These last few chapters of Exodus are about building the Tabernacle. I love the way God told Moses how he wanted it built and these other guys came WITH WISDOM and knew exactly how God told Moses, he wanted it built. The Sad part. is I have no clue what any of the measurements mean. :(

my thoughts on this verse. it means to me that in everything that I do, I will put him first. That I will trust his will for my life, know matter the situation. I will tell my testimony to the world, of the goodness god has blessed me with.

The fact that the Father takes time to give specific measurements of the temple He designed tells us how important the repentance of sin is. Thus the sacrifice that Jesus His son made for us is too detailed as the whole plan of redemption reveals God's love for us when Jesus and the Father met together before the creation of this world. All so that we'd continue to belong to Him despite the fall.

Great four chapters! Book of Ruth is a wonderful story . Grace and a virtuous woman go hand in hand.

Irene: The Lord used a needle as an example. again there has never been a gate called as such,never has been.the only thing I found was a rope or twine made from camels hair. Will: any little seed of sin in our life can explode into a raging inferno! That's why we have to get rid of all our sins. The child could ask, where did I come from? who are my parents? why did you kill them? Or hear from other tribes around, the evils of their families history. The seed is planted,the cycle starts again!

The fact is Jesus was born, He came into the world to atone for our sins,He was resurrected, and He's alive today. This is what we should celebrate, as we are told in the Old Testament in such passages as Zechariah 2:10: Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,' declares the LORD. In fact Jesus Christ is Jehovah God in the flesh! Celebrate every day!!

Yes, Irene123, I was referring to you. I think the comment/question you had made was "How do you go through the door...?". It wasn't that I was implying you didn't go to church enough, just some ways that you can have Jesus in your heart.

If you wish to live, keep the commandments. If you would be perfect, forsake the sin and deceit of the world, and follow Jesus with all your heart. Do you want God? He is closer than your hands and feet, and His word is near, even in your mouth! But your sins have separated you from your God, and will sink you lower than the grave, if you don't repent and turn your life to seek the Lord in truth.

I love Lk. 4:16-21; They are the beginning of Jesus' ministry after He had fasted AND prayed. He went into the synagogue, asked for God's Word, turned to Isa. and STOOD UP to read (our example to follow) and then sat down and gave a summary of His ministry for the next 3 1/2 yrs. These scriptures, to me, are so 'holy' and full of such graciousness, wonder. Nor do I know why I feel this way - ?

The LORD knew all along, that Pharaoh and his servants would never repent nor humble themselves to obey God, by the word of His servant Moses; and that not even until He had done all His signs and judgments upon them, they would never give up their cruel grip upon the people. Now look at the things that are happening today in the world: it is the same spirit of defiance driving them!

(7-10) In that the LORD did these things, and let the rest of the world continue; indicates that it was a sign of the Great Deliverance and Salvation at the end of days: for Israel was to set as a sign for blessing and spiritual guidance to the world, up to that day; but they knew it not.
