Hi Cheryl; No, not a Publisher's addition! the clean beasts were to go by sevens into the ark. So, were the "two by two's" two pairs? that would make sense for the "seven's" and for the repopulating of the earth as well. With three stories, and as large a a Battleship, its amazing to think about the greatness of what Noah did! And in the 100 years it took to build the ark, still no one repented!
  • Insight777 on Jeremiah 1 - 9 years ago
Jeremiah is a prophet of the future but Jesus said beware of Benjaminite wolves. Is the Lord God speaking through Jeremiah, the Father of Jesus? No. The true God does not plot the destruction of Judah. This Lord man "god" calls for the death of all Jews in order to rule Jerusalem and the world.
  • Maria Morales on Acts 6 - 9 years ago
The Grecians were not gentiles, they are Jews who were Greek. The Hebrew Jews were citizens of Jerusalem. Remember, in chapter 1, it said there were Jews from all nations under heaven who were dwelling in Jerusalem.
  • A disciple on John 7 - 9 years ago
"After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him." The hostile and hateful who oppose and contradict Jesus and any and all who love Jesus; would love it to be fighting and quarreling with us all the time, and wasting our time! But we have to know when its time to let men have their own ways, and leave them alone.

I am thankful that God has given me a heart to seek his wisdom, and not the wisdom of men.
Those that walk in the light, love the light, they love words that edify. Those that walk in darkness, hate the light, they love words that destroy, and bring wrath.
  • Richard Kumar on Luke 15 - 9 years ago
What do we know about the father and son's name etc. in Luke 15: 11-21?
  • Maria Morales on Acts 5 - 9 years ago
Verse 30-31The God of our fathers has raised up Jesus to be a Prince and Savior to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
  • Lu2677 on Proverbs 30 - 9 years ago
Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God is pure,he is a shield to them that put their trust in him." The SACRED SCRIPTURES are not futile, does no harm, does not return void, and does not hinder the winning of souls. The scriptures rebuke, correct.I would rather be wounded by a friend (Jesus) that kissed by those that follow Satan.V.6"Add thou not to his word, lest he reprove you and you be found a liar"
  • A disciple on John 11 - 9 years ago
"Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus." When the Lord said, that not even a sparrow falls to the ground without our Father, this is so wonderful and comforting to us, who are only little ones in this world. A little family of two sisters and a brother; no mention of the parents, probably meaning that they weren't around anymore; But their house was Jesus' home, whenever He came by.

  • Maria Morales on Acts 4 - 9 years ago
Verse 12 says there is no name under heaven given among men whereby we can be saved. Mary the mother of Christ neither any other can save us and yet people pray to them.
  • Lu2677 on Deuteronomy 10 - 9 years ago
Deuteronomy 10:20 "Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, Him shalt thou serve, and to him thou shalt cleave, and swear by His name." v. 21 "He is thy praise, and he is thy God,"
  • Andrew Vandi on 1 Samuel 5 - 9 years ago
His name is YAHUAH ALAHIM NOT God, His son name is YAHUSHA HA MACHIACH NOT Jesus Christ. I beg of you guys. Do not call him by the name of the Heathens. PLEASE, HE is the the YAHUAH of the Hebrew Israelites, and I am his humble servant. SHALAWAM ISRAEL.

Bruce, 1 Timothy 6:3-6 Words to consider.
  • Maria morales on Acts 3 - 9 years ago
Verse 18 tells us what Christ fullfilled. The things which were written of him that he should suffer. That is what the prophets wrote about him not that he would abolish the law of God. I always hear people say Christ fulfilled the law and now we don't have to keep the law. That is a lie! We must keep the law of God. We don't have to sacrifice anymore because Christ is our sacrifice for sin.
  • Lu2677 on Acts 9 - 9 years ago
Bruce, Acts 9:3-9 Saul, later called Paul was met by God on the Road to Damascus, Saul trembled and was astonished. God blinded Saul and he did not eat or drink for 3 days.No where in the Bible does it teach that when God draws/calls someone they have to be blinded or fast for 3 days.So your term "tug on the heart" is your own fabrication of John 6:44. You insist on using your term against me.

I really enjoyed reading these comments, it brings out the feeling of some else is there with you these are precious moments in one life.
  • Lu2677 on Mark 1 - 9 years ago
Bruce, Mark 1:10-13 After Jesus was baptized by John and the Spirit descended on him, "immediately" the Spirit drove Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan for forty days.I don't know of any teaching in the Bible that says when God calls someone they will be in the wilderness for forty days being tempted by Satan.Nor does it say there has to be a "tug on the heart."

  • A disciple on Matthew 3 - 9 years ago
Lu2677; Luke 3:23 - "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph.." There are actual records that can be found relating to the things that were happening back then; so that we can with reasonable certainty know that Jesus died April 3rd, and rose again April 6th in A.D. 37; the same year that Matthew wrote his Evangel Narrative in Hebrew.
  • Lu2677 on Romans 11 - 9 years ago
Bruce, John 6:44"draw"is a call, high calling of God. Romans 11:29 "For the gifts and calling of God, are without repentance." Apparently God called you with a"tug of the heart", but you cannot go around saying that it would happen to everyone that he calls. If this is what you are saying you are in breach of Ro.11:29, you are implying that one should repent/not saved; if they did not feel a tug.
  • Felicia on 2 Chronicles 15 - 9 years ago
    Verse 4
It's a blessing that God never changes. He always receives us back when we have a change of heart. He has great compassion for us. God knows that we need Him so He is gracious to us. Thank you Lord Jesus for your name is great and your heart is kind.
  • A disciple on Genesis 18 - 9 years ago
To Marty's comment 2/2016; How does one open the Bible, and not be afraid to think and say what you said? The episode with Noah is glaringly apparent; Ham had no compunctions about looking on his father's nakedness, and no respect or fear to talk about it out loud! He was a filthy rebel in his heart, and it manifested in his descendants after him! Japheth and Shem loved and honored their father!
  • A disciple on Genesis 18 - 9 years ago
Dear Ron; I'm so sorry to read about your sickness. I will pray for you to be healed also, and for the Lord to help you with all the strength and comfort you need. There are things I think are too hard for us in this life, and we just want to be strong and feel like we were before. It may be unbelief; it may be that we have to search our hearts and give account to God; it may be we have to wait?
  • Polycarp e.n. on 2 Samuel 22 - 9 years ago
I lack words to describe what our God is. David tried in this chapter but not all. God has been better than the best. If I call Him truth, trust, assurance or hope, I have not started. He is everything at everytime.
  • Bruce on Genesis 7 - 9 years ago
Cheryl: Of every clean Beast thou shall take to thee by sevens, the mail and his female: and of beast that are not clean by two,the male and his female. Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth Genesis 7:2-3. It has never been changed.
  • Lu2677 on Genesis 18 - 9 years ago
Ron,'what will it take for him to heal me." God wounds us and heals us for many different reasons. There is no set formula, He heals the wicked as well as the righteous, as it pleases him. Psalms;"I know that it is good for me to be afflicted, that I might learn your statutes."Read chapter 2 Cor. 12, V.7 Paul asked him 3 times to remove the pain (thorn) in his side. Job 13:15 , Job 23:12-16.
  • Lu2677 on Genesis 3 - 9 years ago
"read the account again"v.14 To Satan;because thou hast done this you are cursed.God started the curse in 14, continued the curse in 15."And unto the woman he said."Continued the curse in 16 "And unto Adam He said."through 19.The physical death of the body, and having knowledge of good and evil is a given, happened when they ate.Did the new covenant change the events of 14-19? NO. Still cursed

  • Lu2677 on 1 Timothy 2 - 9 years ago
Genesis 3:15-19 Your response is very sad to me. Getting kicked out of the beautiful Garden, sweating over the ground (planting) death, pain in child birth, women desiring to rule over men, Verse says, God says he cursed Adam and Eve, and all of mankind born after them, (born in sin) death, is part of it. Yet, you say, God did not curse Adam and Eve. I guess you do not believe what God says.
