Gauta M. - I assume you are referring to the phrase, " ,,,,, neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land." The word "thereof" refers back to the blemished animals.
  • Irene123 on Leviticus 21 - 9 years ago
Jesus 'bloodline' - Our salvation does not depend on a pure, sinless bloodline; i.e., Rahab of Jericho was in Jesus bloodline and Ruth, who was of the Moabites, and SOLOMON!! He ended up sacrificing his own children to Molech. Yet He is mentioned in the line of Jesus. Jesus didn't come to save the righteous ....................

Peggy, in accordance with Irene, 1 James 1:5-6, states we are to ask wisdom of God, where we lack, and He will not refuse us nor make fun of our lack of understanding. I have done this at times I did not understand, and He gave me the answers. Not always right away, but we are to insist and persist. He Loves Us!

Carmen, 1 Timothy 2:5-6, states There is ONE MEDIATOR between God and men,The Man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Each sinner needs to confess their sins and sinfulness to Christ alone. He is our open door to the Heavenly Father.

God, simply put, does not dwell in "time". Time, and spans of time, are for us on this earth. God is timeless, having neither beginning nor ending. Timeless. As stated in the word of God. We must think in the spiritual, not the physical.

    For Patsy
God commanded Adam not to eat it. Eve was not yet formed. Gen. 2:16-24 will help you understand it better.
  • A disciple on Exodus 20 - 9 years ago
We cannot come to God without His guidance and direction and protection; for we would perish instantly in His presence. From the beginning, the word of our redemption and salvation was uttered by God and it is all under His authority that we even be allowed to live. The commandments are for us to learn from Him, to seek His nature as our example, to become like Him; because that's why we are made.
  • Mccalla Shanda on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
Greetings in the precious name of Jesus ,indeed the word of god in psalm91 are words to encourage our heart and to build our confidence in God knowing that he is a present help in time of trouble and that he is able to do all things.
  • A disciple on Genesis 4 - 9 years ago
    1. God made Eve for Adam; therefore the woman was the man's responsibility. The commandment to the man then is also to all that is under the man. 2. The children of Israel HAVE NOT been "studying" for thousands of years; but DEFYING, AND DISOBEYING! Do not suggest that anyone go to those who are in disobedience, for spiritual guidance! They have been blinded to knowledge by God till they repent.
  • A disciple on 2 Peter 1 - 9 years ago
"ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN TO LIFE AND PIETY...THAT YOU MIGHT BE PARTAKERS OF DIVINE NATURE." NOT for comfort or support of the necessities of the flesh; but for our sanctification in the Spirit, to grow into the image and likeness of God's character; which is our assurance not to stumble; and of our finally being accepted and welcomed into the kingdom of God.

Clyde: I don't believe Satan was a prisoner in heaven. I assume he could go wherever you wanted and do what he wanted, apparently he did! Isaiah 14:1-20 is talking about a king, he thought he was better than anybody, his name Lucifer. If Lucifer was the name of Satan why was it never used again? only one time is it used, the name of the king. Read the Scriptures slowly and look in concordance.

Ed:(NO) it's their-our own dark hearts! From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members. James 4:1 / I assume Abraham and his two sons may have helped a little. Galatians 4:22-31 / washed:Revelation1:5.
  • Bruce on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
Jean: in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. It says nothing about time, when did time start? A Million years could have passed before the clock started. It's not really that important only where you spend eternity. Adding to His Word is very dangerous and habit-forming.Do not add or take away:Revelation22:18-19 / Revelation 1:5 / Revelation20:15.

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. There is nothing we can do without God's help even though some of us don't recognize it. It is he who gives us strength to work to get money to build what we have. It is who who provides every single thing for us. I will praise him every single day. Thank you Lord for your goodness.
  • Mandy on Daniel 6 - 9 years ago
It tells us how great God is if you are faithful to him. Daniel stood on his words not to worship any other God apart his God who create heaven and earth.
  • Judy Gainey on Romans 5 - 9 years ago
In Romans 5:19, For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. This is talking about by Adam, we were made sinners, but by being obedient to Jesus we are made righteous.
  • Word on Isaiah 45 - 9 years ago
God created Satan but he was Lucifer and God created all men with Freewill and some are evil. Satan sends his tares to earth written in Matt. 13:36-44 his children. They are his because they followed him to overthrow God on the throne but were cast down/ katabole. So you could say God created evil but if you believe God created evil the way some make it sound I wouldn't want to be you. God is Love
  • Irene123 - 9 years ago
God has made full provision for His children's spiritual, mental, financial, social, and physical needs. He will give that provision to all that obey His Word. The final verse of the section, 2 Peter 1:11 points out that acting on the instructions of vs. 5-7 will guarantee an abundant entrance into the everlasting Kingdom of the Lord.
  • Irene123 on 2 Peter 1 - 9 years ago
Peter declared that God "hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and Godliness, through the knowledge of Him", ( 2 Peter 1:3). The way to become Godly is get acquainted with God Himself - through His Word and having His indwelling spirit to guide him in the reading of His Word.
