To Chris:Thanks for reading and for feedback. I don't think you quite get what I meant.

I did not mean that Jacob was a scapegoat, but rather in the twisted version of the idea, he had to leave his home to go find his uncle so he would be "safe" from Esau.

It's part of freemason corruption to twist things, to twist the Word of God.

So, as you explained so nicely the meaning of Scapegoat, you see in the story that it is a bit twisted. It's a bit too complicated for me to put into easy words for someone to understand. It's how the occult works- so it becomes distorted, and unclear, but only in Christ can the wisdom, understanding, knowledge, & discernment be given so one can see things as they are, and not how they appear to be.

The scapegoat idea in our day is when the "sins"/filth/persona of one person is dumped onto someone else who is being exploited for their "anointing",talents, ideas, energy etc. such that the person being used as the scapegoat is the recipient of the negative energy that comes from the person who is being masked behind the persona of the "scapegoat". The person who has been exploited is falsely accused, and cast away- sent away, kicked out, given the boot, excommunicated, locked up/incarcerated as white supremacists have done to people of color for years. So, the idea of the scapegoat is not the same as in the Old Testament context, but a twisted version of it.

I know I'm still not being clear.

It's too early to be thinking this and trying to explain it.

    Hi Cole,

Very sorry to hear about your situation, yet at the same time thankful that you're being open about it. We men make wrong choices at times and it is painful to see the effect it has on our wife. You have been open about your wrong - now consider 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God is great and can forgive all our sins and mistakes; He can also help those we've wronged so they can forgive us too, and out relationships can heal. I will pray for you, to accept God's forgiveness and also for your wife that she can forgive you; and that you both can find joy and peace in the life God has for you. God bless!

Why then do you persecute and mock the Son of Man upon the Sabbath. Is he not Lord over the Sabbath. He has not hidden anything from you but invites you to observe his comings and goings and see ye then the Heavenly Father show approval by various miracles and wonders performed by God in Heaven. He has within him the Holy Spirit yet he is under order to remind the world to fear God as well.

Byblos appears as Kebny () in Egyptian hieroglyphic records going back to the 4th-

dynasty pharaoh Sneferu (fl. 2600 BC)[6] and as Gubla () in the Akkadian cuneiform Amarna letters to the 18th-dynasty pharaohs Amenhotep III and IV. In the 1st millennium BC, its name appeared in Phoenician and Punic inscriptions as Gebal (, gbl); in the Hebrew Bible as Geval (); and in Syriac as gbl(). The name seems to derive from gb (, "well") and l (, "god"), the latter a word that could variously refer to any of the Canaanite gods or to their leader in particular. The name thus seems to have meant the "Well" or "Source of the God".

Its present Arabic name Jibayl () or Jbeil ( [bejl]) is a direct descendant of these earlier names, although apparently modified by a misunderstanding of the name as the triliteral root gbl or jbl, meaning "mountain". During the Crusades, this name appeared in European records as Gibelet and Giblet. This name was used for Byblos Castle and its associated lordship. The Phoenician city, known to the Greeks as Bblos () and to the Romans as Byblus, was important for their import of papyrus from Egypt. The English word "Bible", ultimately deriving from the Greek words bblos () and biblon(),

all Iris species, as well as some belonging to other closely related genera. A common name for some species is 'flags', while the plants of the subgenus Scorpiris are widely known as 'junos', particularly

    EZEKIEL 4:4

1 Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:

2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.

3 Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.

5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.

7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.

The day-year principle, year-day principle or year-for-a-day principle is a method of interpretation of Bible prophecy in which the word day in prophecy is considered to be symbolic of a year of actual time. It is used principally by the historicist school of prophetic interpretation.

It is held by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Jehovah's Witnesses, some Pentecostals and the Christadelphians. The day-year principle is also used by the Baha'i Faith, as well as in astrological prediction techniques, otherwise known as "primary directions

Keeping God's commandments is the safest place. His commandments keeps Israel from sin, no other nations. Not knowing Christ does not keep Israel in sin, Jesus Christ is Israel's Savior, He died so that Israel would be able to repent of their sins. Not keeping God's commandments is what keeps Israel on sin. Shalom

Irene, I think that some portray Ruth in that light, simply by the way she went about making herself known to Boaz. In the Deut. reference, the act appeared more lawful as the brother-in-law takes on the duty & responsibility to care for the widow & have his brother's name continue. Whereas in Ruth's case, even though Boaz was a near kinsman & had the right to marry her if he wished, her presence near him at night startled him, but he also knew the good intentions in her act. So, I agree with you, that Ruth shouldn't be seen in a bad light, but as an indicator to Boaz that she would like him to take on the responsibility of care.

Nyodee, Daniel 3:23-25, speaks of this incident. Nebuchadnezzar certainly had no intimate knowledge of the True God, however, he might have been conversant with who this God of Israel was. He would not have known of the Son of God (Jesus), but probably referred to the fourth person in the fire as someone that was very near to or a messenger of God. As we see in verse 28, that he attributed the help given to the three God-fearing men, to an angel. He may also not know about angels, but purely a term used as a helper sent by God to His people.

Monica, you said that you've just started reading the Bible. Wonderful! Though, I hope you have first been going through the other books, particularly the Gospels, Genesis, the Psalms, and the writings by the apostles of Jesus. If you're tackling Ecclesiastes as one of your first books, it will be 'heavy going'.

The writing of Ecclesiastes has generally been ascribed to Solomon, who was renowned for his wisdom in his position as King of Israel. The whole gist of the book was his very literal look at life as we see it at 'ground level'. Matters such as life's seemingly aimless cycles & unexplainable paradoxes, may cause us to conclude that all is futile since there is no purpose in the order of events. However, life is to be enjoyed in its fullest as a gift from God; and the wise person will live his life in obedience to God, recognizing that one day God will judge all men.

So, I write the above, just to give you a quick outline of the book & Solomon's understanding of life, so I hope it helps you. In the reference to 7:15: Solomon looks at another of life's unexplainable facts: "life appears so meaningless & vain, when one considers a good person's life can see an early end in spite of his righteous living, whereas the evil person's life is extended in spite of his bad lifestyle". And this is a question asked by many: why do the righteous suffer & the wicked get away with it?

Looking at it from an earthly & limited perspective, that is a valid question; so often the wicked prosper & the good person receives evil - it happens all the time. Remembering that Solomon is writing purely from a humanistic viewpoint, we can then appreciate his correct & spiritual perspective. He intersperses his book with reminders that God is still in control & seeks our attention. Probably, Solomon's concluding verses (12:13,14) highlight one's true response to the futility of life: fear God, keep His commands, await His Judgement. Now we have Jesus Christ, our Hope & Life.

But beyond this, its important to have Christ consciousness. Know who you are, your rights and place as a christian. As for me, the virus is not a factor because my body is the temple of the Holyghost, and the Holyghost cannot share or cohabit with corona or any sickness. Consistent declaration of the word of God concerning your body is the highest drugs there is.
