When you are employed to sin your pay check is death. The soul that sinneth shall surely die, not maybey, will die whatsoever a man sow he shall reap.Whether it's sin or righteousness Romans says shall we continue in sin that grace may abound, God said no, but if you sow unto righteousness ye shall live, Jesus said blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.

I think that 2 Corinthians is telling us that we need to work for God all the time and to work as we are working for Him on our jobs and at home. And that we will be Judge for what we do and what we don't do.

We should let free our mind, "when the Lord turn again the captivity" we are already saved by the blood of Jesus by God's grace. Our faith is not enough to see the great work of salvation. Is a great joy. Peace of mind. Assurance of life.......

verses 42-45, contrast these with Acts 6:2. The twelve really messed up here. 1) "In the beginning" means in the beginning. This is clear. So God created the heaven/earth having no form/void (empty) covered with water and dark in the beginning. He could have spoke everything into existance in a word but he choose to start with a canvas (a process). (Why He choose a "process" is open for discussion). But He choose a process that only took 6 literal days!

Verse 34:14 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law." I have read a modern translation saying "silent during church meetings". Does this mean the worship service or what? As a woman who has been called by God to evangelize preach, this verse has always offered me some confusion.

This is a timely chapter for the days that we live in. The church is being pressured to accept blatant disregard for God's word by watered down truths, and is being infiltrated by false teachers of God's word. Homosexuality not only is accepted by some churches it is somehow preached to be acceptable! I've not seen this taught first hand but I pray for those who are snared by this spirit.

U known sometime God will send a word and if there is one in the church who understands the word that was spoken in tongue then that person is to tell the people what God is saying. we know that tongues shall cease but we must remember to love one another the bible say if we speak in tongue and do not have love we are nothing u see God is love that why he sent his son to die for us love Amen

I believe the only way to have wisdom and understand is to have faith and trust in our Savior Jesus Christ. In this Chapter of Job tells this plain and clear. No matter what Satan did to Job he never blame God for any of it. It show us no matter what Satan does to us we can always trust Jesus. In vs. 14 and 20 Ap. Paul talks about MAN-MADE rules/ordinances, not the Ten Commandments or any other moral law given to man by GOD. He explains that in vs. 18 and 21 thru 23. To walk in Christ, vs. 6, means to follow Him closely and obey His Laws: not to continue to live in sin. The idea that Christ died so we can trample His Laws under foot, and eat unclean meats, is wrong. See Isa. 65:4, 66:17

This is a reminder to all the children of God to be careful of the life we live on this sinful world because coming out from captive is not easy if not by not by his grace.

A Nazarite is a real man or woman Israelite. The most famous Nazarite was Samson. Starting with Judges chapter 13; the story of Samson.

(finally) If the Lord has seen that there's no more reason to send His servants to speak with people, nor anything else He can do to persuade them to repent; then the time has run out, and we have to let God finish the matter. God has called us to be His ambassadors of peace until its no longer possible to make peace.

Some people's hearts are so beaten down past feeling by sinning, the Word cannot ever penetrate. Some refuse to do the work to prepare their heart for the Word to enter in a meaningful way. Some foolishly think they can be all in the world and like the world.

2) vv 1-5 is one 24 hour period. "In the beginning...the evening and the morning were the first day." Moses (likely the author) chose his words carefully. We all understand "the evening and the morning" to be a 24 hour period or a day. vv 7-8 the second day, etc. (In fact, scripture makes the age of the earth very clear). The earth is young (literally only thousands of years old).

I'm joyous and thankful to read this verse today 9-4-17 La . I'd just finished having my regularly scheduled Morning Prayertime which was very powerful with God being in the midst moving mightily. Then I checked this website as usual to be blessed by the Verse of the Day. Wow, a verse about rejoicing, PERFECT way to end my Devotional Time! Now I'm going to pass this GREAT verse of scripture to me Mentees whom God has put under my charge to minister to , so they'll be able to rejoice in the Lord of their salvation. HALLELUJAH!
