  • Wendell Bonin on Hebrews 5 - 9 years ago
Is the translation correct because i think it was melchisedec that offered the strong weeping and tears because the father always heard jesus and then a little further it mentions that this is the doctrine. Jesus was never in the"flesh"
  • Lu2677 on Genesis 12 - 9 years ago
Genesis 3:15-19 (is a good example of a curse) He cursed women to have "sorrow"= pain during child birth. He cursed women to (desire) their husband."desire" here means that she will rule over him, yet,the husband will rule over her. This explains why women want to be in control of everything. It lasts forever on earth, unless he removes it. It is important for women to fight the urge to control.

So many of us comprimise ourselves for the ways of others or for the fear of how others will precieve or think about us,we lose our core values, that voice that says this isn't you, don't do it,we get lost along the way but with God on our side,we BECOME the light in the darkest of places, think of the 8 ball in pool, all black but the white circle in the middle, thats the light you carry:) GOD BLESS U

  • April on 1 Samuel 24 - 9 years ago
In the bible it was stated An eye for an eye,a tooth for a tooth, but here in this story,David knew of this to be an oppurtunity to give back what Saul was dishing out,but he had a choice and he chose NOT to kill Saul,we ALL have choices to do onto others as we want done unto thy self, even if God delivered him into his hands, was this a test perhasps?and how many times have we been tested?God BlessU
  • April/Linda ncube on 1 Samuel 21 - 9 years ago
I believe here detained is referring to held up or there to worship, therefore it could be he was there to praise father, and detained in that purpose or GOD detained him there so he couldn't leave and tell Saul right away, but I'm thinking he was there to worship GOD that day,but as we all can tell nothing with GOD is a coincidence,:), all goes accordingly to plan, this is just my opinion of course:)
  • Diana Cross on Psalms 127 - 9 years ago
I think it's beautiful, I love the book of Psalms....David was a man after God's own heart, would that we could all be like David, and yes we need to quiet our souls sometimes and rest, be still and know that he is God of everything and in control
  • I AM on Mark 16 - 9 years ago
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.
  • Arthur on Genesis 2 - 9 years ago
I don't know what's going on here but I'm reading the 1611 version and in verse 9 where it says "And out of the ground" the "the" is a thorn old Runic letter for "th" and a little tiny e. Which is how I think "the" would have been spelled in those days, But it's only in that one verse. If you do a Ctrl F search it goes away. I don't know why.

:-( this made me very sad,I had tears come from my eyes, yes I am sensitive, but what ever lol, such a touching relationship,I agree with A DISCIPLE, its hard to find that kind of Love now adays,I feel this way for my bestfriend,I care for her as my own flesh and blood,I hope that we all can realize we have different opinions but not one is "better" then the other, some just carry more enlightenment:)
  • Insight777 on Isaiah 3 - 9 years ago
Lord does not always mean God in the Bible. Lord is a word used for a human landowner, ruler, a king or prince or respected teacher or husband. Jesus was not born with Holy Spirit from the womb as John was. He received Holy Spirit from God when baptized by John. Then Jesus received the term Lord as, Son of God, respected teacher of God's word. Lord of hosts= nations military leader, not Jesus.

  • Blind on Matthew 9 - 9 years ago
The scriptures are composed of many witness accounts along with testimonies from Prophets and Sons of God. Ultimately they are a dialogue from God for our benefit. Let our study please the Father for what is written in this Book exists nowhere else on earth. Let these words sink down in our ears to our hearts, defiled from generations of misbegotten sinners who have lost their way.

THIS IS A SUMMARY OF GOD'S GUIDANCE AND PROTECTION
  • Lu2677 on Galatians 1 - 9 years ago
Let me say since you have expressed your feelings that you think I am"too sensitive",and I speak as one under "attack" I look foolish to some. I don't recall writing that I felt personally attacked.I do not contend for my own thoughts. You have taken this discourse to a personal carnal place, so I will step away. God's word is for exhortation.I guess you really didn't appreciate our conversation.
  • Jerome on 1 John 4 - 9 years ago
Knowing that greater is HE that is in me bring a sense of power in my life. It means that I am one with GOD and Jesus thru the Holy Spirit.
  • Ren - 9 years ago
cont- Sorry meant Cain not Abel
  • Ren on Genesis 5 - 9 years ago
Genesis 5:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
It doesn't say and Abel was not Adams child anywhere on here.
  • Ren on Genesis 2 - 9 years ago
Genesis 2:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
  • Wayne on Matthew 6 - 9 years ago
    V. 33. Wife and I are retired. When we need extra money the Lord provides. Last few months, spirit of saving money has been on me. When the amount reached $4000, the saving spirit left me. Very noticeable, the departing. The Lord always supplies. Don't know what the needs will be but I know He has supplied to take care of it. Jesus never disappoints but feeds us and clothes us. Praise His Name!!!
  • A disciple - 9 years ago
Lu2677; Hypocritical? I don't see how someone can come up with that one! Jesus never shied away from speaking to anyone, and certainly not His enemies. He resisted the devil's temptations by speaking the Scriptures! How many times did He say to the Pharisees, "Have you not read? ...Have you never read?" I also don't understand why you think everything is an attack. Maybe too sensitive? Peace!
  • A disciple on Matthew 24 - 9 years ago
Lu2677; Please read what I wrote one more time. What I said was that since none of us can really express with words all that the Lord has caused ourselves to know, so we shouldn't be so ready to scrutinize another, as we definitely don't know all the Lord has shown them. This has to do with the secret things that belong to God and the areas in which we aught not to judge each other. Is that wrong?
  • A disciple on Galatians 1 - 9 years ago
Lu2677; No, I'm not correcting you :) The subject of faith and works is talked about by many. I'm trying to engage in good and profitable conversation about the things of the Lord. I know! with only 400 characters allowed, you really have to edit and condense your thoughts; and sometimes there just isn't enough room to say it exactly like you want. Oh well, I'm glad anyway that we have this venue.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on 2 Samuel 13 - 9 years ago
God's reprisal has started coming to pass over the household of David.
