Hello Cdollar2. In principle, I feel that in the situation you shared, it would be very proper and Christ-like to forgive your friend this debt he owes you. You can look at a couple of Scriptures where Jesus speaks in parables about forgiving another's debt: Matthew 18:23-35 and Luke 7:41-43. These situations are different to yours, but the principle of forgiving is evident.

However, to add to this and could be helpful: you would know whether this matter with your friend is a one-off difficulty that he is in and that he has been known not to take advantage of you (or others) in such matters. If so, then you would do well to cancel the debt. In some cases though, it can be useful to the one in debt to help him learn responsibility for borrowing & paying back the debt.

Just a personal example: while ministering in a small town in remote North India, a poor man who was employed at the Christian hospital as a peon approached me for some money to pay off an immediate debt to another person. It was only a small amount to me (Rupees 100, or a couple of bucks for us), but it meant that he could clear the debt and have food on the table for his family. I lent him the money and he promised to pay it back at the end of the month from his meagre salary. I agreed to that and at the month's end, he promptly approached me with joy on his face that he could now repay the debt to me. I took the money with thanks and said to him, 'because you have been honest in this small matter, revealing his genuineness & responsible nature, I now give this Rupees 100 back to you as a gift, in the Name of Jesus Christ.' Of course, he was thankful for this unexpected gift and it would align with the Gospel he heard from our resident evangelist who ministered to him and others (Hindus and Muslims) of God's saving Love & Grace. Maybe he witnessed a little of Christian love & concern in action. May your forgiving your friend's debt also convey a loving message to his heart. Blessings.

Dear sisters and brothers in Christ.

2025 years ago God in Heaven decided to come down to our world. So He took the human flesh, He was born between animals, lived like a poor man. He breathed our air, He walked on our soil, He ate our foods, drunk our drinks, slept on our beds. He looked directly at our eyes, He talked to us, loughed together with us, cried together with us, He touched us with His own hands, huged us, shared with us every struggle an ordinary man goes through in this life. And finally He let us kill Him with a horrible death.

What a privilidge that was for humanity. And what an extraordinary thing that was for God. It was the first time in His eternal existence that He saw the world through our own eyes.

The Almighty God who created this endless universe with just His Word and whom the cherubs and angels hide their faces from in His presence because of the awe and respect they feel, left His palaces and unimaginable glory in Heaven and came down to our world and let us crucify Him between two criminals, not considering at all the shame.

Why did He did that? Because He loved us so much. Because He fell in love with us. And He paid the consequences of His love for us all the way to the end.

Let us then go on in this life holding the Hand of Love of His. He will never give up on us. He will never let us down. He will never let us walk alone. He will do everything to get us to His World to live with Him happy for ever. This is what He wants. This is what He strives for.

The choise and decision is on us. Let's select then the right choice and walk together with Him all the way to the end.

    Blessings to all.

    Annotated Gen.4.25.26 "Another seed"

"For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed " This seed is not to clubbed with thy seed. God did not curse Adam. Instead "cursed is the ground for thy sake' explains the distinction between the first Adam and the last Adam. God set apart the first fruits, the saints redeemed from the earth, and also in order to establish the intent of His will is inviolate, they carry the name of the Father. Seth carries a name given by his mother and it is another seed thus fulfilling the word of God. "for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch." The last Adam is the lord from heaven. (Ze.3.8)

The name Eden from which the river begins is also the river of time and Jesus Christ the word become flesh offered all," If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink./ He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water./ (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)" Jn 7.37-39) What is the last Adam who is the quickening spirit. Those who believed and received them shall be added to the church of the first born. Thus without holding these two worlds of the Spirit and of the body imposter churches are sinking in their own mire.

v.26 "Then began men to call upon the name of the Lord."

So what does then' indicate? The day God decreed, "Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.' The holy Jerusalem refers to the church being prepared in heavenly places. (Heb.12. 22-23) Which are written in heaven also brings in the night vision of Daniel, "the judgment was set, and the books books were opened. (Dan.7.10)

"But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,/To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all,"

    Annotated Gen.4.18-24 "Pride"

v.24 "If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold."

The Holy Spirit is presenting two sets of genealogies one towards light. and the other to the outer darkness. The Law of the Spirit presents seven generations each under a descendant of Cain. Thus we have Enoch Irad Mehujael, Methusael and Lamech. Jabal and Jubal.

Of our particular interest is Lamech he is the double for Jacob who also had two wives. Lamech displays the truth what sin conceives is often far worse than that Cain could have imagined. Pride of Lamech was the very DNA of Lucifer. He assumes himself after slaying a man that he shall be avenged seventy and sevenfold. He assumes the role of God himself. Hate brought Cain down while the same pride that Lamech displays shall blindside man, mystery of iniquity was set rolling by Cain, leading to the beast blighted by pride, "And that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;/Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."(2 Thess.2.3-4) Seventy and sevenfold refers to the end times.

19 And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.

21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.

    Annotated Gen.4.16-17 "The city"

And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Nod is a name given by the Law of the Spirit so one may certain it was Darkness and at the far end darkness that dwelt there is called outer darkness. In the parables of Jesus we have the far country. "There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country." Hedging the vineyard is in the same sense as God secured the world of Job. Faith with which God framed the worlds by his word is same as the tares denote another world altogether.

There are two mountains to denote the Father Son relationship. Mount Zion sets the north while Eden is set on mount Sion. The sanctified ones, every 144,000 bear the name of their Father and the Covenant of seven days refer to the blessed and the rest of God. The garden is set on the east and man and woman are sent out to till the ground, from whence they are taken; now Eden is once again referred to the direction farther than his parents ever went. The land of Nod where vagabonds away from the presence of God shall settle down. In our times digital nomads have come of age. So is the dark web. Who are they. sons of perdition of course. So Satan creates a cover for them. New normal is one such. There is no room for the word in their hearts. "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil./Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." Either or. Whole or nothing.

17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

    Annotated Gen.4 15-17 Seven fold

"vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold"

Significance of this preceding the mark is similar to the counsel of God, "If thou doest well."Having wasted that timely advice it is the Law of the Spirit to take over. Who was Cain? He was the double for king Ahab. " But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord," ( 1 Kgs 21.25) Seeing a touch of remorse in him God tells Elijah as to what He shall do. "Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house."(vv.27-29) Seven fold refers to his progeny and we see several instances of it in the narrative. "And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear."(4.13) Cain's confession similarly was noted.

God's vengeance is how the Law of the Spirit shall execute sevenfold before the Law of Moses was given. Sevenn is a whole number. "And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,"( Lk.8.2) So seven unclean spirits sets demonic possession in terms of Cain who was under the curse. In the case of the nation of Israel the law of sin and death bears the tag of 10 the number of condemnation. "An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever."(Deut.23.3)

In Gen.1.2 we have two sets where the generations under the cover where darkness rules, seven-fold is a period of remission. He may still be saved. They may be healed of their blindness and see.

And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

    Annotated Gen.4.14-15 "Mark of Cain"

"and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me."

Cain as a murderer is the wicked one. God breathed into the nostrils of man with the breath of life. In depriving man of his privileges that breath of life, he was denying God and also man. Only darkness awaited as his cover. Since deprived of the Law of the Spirit what God did in his mercy was to set a mark on him. Similar to what the first fruits testified:"and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads". This is repeated,"and his name shall be in their foreheads."(Rev.14.1;22.4). His gifts and calling are irrevocable.

"And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

We shall hazard what the mark would signify. "He is one of your kind." It is what Jesus referred,"f ye were of the world, the world would love his own:"( Jn 15.19) " And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations."( Lk. 16.9)

Good question, and thank you for the respectful tone. From a Mid-Acts dispensational view, the tension dissolves once we keep Israel's kingdom program distinct from the Body of Christ. In the Lord's earthly ministry and early Acts, the Twelve were sent to Israel with a priestly commission: preach the kingdom, call the nation to repent, and baptize the believing remnant ( Matt 28:19; Mark 16:15-18; Acts 2:38; 3:19-21). Water baptism there was covenantal identification and preparation for a promised priestly nation ( Exod 19:5-6), accompanied by signs ( Mark 16:17-18) seen functioning in Acts ( Acts 5:12-16).

But when Israel continued in unbelief, Christ revealed to Paul "the dispensation of the grace of God" and the previously hidden "mystery" ( Eph 3:1-9; Col 1:25-27). In this present dispensation, we are now saved by the gospel of Christ's cross and resurrection alone ( 1 Cor 15:1-4; Rom 3:24-28; 4:5; Eph 2:8-9). Entrance is by one Spirit baptizing us into one Body ( 1 Cor 12:13), hence Paul can say there is "one baptism" ( Eph 4:5) and also, strikingly "Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel" ( 1 Cor 1:17).

What of the Lord's commands in Matthew and John? They stand true for the audience addressed. Matthew 5:18 affirms the Law's authority until all is fulfilled; Christ is its end for righteousness to everyone that believes ( Rom 10:4) and the Body is not under the Law ( Rom 6:14). John 14-15 speaks to kingdom disciples under the New Covenant promises to Israel ( Jer 31:31-34), about abiding in the Vine and keeping His commandments in that program.

Luke 18:17 highlights the posture of faith, not a ritual that secures salvation. Therefore, today water baptism is a good testimony, but it does not add to the finished cross-work nor effect salvation. The saving baptism in this age is the Spirit's, placing us in Christ the moment we believe.

    Grace and Peace.

    Hi Gerald.

I believe you're right in that we must be born again but I don't believe that's to become "made in the image of God.

I believe that's to become "son's of God"

I believe man being made in the image of God speaks of man made as a triune being.

In Genesis 1:26 God said, Let us make man in our image, AFTER OUR LIKENESS.

Adam and Eve was created in the image of God and I believe Gentiles 9:6 suggests that image and likeness was and is inherited in the Son's of Adam, which we are!

We have to be born again to become son's of God. John 1:12.

Even here the word "son" is not a direct "Son" of God used for Adam and the Angels in the original language.

    Blessings.

    Hello Richard,

"That's the way I see it anyway." You will be on a surer ground if your faith is on the sure foundation of faith. God is holy who has no such maybe but or ifs as you have been carrying on for long in these posts. God is firmly in control and his Son is whom all his fulness dwells shall deal with it. May be Calvin has muddled many minds and there are other doctrines of men all have set believers in the way of Cain. I simply wanted to point you seem to be not certain, and leave whatever it is, to the Lord. I am not writing this to carry on a debate but a brotherly advice,

On a parting note let me suggest kiwi is found to be excellent for constipation if that is your problem. Since spiritual problemm is between God and ye, I pass on a new info as a brotherly token of being use.

    Annotated Gen.4.12-15

"A fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth."

A vagabond is a varant, having no settled place to call as home. Jesus had no place to rest in this world that is where generations of wickedness place their trust. Foxes have holes refer to the natural world but Jesus as last Adam is the lord from heaven. Unless you take both worlds of the Spirit and of the body you are sure to err and at every turn, mind you. For example 'Man was created in the image of God but not ALL men . For while Adam was created in the image of God ALL are BORN in the image of Adam " shapen in iniquity." Without setting this quote from bro. Gerald in context of the Covenant everlasting, it is an error. God separated as many as were foreknown on mount Sion (Rev.14.1), they are virgins for that matter. There is also 'And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."( Acts 2.47), They are part of the determined will of God so they are created 'in our image and after our likeness.' On the other hand the sons of Adam are those 'in his own likeness, and after his image.'(Gen.5.3) Exception is Cain who as a vagabond is the son of perdition.'The wicked one' ( 1 JN 3.12)

He is a vagabond and a fugitive is one "Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them. ( Amos 9.2) Simon the sorcerer is yet another. " Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.' Still he was among the believers.(Acts.8.20-23) "Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core./ These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead,,:(Jude vv10-13) Scava's seven sons are another example, Vagabond Jews.

    Annotated Gen.4.11 "Curse"

"And now art thou cursed from the earth,"

God framed the worlds by faith. Our heart is a spiritual space, framed by the word so Satan would accuse God giving Job an undue advantage. " Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?"( Job 1.10) From this blessing is the whole world where the man holds a volume and both heaven and earth meet in him. This is what the Spirit has presented from the outset. Instead, the imposter churches setting blessings with Abraham have thrown the marrow of divine Will and made his Son, more cut outs than real. After our image and after our likeness render the true Vine after our likeness' For example the sign 'Abiding in me' explain the incorruptible seed sown in the heart and branches producing fruits. This is what God provided for a believer under day Three. Darkness is absence of light. So God's curse sets Cain outside His presence. A fugitive and a vagabond.

In the world of the Spirit the serpent walked as the unclean spirit does in the Parable, "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places,"(Mt.12.43) Similarly he led Eve to the tree beguiling her all the way. God cursed the serpent and his seed." Upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life." The ground cursed for thy sake now bring Adam's firstborn to face the consequences of his disobedience. So how shall the seed of Cain fare in their own generation. Wicked and adulterous generation in our time is same, with seven other spirits meaning the same Law of the Word applies. Either blessed or accursed. Whole or Nothing. In our time man who usurps into the high office has to bamboozle the nation. He conducts himself as a serpent groveling upon his belly. "America first" sounds great.Once he has had his wishes, his policies are, "Me first" And also behaves likewise. Boats in international waters are blasted kingdom come on doubt. Bah!

Annotated Gen.4.10-12 The voice of thy brother"

"And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground."

Jesus in his "woe to ye" discourse presented the voice of his brethren crying similarly for justice, "hat upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar./ Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation."(Mt.23.35-36). God sends Cain off knowing he belonged to to the generation of the wicked, under the cover of darkness mentioned in Gen.1.2) Abel belonged to the generation of his Son so how how do we know for certain? His faith of course. In the day of judgment. James speak of the day of slaughter,"ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter." and in the coming of the Lord faith shall call up witnesses," (Jas.5.3-8) Faith is pure language and it speaks as deep unto deep. Those who disregard the world of the Spirit and think prosperity theology shall save them are know-nothings. Their kingdom-building in the latter days a chimera. " By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh."(Heb.11.4)

Perhaps the wailing and gnashing of teeth in the outer darkness explain due justice to the wicked. " For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities./ Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double."(Rev.18.5-6)

    11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;

12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

    Saying prayers and praying .

While we might as children 'say our prayers ' it would be far better to teach our children to pray .

What is often called the Lords prayer is not something to be repeated endlessly but rather is intended as a patter of HOW to pray the order we shouid afopt in our praying "thy kingdom come thy will be done." Our aproach to God in our praying .

For one thing it is " OUR Father .." not so much my father . There is not only the wonder and pri lodge if calling God Fatyer but the Lord Himself had the same aproach and the same relationship .

There is also the thought that our praying is not all about me me me . But with the recognising of the fact we are part of the Body of Christ and weep with them who weep and rejoice with them who rejoice etc.

It couid even be argued that even as in the Old Testament on,y one person went into these most Holy place of the presence of God today only One goes in also but now it is the " that they may be one even as We are one" of John 17 .

There is the praying with the understanding ,but there is also the praying in the Spirit.?

There is the " groaning that cannot be uttered" There is the travailing in prayer ,the agonising in prayer ,the labouring as in child birth in prayer . Intercession there is " in all prayer and sup.ication."

Some have set prayers which are repeated but to what purpose?

For we are talking to the living God not one who has ears but cannot hear ,eyes but cannot see and if It is written that " Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God" we do not expect then for God to repeat himself as infinitum .Nor do we talk to people always saying the same things .

But they that oray must believe not only that God is but is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Someone might argue that Jesus repeated Homself in gethsemane . So He did but we do not know what else he said " with strong cries and tears" and not just in a few mins .

    Annotated Gen.4.7-10 "Rule over him"

"And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him."

The Spirit spells out drkness as a dog and they seek a way to entangle the householder. A fitting commentary is on the evil spirit that gained entry in desolate places, which signify hearts. "But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him."(1 Sam.16.14). First we shall take up the case of Cain who was driven out from the presence of God ('from thy face shall I be hid'). How it fared in the old world?

God drove out man and woman from the garden of Eden, just as his Son cleared the temple, " And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up." When challenged he gave them a sign "Jesus answered and said unto the Jews, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."( Jn 2. 17,19,21) It is thus God has made the heart 'after our likeness' so what does the risen Christ at the door indicate? The risen Christ supping with a believer that the temple which is his body shall be raised up. Three is a tag for the Son. Consequently there is no place for other things in your heart than the zeal for your house which is mount Sion, 'and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem' which is above.

We have come "And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel"(Heb.12.23-24) As we are in Christ, a new creation the everlasting covenant is also new. The perfect will of the Father is unchanged.

God counsels Cain but to no avail. Having slain he is sent away. In the manner the old world was repe for destruction we may well remeber the parable of the unclean spirit Mt.12.43-45 "Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation

We have often a careless aproach to the scriptures and are loose with them when we speak .

One of which is ' we are all made in Gods image' . Er no or rather it's a mix of truth with error .

Now yiu can mix a donkey with a horse and get a mule but a mule has no life in it to reproduce itself and if yiu want another mule you need another horse and donkey .

So likewise if we mix truth with error . We will get ' something' but it has no life in it to reproduce itself .

Man was created in the image of God but not ALL men . For while Adam was created in the image of God ALL are BORN in the image of Adam " shapen in iniquity"

Which is why we " Must be born again" not of corruptible seed" which is of the first Adam but of the incorriotable seed which is of the last Adam .

For the law of God states that " every seed brings forth fruit after its own kind" .

Thus a corruptible seed by that law can only bring forth corruption unto death . But glory to God that law also applies to the incorriotable seed which will bring forth righteousness unto life.

Jesus speaking of Himself said " Unless a seed of wheat fall into the ground and die it abudeth alone but if it does it brings forth much fruit" what sort of fruit? After its own kind .

When my son was born I saw my image in him. He bore my image because he came from me I was his father. If I had not been his Fatyer hecwouid not have born my image but the image of his true father and I wouid have rejected him as my son.

If a man stands before God then finds himself in hell . It will not be because they have sinned so much ( for all have sinned) but because the image if God was not found in him .

For all thrur luves they said in their heart " No God" and rejected Jesus Christ who was and is "the express image of the invisible God" .

In John 17 which is truly the Lords prayer he said " I pray not fir the world"

We can pray for all who will come and have , but we can't pray for all . No one has faith for that fir there is no ground for thinking that all will be saved .

It would be clearer if a distinction was made between the tribulation that all saints in all times have had to endure even from Abel . And the " Great tribulation " which if God did not shorten the ( number) days no one would be saved "

There is also a great misunderstanding as to the character ,nature and disposition of the Bride of Christ .

Based upon one(?) verse " the church which is His bride" .

But the root teaching of the Bride as always is fiund right at the beginning of things.

For Adam was created from the dust of the earth but Eve was created from the body of the Man .

So likewise of the " last Adam" though not created but born of a Woman who's bride is taken also from the midst of his body .

Even as Joseph was already married when he revealed himself the second time to his brethren as also Moses .

Out of the twelve tribes who's inheritance was on the earth you had Levi who had no such inheritence for "God was theur inheritance". Even as you had the twelve Apostles but from them yiu had Peter James and John who saw and did things the others did not . A body out if a body .

So also the Bride of Christ .

It is the " high calling" of every true born child of God . For all are so called .

It is like the Olympics where to run the race as opposed to being a spectator . You must be qualified ." You must be born again" qualifies us to run the race but it does not automatically " win us the prize ".

The five foolish virgins thought that but were found not ready and were barred from the " marriage" with the words " I know you not" . The wicked are barred from the Kingdom with the words " I never knew you".

Wait patiently? Perhaps but it also speaks of " looking for and hastening to".

In this world "you will have tribulation " The common lot of all true sons of God .

But the " great tribulation" is of a different order and of such a character that if God did not shorten the days ( number) no one would be saved " .

That time is of the antichrist , and all the rest as foreseen and recorded as a testimony to the world .

But the bride of Christ will be gone in what us commonly calked the rapture but is more akin to Enochs " translation" . That is from one thing to another .

For the Lord is first coming FOR His bride "to them that look for Him." Who have got themselves ready .

The 5 wise virgins who entered into the " marriage" unlike the 5 foolish who are barred from it as unrecognisable as the Bride ." I know you not" as opposed to the wicked who are barred from the kingdom " I never knew you".

It is like unto the days of Noah where you had Enoch who was translated before the outpouring of Gods wrath upon the earth and Noah who was saved through it .

As also in the days of Lot . You have Abraham who walked by faith and Lot who walked by sight yet was still counted righteous .

And so " suffered loss as through fire" saving his soul but losing everything else .

The Lord will come For His bride who will "meet Him in the air".

Then later will come WITH His bride to the earth .

    Just pointers .

Cain and his offering is the root of all false religion and in effect the fruitful the " seed of the serpent" .

In offering the fruit of the field he was offering the work of his own hands and by the " sweat of his brow" the fruit of the field and something God had already cursed .

By his offering he was trying to establish his own righteousness and thus denied Gods and sought then his own glory .

Abel offered a sacrificed lamb thus followed the pattern God had laid down in the garden for a " covering" .

Is it not written " Love covers a multitude of sins"? And foreshadowed the animal sacrifices laid down by God through Moses .

Abel by his offering was confessing his sin acknowledging the righteousness of God and showed that his faith was not in his own 'good' works but in the promised "Lamb of God who would take away the Sin of the world " and would bruise "the sevenths head " who would be born of a woman thus fully man but not of Adams seed .

No wonder his offering was respected .

And throughout history it has always been Cain that has risen up and slew Abel while in a deceitful dialogue ( peace talks?)

Canines rejecting of the blood sacrifice also is why he found no place of repentance for if you reject the blood how can you be forgiven?

If we say we have no sin the truth is not in us ,but if we confess our sin then God is faithful and JUST to forgive us our sin and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness "

Footnote: Is it not written we come to the blood that speaks of better things than the blood of Abel"?

For his blood spoke of the law broken and recompense and judgement .

The blood of Christ speaks of sin already judged , reconciliation and peace with God .
