We are given light and grace and the Holy Spirit to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are entrusted with the Announced Glad Tidings of Christ in order to save men's lives, not to destroy them by sin's scandals and worldly lives.

Nobody realizes; and is certainly not preached or taught ANYWHERE; about what all happened and how significant was the destruction and carrying away captive of Judah and Jerusalem. Praise the Lord, oh my soul. I thank God for all His blessings every day. I am studying for a final in Book Editing, and I hope to do well. Then on to take Proofreading classes so I can get a job and be able to help my spouse pay off a mountain of medical bills, most of them mine. I have great faith that God will get me through this, as He has gotten me and my family through a lot in the past few years. We still have a lot of work to do to mend fences within our family, but I know that our Heavenly Father will see us through it all. I love God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, always.

Josiah did well but at the end did not listen to the Word of God through Necho. He was mortally wounded in the battle and later died in Jerusalem. We must keep listening to and obeying the words of God.

I don't understand how Nehemiah is the last book of the Old Testament.

To a Disciple. Don’t get me wrong: I love Ap. Paul: I just disagree of how he treats Ap. Peter, who is equally dear to me. His attitude of a learned man, a Pharisee who studied at the feet of Gamaliel, towards a simple fisherman, strikes me as arrogance. I don’t think Jesus would agree with that. And that is not all… so, talk to me Disciple!

To a Disciple. No, I am not hasty, and it doesn’t take special revelation to see where Ap. Paul comes from; whence his behavior. Read the whole letter to Galatians, and you will understand better. Accusing your fellow worker, who was trained by Jesus for 3.5 years, a faithful man, full of the Holy Spirit, of hypocrisy, and cursing the people who disagree with you; is hardly Christian behavior.

Paul reminds us in this chapter that we must be filled with the Holy Spirit to be able to discern things of this world. God's promises for us if we keep His commandments are also contained in "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." Let us love the Lord with all our heart and it shall be well with us.

"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." The greatness and generosity of God is more than any of us will ever understand. As it says in the Psalms, His understanding is infinite i.e. There is no number! Yet we must make sure our calling and election is in the same Spirit as His holiness and love of righteousness and truth that cannot abide a character unfit for His presence and fellowship. He has made every possible provision for our salvation and safe arrival home to Himself after our time here. So what then was the difference between the wise and the foolish virgins? They all were called, and all had the Wedding Garments and Lamps! But why were some too dull to make sure they had Oil for their Lamps? Why sit there waiting like an idiot with no oil for your Lamp? Do you just want to carry a useless lantern, while your hands could be freed up to carry other things? Better make sure how important this Wedding, and the Bridegroom really is to you or don't waste your time!

All the times we read about Jesus receiving and forgiving the sinner, we should recognize that there were certain conditions that were met by the one coming to the Lord, so that he was accepted. Not every place where the Sower sows!

Verse 15: The Edomites rejoiced at the downfall of their brothers the Israelites. This chapter shows that Jehovah God was displeased with this attitude and he would bring punishment upon the Edomites for this wrong attitude.

Jeff (cont. 2); Besides, every true Christian wants everyone to come to repentance, and find the mercy and grace of salvation: we want everyone to know the Lord Jesus like we know Him, and be blessed. But we have to be realistic; just like God is realistic: at a certain point even God has to let men have what they really want; and when they DON'T WANT JESUS OR HIS SPIRIT; then they are damned!

Jeff (cont.); You start out nice in your last post, but what don't you agree with? Can't you see a difference in the kinds of sins that men do? Jesus even said, that "ALL MANNER OF SINS SHALL BE FORGIVEN TO THE SONS OF MEN; BUT THE BLASPHEMY OF THE SPIRIT SHALL NEVER BE FORGIVEN: NEITHER IN THIS WORLD OR THE NEXT!" My view is that Judas' sin was against the Spirit, and he was rejected!

Jeff; I wasn't offended, Brother! I'm glad if I could help. As there aren't many who like to talk about such dreadful things as falling into sin, and outright betrayal of Christ; and what are the differences in sins, that like the Apostle John says; some we pray for and some we do not; some are unto death and some are not! Considering the matter of Peter and Judas is very important for all of us.

God provided thru faith the Jews first and the gentiles(he is no respect of persons) a way to eternal life .He has not forgotten the Jews, that well he deal with later. Until all the gentiles come in then all will be saved

Julie; JESUS DOES ANSWER OUR PRAYERS! The Lord bless you and comfort you, Sister! Jesus cannot forget us; but all our walls are before Him, and He knows our troubles and sorrows, and bears them with us. Our day is coming, and the unspeakable joy of finally seeing Him ALIVE AND IN GLORY, who once hung dead on the cross for us, will make all these things here and now just melt away as insignificant!

Walter; actually it very much IS literal! While the ungodly are going deeper and deeper into darkness and deceit, and they are breaking all the bonds and casting away all the cords; God has already judged them, and so removes His restraint from before them. We seek to walk in Truth and a good conscience following our dear Saviour Jesus: for this we are persecuted and MUST BE PATIENT while we wait!

Dear Stan; That's why we must keep our hearts fixed on Him who sits at the right hand of God, who is very soon coming for us. This is NOT our Country, nor our World; and though we do pray for the good of the people of this place; we also understand that the things will only get worse as men increasingly despise and reject the Saviour Jesus Christ and disobey His Words. Hang in there, Brother!
