Hi Kevin; Jesus is called the Son of God because He was divinely implanted in the womb of the virgin, when the Power of the Highest overshadowed her. Jesus is also called the Son of man because He came in the flesh. And His name shall be called, Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace; King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and ther Judge of all the earth.
  • A disciple on Matthew 17 - 8 years ago
The disciples were first called Christians because they were of Christ, and were like Christ. They took every word He said as the absolute Rule for every aspect of their character and conduct. In this chapter we can much from what Jesus said and did. 1. There is an appropriate time for telling others the vision you have received. 2. Belief and holy trustworthiness go together. 3. Honor Authority.

Steve; I'm still not understanding; do you have something you want to say? Are you accusing me of all those things? You know that Proverb about a word FITLY SPOKEN? Tell me specifically what you think I write that's NOT of His Spirit, or that I speak out of my own mind. Give me ONE! You do not offend me but in part. But if what I write IS according to the Spirit's teaching, then why the hostility?
  • Ann on John 1 - 8 years ago
The Son of man is our LORD Jesus Christ, when he dwelt on earth. Son of man is mentioned 196 times in the pure KJV bible. Here are a couple of scriptures to read. Luke 22:69 - Luke 24:7
  • Sharon Robinson on Deuteronomy 28 - 8 years ago
Deuteronomy 28 is the Chapter that tells us if the blessings and curses that will be upon us when we obey it disobey the laws and commandments of God.

matt 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

fornication is not a good reason for divorce, and doesn't ok divorce and remarriage of another person. it was given for the hard hearted.
CHRISTIANS ARE NOT THE HARD HEARTED.

servant (cont.) when men get right with God, they will also necessarily be right with one another. Israel which is in disobedience because of their unbelief, is trying to climb up over the wall and get into the kingdom "some other way" than God's. Islam is completely heathen antichrist made up by a murderer and a pedophile. When Christians are in obedience to the Word and the Spirit they agree!
  • A disciple on Luke 10 - 8 years ago
servant; Jesus Christ the Son of God who was with the Father from everlasting to everlasting; came down from heaven and was manifest to the world in the flesh to fulfill the Word from the beginning of God's Anointed breaking the serpent's head, and therewith taking away the sin of the world by His own bruising; rising again from dead the third day, a confirmation from God that JESUS is the Judge!
  • A disciple on Genesis 33 - 8 years ago
Romans 9:13 "Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated." The Election of God is a stumbling block to the proud men of the world who oppose and reject the Testimony of Jesus Christ. Beginning with Cain, this has been the flashpoint of the heathen's rage, and all their ideology to deny the Saviour and take away the knowledge of the truth from the minds of men. Jacob held the Calling of God sacred!
  • Kevin on John 1 - 8 years ago
John 1:51 If Jesus is the Son of God then who is the Son of man?
  • Kevin on John 2 - 8 years ago
John 2:19 Since Jesus is talking about Himself, is He telling the Jews to destroy Him or did He mean "should I be destroyed"?
  • Maria Hernandez on Genesis 19 - 8 years ago
I believe that it speaks to all The Christens Hearts
  • Servant of God on Luke 10 - 8 years ago
Who is this guy who came to earth and changed the paradigm of the world of religion. Even today, our beliefs are so diverse and contentious that we are willing to war over discrepancies, between Christians, Muslims, Jews. Oh Israel, who has heard from the Father himself in olden times and the prophets through out time, where are we as a nation of people, squabbling daily, at each others throats?
  • Olayinka on Psalms 23 - 8 years ago
Psalm 23 gave me assurance that God is always with me no matter the situation; He will always be present to handle the situation. Mine is to fully put my trust in him.

Freda (cont.) When we become immersed in the Scriptures, and want to really have that kind of heart worthy of our Lord and our God who so loved us and gave Himself for us; we start to feel how dead and unfeeling our hearts seem to be; and wish God would do something to make us different men (or women). Can we drink of His cup, and be baptized with His baptism? The Lord fulfill all thy petitions!
  • A disciple on Psalms 51 - 8 years ago
Dear Freda; How do you want to receive this broken heart? and what do you think will best work to give you a contrite spirit? In David's experience, like many of us since then; it was ugly terrible foul sinning without a cause against a good a wonderfully generous God; and the bitter tears of repentance. The troubled part of our life afterwards is filled with treachery and betrayal and sorrow.

Steve M; Do I know who keeps erasing Scripture as if it doesn't exist?
  • A disciple on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
Hello Maggie; On saying that God puts us in situations; we should be careful! Jesus said that we will have tribulation and toil and sorrow in this life, but we should be of good courage because He has overcome the world. God tempts no one; but we are all tempted when we are drawn away by our own lusts and enticed. If we cave in to those temptations, it is sin! We are also in a world out of course!
  • Janiebird on Psalms 29 - 8 years ago
I love all of the Psalms. When i read them i feel closer to my Lord God Almighty ! 💝🐦💝

Anti-NWO; You say it quite accurately! With the advent of Rabbinic Judaism about 150 years (?) before; by the time John the Baptist began preaching and announcing the coming of the Saviour; it was a Country filled with Synagogues, zealots and sects; run by an extremely rich and powerful elite class, who were entrenched in a self-made system completely alienated and hostile to the Spirit of Christ.
  • A disciple on Genesis 33 - 8 years ago
Lee; I understand how one might look at Jacob in that way. From a certain perspective many things about God's dealings between His Saints and the heathen are offensive to those who don't want to submit to God's Supreme Authority. God knows the hearts of all men, and He judged Esau as hateful and hostile to the things of Christ and therefore unfit for the blessing! That's the part the heathen hate!
  • Maggie K Parker on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
I think this was a test of the younger generation of Israel, to test their faith and to only rely on God for their deliverance and freedom. Trust him at his word and obey him and give him all the praise and worship and honor belong to him, and know that he can do just what he said he would do, I am in a situation now, I called out to get help, lost my job my grandchildren just wait on him
  • Maggie Parker on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
I think it is a real test of the faith: of the new generation of Israel , sometimes God puts us in uncomfortable positions to test is to see if we trust totally in him, his word says the fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. God is are only help in any situation, have faith in God as Abraham did was willing to slay his son for God in we trust.
  • A disciple on Nehemiah 6 - 8 years ago
A great work of building the wall was moving ahead and almost finished, because God was behind it! Right in step with the prosperity and progress of the righteous; the devil and his sons are working feverishly with deep conspiracy and many traitors on every side; SEEKING TO PUT US IN FEAR THAT THE WORK MIGHT CEASE! What an important thing for all of us to understand about this present time!
  • Jim on Romans 4 - 8 years ago
Romans tells us the KNOW so salvation (I know I am saved by believing) and in the book of James tells us the SHOW so salvation (I will show you I am saved by my works)
