Vickie, I used to be bothered about Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Couldn't figure it out in my head. Confused. One God. What in the world. Then reading the scriptures, it became clear to me how they could be together. Jesus says Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Jesus is the authority at this time. As Jesus said there are 3, he is the authority.v. 20 to do as we are commanded. We are to follow His commands

Sharon, don't give in to thinking of being lost to Christ. Talk to Jesus about all problems. He's always listening to hear you. In your specific problem, tell Him you need help and He has to help you. He's the one who has the power over sin. He Loves You! God Bless You.

RJ, read Romans 6th chapter. Sin shall not have dominion over you. HD has good scripture and 1 John 1, if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another. And the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. Talk to Jesus all day long in praise and worship and about that problem that would bring you down. God Bless You

People refer to verses 15-23 to try and excuse themselves of fault for their own sin, but ignore verse 22 where the Lord shows he is long-suffering towards those who are unbelieving and disobedient. Why then is He long-suffering? Because His Word states "Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways for why will ye die, O house of Israel?" -Ezekiel33:11 One of many verses in the Bible proving the Lord rather ALL to be saved. Nevertheless, God's patience and long-suffering towards the lost and unrepentant is not in vain if they do reject Him for He knew who would accept Him or not. If you choose to reject God's better ways for you and continue in your own... know that He has a purpose even for those who hate Him and either way He will be glorified and His will be done as it was with Pharaoh. Blessed be the King of Glory! For who can resist His just and perfect will?

Thank-you very much for the on-line bible. I have allergies and reading my bible makes it hard for me to breathe and I have to use my inhaler and take allergy meds. My reading experience with this bible is enjoyable and brings me closer to our Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God.

How everlastingly true is the word of God! In Numbers 33: 55, He warned the Israelites "...then it shall come to pass, that those which ye remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell." Today, this is happening in the Holy Land of Israel which is witnessing scanty peace.

One thing for sure is that the children of Isreal sinned against God time after time even wben he proved himself to them time after time. The most beautiful part of it is he gave them a chance to repent and to come on the Lords side. What a mighty God we serve.

V. 4; Rom.1:17 - I've read Hab. before, but just now saw this. When the ch. first began (Acts ch. 2) there was no N.T.; just the O.T., but the O.T. prophesied of Jesus - all of it. It wasn't until around 15 yrs, after the ch. began that the N.T. began being written. Everything that was taught was from the O.T. Everything Jesus taught was from the O.T.

This is actually the same thing the original King James says. flags is another word for reeds. Ark just means safe place to avoid extinction... similar to the ark of the covenant, and obviously Noah's Ark.

V.10; Haggai 2:3; Ezra 3:12 - When I came back to the church, and knew the former preacher had died, and heard the new preacher, I really liked the new, but - there was a yearning for the former. But I rebuked it in prayer and God has gotten me over that 'looking back'. I love the memories, but I need to ALWAYS be looking to God's new work toward His Kingdom.

Heb. 13:5 - "be content with such things as ye have, for He hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." For Him to never leave or forsake us - we need to be 'His' in the first place. Acts 2:37-38. "what must we do"? and then Peter told them. Hebrews was written AFTER the church began - to already saved saints. Everything after Acts was to already saved saints in churches.

If a man comes to me church and he is drunk, i will defend him and bring him in and god will change him. Not our place to judge when we all have dirt under the rug.

I believed this is one of the best psalms ever , because it covers almost everything when it comes to protection. I have been reading this psalm almost everyday and indeed I have seen the goodness of GOD. I love this psalm as I use it as a defending weapon.
One advise I would like to give , don't wait until you have issues before reading this psalm but at all times.

to Diriba, you're not alone in trying to understand Revelation, When JESUS spoke to his disciples, it was in parables. The imagery of these passages are, I believe, such a parable. The dragon, satan and his forces, manifested and opposing the LORD and his. The war in heaven mirrored on earth, the same war on earth an echo of that heavenly battle.
