots to enter fighter jets to fly over and hunt the hunters.
  • Insight777 on Ezekiel 1 - 9 years ago
Ezekiel sees 4 attack helicopters, the duel wheel type similar to a Kamov KA. The crystal is the windshield. Helicopter wings droop down when at rest. DAS surrounds the aircraft and allows the pilot to see the fire of missiles below his feet as if the floor was not there.
This is the same vision as the 4 horsemen and it represents the End of Days War.
  • A disciple on Jeremiah 1 - 9 years ago
Insight777; Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26 for starters, tells us quite clearly that defiance and disobedience and indifference incurs God's wrath, especially toward those to whom the most has been entrusted! God is willing to forgive us and save us when we repent and change our ways, for Jesus' sake who loved us and died in our place. But to the defiant and unrepentant wicked no salvation!
  • A disciple on 2 Timothy 4 - 9 years ago
Jesus preached about Hell, and Gehenna, and Damnation of the wicked, and the worm that never dies, and wailing and gnashing of teeth, and about a certain rich man who ended up "Tormented in this flame." "But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." "..except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
  • Lu2677 on Mark 1 - 9 years ago
"Burr under my saddle" Why does the scripture that I write offend you? Jesus wants people that are not offended in him.

  • Dee on John 14 - 9 years ago
Spending so much time debating Gods word among one another is a trick of the enemy. He keeps us distracted by getting us to argue and debate what "we" think Gods word is saying. But instead we are to take it to God, ask and seek Him for the wisdom and understanding to know His word and what it holds for us....
