With Death cast in the lake of fire either:
a) Death suffers eternally, meaning it exist always, which means it is not destroyed, or
b) Death is destroyed once and for all eternity, meaning there would be no more death. But if death is destroyed so would be everything else before it ( 1 Corinthians 15:26: The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death).

It follows that if men in the lake of fire are tormented in the presence of the Lamb forever, they are FOREVER in HIS PRESENCE, not separated from him. So death can not be separation eternal consious torment in the presence of the Lamb, it can only be consious torment until total destruction in the presence of the Lamb, followed by separation (being dead)

Jesus makes man whole, uncircumcised, on the sabbath. The Jews were cutting flesh for religious reasons and Jesus was not. There is no scripture that says Jesus was circumcised. Jesus is making the point that they follow the rituals of Moses but he does not. They follow the fathers of Moses not the Son of God therefore they have no salvation.

In verse 23, Jesus gave the kernel of what He desires of Christians: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him." May we all honour our Redeemer Jesus by staying at the centre of His will. We need to be washed in His sin-cleansing Blood and keep our salvation current.

I think it would take too much time trying to run behind every one who has a mistaken notion, or strange doctrine, and get into stressful drawn out debates and strife about words; and in the end, who ever really listens anyway? "He that wins souls is wise." It is sure an art to be able to make a good connection with a soul, and help him in gaining freedom in the truth.

John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb. The Lord Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh; and therefore the Spirit of God would have always been in God; and He would never need like "created men" to have been given something as from another place. Men have the Holy Spirit of God given to them. God has His own Spirit in Him, and by His divine power sends Him out.

Jesus denied being the seed of the flesh of David. Jesus is the Son of God. Verse 6 is so important when it comes to communication with non believers. Always be mindful how you witness to people. As a Christian, we must be tactful with grace in spreading the word of God. Some people really don't believe that hell exist or that Jesus can save you from your sins. But how would they know unless we show them through the word of God. Be wise as a serpent

This is God introducing those present at the baptism of Jesus, and now us as we read, to Jesus. He is identifying who Jesus is, describing how he feels about him, and approving him. When I confessed my sins to the Lord and repented, and was delivered from unclean spirits; I was Baptized in water; and being before instructed, I asked the Lord that He would Baptize me in the Holy Spirit; and I came up speaking in tongues. He has also opened my understanding to Scriptures.

A Disciple: as a follow-up on your comment, may I ask you what Paul asked the Ephesians in Acts 19...Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? If so, how do you know you received him? And what do you mean by "when we are obedient"?

Sentinel God,s gift of salvation is a gift you cannot work to get it.
You become born again you are changed this will produce in you a desire to serve God and do works. Works come as a result of a relationship with God not the other way around.
