Yes, please keep your eyes on Jesus, a lot of preachers are crazy, I know what you are talking about, keep the faith, and look unto Jesus he loves you, but we have an enemy and sometimes Satan works through preachers, sad but true.

Ex. 2: 5, when did it change from a basket made of reeds to a ark among the flags? Why are you changing what the KJV actually said? How many other verses have you changed and no one noticed ? You should be a shame to change Gods word like that . You should at least put a foot note to show what the original KJV said . I am very disappointed and will have to check now or use another site

Yes the Ten Commandments are in the New Testament as he should be today as Jesus said he did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill the law to show that no man can uphold the law and that's why we have to have him our savior it is impossible for a human being to uphold the Commandments of God and this is what he was trying to teach the people for they had Harden their hearts

Hello the way I understand it is in the scripture in the beginning was the word the Word was God the word was with God' and in the Book of John he points out that Jesus is the word so the Lord Jesus what's with the father from the beginning
  • Irene123 on Matthew 11 - 9 years ago
    V. 28 - Jesus is our 'sabbath' now - since Acts ch. 2. Not a 'day' - which was in the O.T. Jesus fulfilled the MORAL; not the ceremonial. Why do you think He allowed the temple and it's ceremonies to be to destroyed in 70 a.d. ..... ? Because He no longer honored those things; He no longer required them. Jesus' blood was shed for all.
  • Irene123 on Matthew 3 - 9 years ago
Jesus, as a baby, wasn't baptized because - NO babies are baptized in the Bible. A child has to be old enough to UNDERSTAND Acts 2:38. Peter said be baptized in the NAME of Jesus; Matt. 28:19 says the same thing - baptizing them in the NAME of; Jesus is the Father, and the son (flesh) and the Holy Ghost (Spirit). 1Tim. 3:16 - " ..... GOD was manifest (as the body of Jesus) in the flesh.

"Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that gives it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering." In another place it is written about if any Levite wishes to come and serve the LORD, he may come, and he shall be accepted and have equal part with all the others. The call of God is to those who are willing to come and we are accepted of Him by that.

For 23-28: When the LORD had Moses appoint Captains and Rulers out of each Tribe, it was to teach us to judge one another, and to rule with justness and compassion, and not seek to bring every offense to God for judgment: for when the matter was brought to God, it was expected that He would judge absolutely. The law was not made for oppressing anyone; but to teach us Christ's character of love.

Irene: but those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart---for out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, blasphemous: Matthew 15:18-19/Hearts desire to have, started a war that will not end! Heart change 2Corinthians
5:17/Washed Revelation1:5 / Called John 6:44 / You will be Baptized by The Holy Ghost Matthew 3:11, you will know!

  • Irene123 on Matthew 6 - 9 years ago
Vs. 16, 18 - "Lent"; these vs. say not to appear unto men to fast, but to do so secretly, unto our Father in heaven, and He shall reward thee openly. If 'lent' is observed, we are showing men that we are fasting. Because if one's church does lent then they all know each other is fasting. These 2 scriptures and Jesus' 40 days say nothing of this lent 'tradition' of men.

I personally have never been without even with no money in my pockets! This is the "GOD" we serve.
  • Irene123 on Psalms 4 - 9 years ago
Barbara - could you give the verses that show Lent?
  • Paul on 2 Peter 3 - 9 years ago
One thing to note is that verse 8 is not in the context of creation. It's simply pointing out that as Wayne said, God Is timeless, and a thousand years are not a significant length of time to him. Genesis 1 points out that the evening and the morning were the first day, the evening and the morning were the second day, etc.
  • Thomas 16 on Acts 4 - 9 years ago

Hi Lisa, I am praying for you immediately, but when you pray talk to your god in private as him to give you wisdom and try praying at least three times. and fast off something you love one to three days, so the enemy will flee from you and the most high can have the space in you to do his work, this is why this scripture says no man can serve two masters, stay strong. Love peace and happiness.

  • Martha on 1 Corinthians 11 - 9 years ago
@Bruce...the scripture you gave John 5:7 was well said but you didn't finish the scripture. You left out: "And these three are one"! Sounds like one God to me!
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

vs 14: "Backslider", better rendered, "hypocrite, deceiver, pretender", may say the right things to appear to be something he isn't, is ruled by the senses, therefore will reap what is truly inside produced by his own wicked imagination. The "good man", ie. the person ruled by the Holy Spirit, will bring forth the good things which his own imagination produces. Matt.12:35
  • Matt on Acts 10 - 9 years ago
The subject matter is about salvation for the Gentile races (6th day mankind and other non Israelites). Cornelius was an Italian; Peter was an Israelite. The unclean beasts/food symbolized the Gentile races, and the 4 cornered sheet meant all over the world. Anyone that believes on The Lord Jesus Christ is accepted by Him. That means even a Kenite can be saved, too, if they repent and believe.
