    To Lu2677 (2):
Lake of fire is eternal habitation of devil and his angels.
At the same time, is called the 2nd death, but for whom_why? Devil, being immortal (?), is alive, it would only be his 1st, not 2nd death. However, »it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” ( Heb 10:27). So men only can experience the 2nd death, which is in the lake of fire, after the judgment.

Bruce,You ask "where will you be in eternity?" A saved person (one that knows who God is through faith, and believing all of His word, walking in truth) will be in His Kingdom, heaven. I believe the verse you gave; you hold fast to your own opinion.I answered your questions but you did not answer mine. Yes, I need a savior;every day. I walk by faith not by sight. And yes, a saved person will know.

To Lu2677 (1): I do not know if your comment is directed at my previous comment or not, so I apologize if it is not.
If it was, I humbly ask that you look again at the Revelation 20:10 - it only states that devil, and in association the beast and the false prophet, are torment day and night for ever and ever in the lake of fire, prepared specifically for devil and his angels ( Mat 25:41)...
  • Dejvi Kadivnik on Revelation 20 - 9 years ago
To A disciple: I apologize if you perceived me and my comment as superior or pseudo-intellectual. That was not my intention. However, I stand by my statement, which is based on research of the Scripture. If you have any specific criticism regarding my statement, backed up by an actual Bible citation, which undermines my statement, please provide it.

God raised up Samuel to be a deliver of the Israelites from the Philistines but Samson allowed himself to be blinded by ungodly pleasures. However, Samson would not allow any false god to be given credit for this situation, so he called upon the Lord God to strengthen him and show forth his almighty power and he destroyed over three thousand Philistines, even in his death. To God be the Glory.

Ron; Sorry to hear about your crippling accident. The LORD has a purpose for all things and will work them out for good. WE can only pray and wait on the LORD to do what HE has on HIS mind. Like I said sorry to hear about your accident but I will be praying with you in your time of need.

  • Brianna vs. 7 on Jeremiah 24 - 9 years ago
I look forward to the time that vs. 7 is completely fulfilled. I look forward to having a relationship with my heavenly father, the way he intended it to be.

    Jeremiah 24:7
And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Jehovah. They will become my people, and I will become their God, for they will return to me with all their heart
  • Brianna vs. 3 on Proverbs 12 - 9 years ago
We may see a lot of wickedness in this world go unpunished, however it is not rooted. When God brings judgement, Satan and his elements will be destroyed. However, righteous individuals will be firmly rooted in the life to come. ( Psalms 37:9-11,29)

Vs 8. We should learn to do good to people at all time because whatsoever thing we do shall we reap weather it be good or bad, weather you are a christian or not.

Knowing that our God is a righteous judge.

"Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt:" (finally) And one thing that we all must learn from Jesus, is how to love as He loves; and to have compassion on others, even as He has had pity on us. The things that God lets us see, Lord willing, we'll know more tomorrow than today: and we should others to find His kindness the same way we have, and treat them so.
  • A disciple - 9 years ago
"Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt:" (cont.) But if we really do have a true and solid conversion, and continue on growing in grace and knowledge; the more we will realize that "holier than thou" spirits, and bullying with the Sacred Scriptures, does vast harm to the Lord's cause of winning souls. The one who is truly safe in his faith is safe among others.
  • A disciple on Deuteronomy 10 - 9 years ago
"Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt:" as it says in another place; "..for you know the heart of a stranger." Sometimes when we're new to the things of the Lord we somehow think that our new found little bit of knowledge now makes us superior to our unsaved family, friends and neighbors, and the terrible crisis we were in just a short time ago seems far away!
  • Peter A. Okebukola on John 6 - 9 years ago
Jesus is the bread of life and we must keep eating the bread for a guarantee of eternal life. John 6: 35: I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. So we should keep coming to Him daily for the satisfaction of our spiritual hunger and thirst.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on 1 Kings 3 - 9 years ago
What a landmark judgement, fit only to be inspired divinely. Solomon could not have asked for a better gift from God.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on 2 Samuel 22 - 9 years ago
What a joyful praise of God by David.
  • A disciple on Genesis 5 - 9 years ago
Hi Cheryl; A couple things that should help you understand these parts better. The Lamech who had two wives was a descendant of Cain, a different man altogether from Noah's father who was from the line of Shem, and lived some time later. It is interesting, when you add up the years, the flood happened in 1656 after Creation, the same year that Methuselah died.
  • Wayne on Matthew 26 - 9 years ago
Matt. 16:16-17, Peter answered, thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. My Father has showed this unto you.
  • Wayne on Matthew 26 - 9 years ago
Gen.1:26,Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness. Father, Son, Holy Ghost, Christ's very own words.
  • A disciple on 1 Timothy 2 - 9 years ago
The woman was not cursed, nor the man; but the serpent! Read the account again please! God listened to the confession and witness of Adam and his wife, and pronounced doom upon the serpent for what he had done; declaring that Christ would come in the flesh and "break his head" through His own sacrifice of Himself into the hands of the devil's seed. The ground was cursed; not the man nor his wife.
  • Lu2677 on Matthew 3 - 9 years ago
I really would like to know where people get the idea that Jesus was 30 years old, or about 30 years old when he started his public ministry.
  • Wayne on Matthew 28 - 9 years ago
Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
